Hello, Dear Ones,

Here are thoughts on the Los Angeles economy. There’s a Summary after the video; new text is in green font.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I had a few thoughts about the current economy in Los Angeles, and also in Colorado and New Mexico.

On Reducing Landfill by Reusing Road Repaving ‘Scrabble’

I was watching the roads being scraped up in preparation for being repaved today, here in Los Angeles. And I wonder if the scrabble that’s scraped up from the roads might be used on dirt roads to improve them. That would save on landfill expenses in landfills, and it would also improve the dirt roads in outlying areas if it’s nontoxic and doesn’t cause too many problems.

I feel as if it’s worth looking into. And also, I’m thinking, other large landfill issues: If there are items that are being used for landfills a lot, let’s look at the ways to recycle them and use them to improve our lives here in Los Angeles.

On Reusing Substandard Thrift Store Fabric as Clothing and Blankets for the Los Angeles Homeless, Rather than Sending It to Other Countries

For instance, the thrift stores, such as Goodwill and Salvation Army, I think, take substandard clothes and ship them off to other countries. But yet, here we have a great problem with homeless people here in Los Angeles.

Why not use those clothes for the homeless here in the Los Angeles area? And why not use the fabric that’s otherwise unusable to make blankets for the homeless?

The Hidden Cost of Not Providing Immunizations and Infectious Disease Care for Illegal Aliens in Los Angeles

Also, with regard to the homeless, I have read that there are many homeless people that aren’t eligible for health care, such as HIV care and hepatitis care, and care for all of the infectious diseases.

My feeling is that those that are not eligible, because of, say, citizenship, or whatever, are most likely in danger of infecting the homeless people who do have health care here in the Los Angeles area … I think there are 6,000 homeless people here in the San Fernando Valley; 60,000 in Los Angeles County, and probably many more. (1)

The cost to us, in the long term, is great, for not providing health care to those, say, undocumented aliens and so forth, that don’t qualify for health care. This is because they’re living with other homeless people who do get health care, and those people get sicker.

The Importance of Counselling Centers for the Los Angeles Homeless, to Assist Them in Returning to a Productive Life

Also, I feel, … I was talking to a friend about this, and I agree … I think that counselling for the homeless is a major, and perhaps overlooked issue here in Los Angeles.

It is vitally important that the homeless here in the San Fernando Valley have centers available … small, local centers would be best; but even one center or two centers in the San Fernando Valley would be good … that help people get back on their feet by providing information about shelters (of which, I feel, there are very few), and also, especially, about jobs and substance abuse programs, and so forth.

The Hidden Cost of Hiring Illegal Aliens in the Outlying Areas of Los Angeles, Such as the Farming Community

I had one other thought regarding the economy all over the United States and the issue of illegal aliens. Here in Los Angeles, in the outlying areas and farming communities, and so forth, there’s a tendency to hire illegal aliens because their labor is cheaper, right?

I was thinking this over the other night, and it occurred to me that the money that we’re paying as United States citizens … the taxes that we’re paying, that help support the indigenous homeless population, and from which, often, this labor is drawn … these taxes that we pay for welfare, and so forth, for these people are increasing the burden of tax expense of those who employ the homeless … and of everyone else.

And so, our salaries do not stretch as far as they used to, because of the increased tax burden.

And in addition, products have increased in price … Maybe because of this. Because, basically, we’re employing cheap labor, and there are hidden costs. And one of the hidden costs consists of the taxes that we pay for the welfare of the people that aren’t paying into the taxes.

In other words, this whole homeless population is not paying into taxes. Yet, our tax dollars are helping to support them, in terms of health and housing, and so forth.

So there is a hidden cost in employing illegal aliens. So why not hire, locally, people who are citizens instead?

The Upward Spiral of Goods and Utilities, and the Downward Spiral of Living Conditions for Those Paying into Our Tax Base

The thing is that, overall, this country is based on the notion that most people will get jobs, and will pull their own weight and contribute to the economy, you see. And pay taxes and so forth.

So that that smaller percentage of people who are down on their luck and can’t get work for a while, will be able to get by. And, for instance, mothers will have enough milk for their children through the milk program, and so older people who don’t have a safety net financially, will have a minimum amount that they can get by with.

So the whole notion … that most of the people in this country will pull their own weight financially, and will provide taxes … is critical to our situation right now.

What we have is an influx of many, many people who aren’t in a position to pull their own weight. And so, taxes go up.

And so, more people come in, who are willing to work for very little, because they’re not paying taxes. And then, the people that attain citizenship during this process … they begin to bear the burden of, and begin to see the trouble that’s caused by the people who are immigrating illegally into this country.

We’re in a spiral, right now, of higher and higher prices of goods. And very few people are able to afford very much.

The utilities … the water, electricity, gas, and trash collection … are going up immensely here in Los Angeles as well.

On Resigning Ourselves to the Future Prospect of Sustainable Living, Similar to That in Our Grandparents’ and Great-Grandparents’ Time

So we need to look at sustainable living. We need to step out of the system, insofar as possible, and make friends with our neighbors, and try and get by with a lot less, as was done in the days of my grandparents. That’s what I think.

On the Prospect of a Shift in Attitude, by Those Who Have Achieved Citizenship, Toward the Issue of Illegal Immigration

And in the meantime, I feel that those people who have entered the country and attained citizenship, will become aware of, and their attitudes will shift with regard to illegal immigration into the country. I hope that’s the case, anyway.

On Starting Where We Find Our Feet to Be Standing

My own feeling is that the place to start with improvement in the economic lives of a people is at home … in one’s own country. Why should economic opportunities be scarce, south of the border? Why are they now scarcer and scarcer in Los Angeles?

We must start where we are, where we live; speak with our friends and neighbors, and do what we can to change what must be changed, and to find innovative means of subsistence for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities.

In love, light and joy
This is Alice B. Clagett.

Dear Ones,

THE WILD ASTRAL STORIES ABOUT SNUFF FILMS: INTRODUCTION

The astral story goes like this: The snuff film industry is flourishing, in America, in the Philippines, and in other countries as well. Why is this?

The industry stance, according to the astral stories, is that people who are down and out, drug addicts perhaps …. people who are ‘not like us’ … may decide life is not worth living, and may receive an offer from the snuff film industry to have money sent to their family, or set aside for the care of their children, in exchange for a starring role in a snuff film.

According to the astral stories, this is rarely the case. Instead, lone people camping in the National Forests, or sleeping in an alley, or begging on the streets, or engaged in sex work, are being kidnapped, drugged by injection to a senseless state, and then offered as blood sacrifice in snuff films performed weekly in the United States.

IS SNUFF PREYING ON THE HOMELESS?

There is further an astral story of snuff films produced here in Los Angeles, until recently, using homeless men for torture and murder on screen, and that these films were approved by an underground distribution outfit after the moment of physical death was replaced with footage of a fake execution.

ARE OUR MAILS COMPROMISED? WAS PONY EXPRESS A BETTER DEAL?

There is another wild astral story to the effect that the snuff and drug industries have bought their way into post offices, both public and private, across America, and are shipping body parts and drugs wherever they please.

Further, that these in-place snuff and drug operatives (who look just like our friendly postal workers, and are, as the astral stories go, trusted members of our communities) are raiding the mails at the behest of the snuff and drug industries.

Were that true, we Americans would find ourselves on the horns of quite an uncomfortable dilemma.

ASTRAL STORIES ABOUT THE DARK SHADOW OF THE SECRET SERVICE AND THE SNUFF INDUSTRY

There is a super scary astral story, to the effect that our government permits its retired secret service agents to participate as executioners in snuff movies once a week or once a month … perhaps in some sleepy burg in Middle America, or perhaps in some small town in the wild and woolly West … using for these retirement perks any unwary man, woman, or child in the USA … on the theory that they have killed for their country, and cannot be expected to toe the line in retirement. Noooo!

Here is an equally scary astral story … zillions of fake secret service IDs are in the hands of folks with criminal tendencies, who convince law enforcement that they are performing snuff films as part of a government black ops program … Wow?!

WEALTH AND THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE: SNUFF PITCHED TO THE UNWARY AS A GROWTH INDUSTRY

24 “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” –Matthew 19:24 (KJV, public domain)

Could it possibly be that wealthy men across America are falling for the idea that snuff is a growth industry with a high rate of return … ‘better than money in the bank’ … and financing these putative films? If true, what would be the appropriate civic and criminal penalties for backers?

ASTRAL STORIES PURPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT TO BE INVEIGLED BY THE SNUFF AND DRUG INDUSTRIES

Could it possibly be that the snuff and drug industries are carefully hamstringing law enforcement by drugging their sons and daughters, compromising them with minor roles in these snuff films, and then blackmailing their law enforcement relatives with some kind of damning film clip?

The other wild astral story along this line is that queens of snuff are seducing law enforcement with performances that beggar description, and through this inveigling them to ‘look the other way’ … as long as their snuff victims are considered troublemakers, or social outcasts … or, when the chips are down, are just about anyone who does not own local land?

Scary movieville, surely; and not real life. That is my guess.

THE MAJOR HOTEL CLOSED CIRCUIT TV ASTRAL SNUFF STORY

One of the astral stories goes like this: Snuff films are produced weekly in the basement of one of the hotels in a hotel chain. These films are said to be offered, via closed circuit TV, for a hefty price, to television watchers in expensive motels across the nation.

Would a major hotel chain traffic in snuff films? Could this possibly be true?

MY ISSUES WITH THESE WILD ASTRAL STORIES: THE FACTS, PLEASE!

I have major issues with these astral stories; specifically …

If they are true, then where are the piles of bodies? There are not that many bodies reported in the news. And, responding to specific wild astral stories on this point …

I have never seen or heard of body parts being shipped through the mail. If they were, surely it would have to be shrink wrapped, and by Priority Mail. What would happen to them at the destination? Would they be fed to the fishes? Yuck!

Is it true that people are being cut up and flushed down toilets? Double scary movieville yuck! What would be done with the bones, then? Dried, pounded into bone meal, and used as fertilizer? I am not buying that fertilizer!

Then there is the astral story that a side occupation of the drug industry in America is assassination; that drugs are being shipped up the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), and on the return trip, bodies are being shipped back down to Mexico. That the teeth are dumped in those southern septic pits, and the bodies left to rot in the desert sun.

What do the people that contribute these astral daydreams to the realm of astral stories look like, anyway? Do they comb their hair? Are they horror film buffs? What gives?  And where is the glory in this Bonnie and Clyde stuff? Surely it is drug use that causes these nightmare astral stories of death and murder to circulate through the noosphere; as drugs poison our body cells, and cause notions of death to well up in every part of our body. On to a less sensational question …

I have never seen a snuff film for sale. Are they really for sale? If so, are there any figures on sales? In other words, would this be a small market with deep density of energy, and thus ‘shouting out’ like a banshee on the astral plane? Or is it a big problem in America?

Are there no agencies in America that keep track of homeless men, women and children, and look after their well-being and whereabouts? If there are such agencies, are they finding lots of people coming up missing?

If any of this is true, then what would be the appropriate civic and criminal penalties for the major players, and how might their o’erweeningly derring-do selves be brought to the dispassionate arms of our justice system?

If through investigation, these astral stories are found to be untrue, shall we not publish this very good news, so that everyone may know all is well?

A LOOK AT THE GLOBAL SNUFF QUESTION IN THE COMING AGE OF GLOBAL TELEPATHY

If this astral story is true of America and the Philippines, is it true in other parts of the world as well? And, what do we, the people of America want to do about it? Ought laws be passed to regulate this practice? Ought it be forbidden, worldwide? Ought there be punitive fines and possible prison terms for purchase of such a performance, or of a snuff movie, or of the right to a viewing?

Well, these are all questions that are bound to come up as global telepathy becomes the norm, and as all the people on Earth are awakening. We that are awake to the cries of agony of these victims of the snuff entertainment world feel their pain as if it were our own. In like manner, we feel the arrogance of those who, inevitably high on hard drugs, deal these poor people their death blow, as if it were we ourselves who stun our shocked Souls into strictures of sneering one-upmanship.

I am better than he … we hear … for I have laid him low, and poured my dram of exultation down upon his shivering corpse.

Go figure. How things in this dimension might have gotten like this in the space of a mere 20,000 years of Darkness!

CALL TO ACTION: DISCOVERY, DISCLOSURE, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE WORLDWIDE!

Now is the time for cleanup, for sure. I call for the world community to speak its truth regarding this barbarity …

  • For the homeless and disempowered to find safety and shelter among the agencies and civic organizations that will shelter them;
  • For those with a habit of using hard drugs to find the courage to seek help in getting clean, as hard drug use ever leads to atrocity, either performed by oneself or against one’s person, and at the very best, to nowhere good;
  • And for the entertainment industry, here in America, to rise to these times of Awakening. No longer to glory in portrayal of violence and social irresponsibility. But rather, to offer stories that speak to our Souls, so that we may learn to accept challenge with an open heart, and find, step by step, greater and greater fulfillment in service to the All, through Free Will.

Dear Ones,

A video about the homeless encampments of the Great Depression, the situation in America today, and the solutions implemented by President Theodore Roosevelt long ago. What answers to this problem might be usefully considered today? Also, American work furlough programs as the wave of the future for prisoners convicted of less notably violent crimes.

There is an edited Summary after the video. Then there are additional sections that supplement the topic of the video.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I thought I would tell you a story that my mom told me, in relation to a newspaper story that I saw the other day. The two are related, but they are miles apart in terms of years and generations …

My Mother’s Story About Employment of the Homeless for Public Works in the Great Depression

When I was very young, my mother told me the story of the Great Depression. That was the time she lived through before I was born. In the time of the Great Depression, there was no work to be had. There were a number of reasons why many men could not find work at all. And so, she said, they left their homes and their families, in hopes of finding work elsewhere. And they roamed around and lived under bridge abutments, off the sides of roads, in crude encampments of tent dwellings … and looked for work from there, in hopes that they could get money to support their families.

These tent villages were huge sometimes; and there was some lawlessness there …  sometimes fighting and brawling and alcohol drinking, and maybe even occasionally murders … and of course there was a problem with sanitation, and how they might find enough food to eat; and whether their tents would hold up in a rainstorm, whether they could be warm in the snow, and so forth.

These were desperate men. And the people in the towns, who lived near these homeless encampments, would come to the tent villages, and there would be huge fights and killings and drivings off of people, and so forth.

Then finally it came to the attention of the government, and they tried to think of a solution to this problem. One of the things they came up with, was the idea of hiring these people to do public works projects all over the United States … and often in areas that were rural.

So they would hire them. And in that way these people would have just enough money to support their families. And the Works Progress Administration would hire them; and in that way these people would have just enough money to support their families. And they would transport them to very rural locations.

One of the ideas I have is that then they could get into no trouble; there would be no alcohol; they could get their food supplied for them; and they would be with other people who were in equal economic straits, in a place where there was really nothing to be done but very hard work … with good results too, because among these public works projects of the 1930s, many still remain today. Bridges were built all over the United States. They worked on all kinds of public projects, including roads. And they did great work, very enduring work that is still there. They built the transportation system of America.

Link: “The Living New Deal” … https://livingnewdeal.org/ ..

During a time when there was no hope, the government helped to supply them with a living for themselves and their families.

A Recent News Story about a Homeless Encampment

That is mom’s story. And so now to get to the story that I saw in the newspaper that I saw in the newspaper the other day: I saw a story about a homeless encampment in San Francisco. There wree problems that were reminiscent of the homeless encampments in the 1930s, problems with lawlessness, sanitation, the use of drugs, and so on.

Consequently the government ordered that everyone leave that area. Some people complied, and some people would not comply. At the time that I read this newspaper article, there were people who were determined to stay and express their right to be where they were.

I feel it is time for the government to consider what can be done to employ these people. For instance, there was a nurse there who had lost her work. What can be done to turn around this situation? How can these people be housed? How can they receive medical care? How can they get hope back into their lives?

It is important. This time is now. We do not want homelessness and lawlessness in our cities. But the answer is not violence. The answer is not government edicts to move on. The answer is some constructive thing that can help them to achieve whatever goals they may have that are positively oriented towards society.

I hope this will be considered in the near future, for America. We thought of it long ago. This is just like a redux; it is a return to something to help them maintain their ideal of the American dream, just as we who are homed hope to maintain that ideal.

On Restorative Justice and Work Ethic Education of Prisoners

There is one more thing that I found out during my recent road trip north through California. I was in Ukiah, the county seat of Mendocino County, where there was a work realignment program that allowed all but violent criminals to work at jobs like emptying trash receptacles and road work, and so forth, and then just be in prison at night.

Link: “Corrections: Alternative Programs,” at Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office …  http://www.mendocinosheriff.com/corrections/workrelease.html Home Detention, Work Release, Work Furlough

I believe this was for people who had been convicted of crimes that were not notably violent. This seems to be the wave of the future for criminal justice: Not so much to house people in hopeless circumstances, where they simply scheme to get back at society for what has been done to them, but instead to allow them a chance to work towards a change in their attitude … a chance to have jobs like other people have, and a chance to be treated more humanely, so that they can begin to learn the true rules of society. I say this because I feel it likely that people who operate from the perspective of the criminal mind have not been granted that kind of view of the way that society functions, that most people get. So this is a chance to do that.

You all take care. Love you lots. Bye bye.

[This is the end of the video. The following are supplemental sections …]

HOW SAN FRANCISCO IS DEALING WITH ITS 6,000 HOMELESS

I recently perused an article that mentioned there are now 6,000 homeless in San Francisco …

LInk: “San Francisco Wants Homeless to Leave Tent Camp, But Some Vow to Fight,” by Thomas Fuller, 26 February 2016 … http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/27/us/san-francisco-wants-homeless-to-leave-tent-camp-but-some-vow-to-fight.html?_r=0 ..

San Francisco’s response to this problem was to evacuate a tent city on Division Street, citing health problems. Of course, the larger problem is: What to do about the homeless all across America.

THE SHANTYTOWNS OR ‘HOOVERVILLES’ OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION

This Wikipedia article describes the homeless encampments of the Great Depression …

LInk: “Hooverville” … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooverville ..

In the early 1930s, millions were homeless. Those living on the streets numbered in the hundreds of thousands.

In bitter derision of then-President Herbert Hoover, homeless shantytowns were termed ‘Hoovervilles’.  Homeless families were camped out in New York’s Central Park. There were eight Hoovervilles in Seattle. There was a very large Hooverville in St. Louis as well, with 4 districts and its own mayor.

“The Bonus Army” was a group of World War I veterans who established a Hooverville in the District of Columbia. At its peak, this shantytown numbered 15,000 veterans seeking their benefits. Apparently, there was much violence surrounding this encampment. Here is a very famous photo of veterans fighting with law enforcement …

THE NEW DEAL AND PUBLIC WORKS TO EMPLOY THE UNEMPLOYED

The New Deal was President Theodore Roosevelt’s answer to the Great Depression. See …

LInk: “New Deal,” in Wikipedia … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Deal#Public_works ..

President Roosevelt’s Public Works program, mentioned in the video and in the Wikipedia article, put many homeless men to work building bridges, dams, courthouses, post offices, and roads. It might be good to have such a government program today to employ the homeless and help build a better America.

Dear Ones,

This is a revision of a film first published on 12 August 2015. A portion of the original video has been separated out and published as “How to Know Whether a Star Message Is True.”

The video below is about some questions that have come up on the clair plane as the Light levels up …

  • The good versus the bad in religions; seeing the Light as well as the Dark
    • Religious wars; violence in the name of religion
    • Churches as sanctuary
    • The social good that churches do
    • Holy Communion vs ‘cannibalism’
    • Holy Mass versus Black Mass
    • Good priests versus those who have erred
  • Waking up to the Darkness in 3D-4D groups. Understanding this in the context of the world of Duality – polarity. Seeing the Light in groups, and upholding that.
  • What will become of groups during ascension?
  • Dealing with life situations in times of change
  • The symphony of the Universe

There is an edited Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

It’s Alice, Dear Ones; I Am of the Stars.

I had just a few suggestions for you with regard to religious war, and how the great heroism and courage of men of great religious convictions all over Earth is being exploited by the Dark side … the Darkness … to create wars which are said to be for the sake of religion.

You and I both know that war and religion are polar opposites, right? This is Duality … this is polarity, here … and that is very expectable.

People of religion may wish to consider standing for peace, and not for war … not in any circumstances … unless their home turf is invaded, you know? But if we all said that, nothing would ever happen in the way of war. [laughs]

What happens, when people start seeing the Darkness in a group or in a person … because of the way some part of the mind works, they start concentrating on the Darkness. When we say that, because of religious wars, religions are bad or evil, I think we are going a little too far.

I remember the last time I was in Los Angeles, a very big city. I had become more and more sensitive. And Los Angeles was releasing all kinds of mental chaos and emotional chaos last winter, when I was there.

The safest place that I found in my general area was a big church on the edge of the town, a little bit up a hill. So it was less populated there. A lot of people went to that church; and it was perfect. Even if no one was there, I could find sanctuary there. So what I say from that is, there must be something good about churches; you know?

The other thing that comes up is that, in some Christian churches, there is the symbolic act: the eating of the bread and the wine, which symbolize the body and blood of Christ. Of course, it is possible to take that in the context of cannibalism. This is very similar to when the demonically oriented people … the black magic people … used to take a Mass and change the words backwards (or whatever it was that they did). They wanted to court evil, rather than Christ consciousness.

So to say that a sacrament that people take to be a sign that they are willing to walk Christ’s path and that they are willing to rise to Christ consciousness … to say that that sacrament is cannibalism, is sort of like saying the Mass backwards, you know?

These Darknesses do exist in this Duality. Every Light, in the third and fourth dimensions, has a corresponding Dark. But that is not the same thing as saying that the Light is Dark. You know? We have to see the Light; we have to see the Light here, but not the Dark.

For instance, there are many good priests, who would not think of committing child abuse, or anything like that. But there are a few that have. Why should we concentrate on that? Why not concentrate on the wonderful help that the churches do … the outreach that they do to the community, to lift up the poor; to help women; to help children; to help the powerless?

There are many great acts that churches do: To feed the homeless; to comfort to their congregations in times of need; to find people jobs; and in my case, to offer physical sanctuary that is free of the demonic influence, in a place that is releasing all kinds of mental chaos at this time.

That is just my thought; my thought is that we ought to have a tempered approach to everything on Earth, because all these groups are composed of human beings, right? … composed of humanity. And we are all one humankind. We are all ascending together. We can all support each other in this. [sighs]

As to the fate of groups, as ascension occurs, the consciousness will come first, for all the changes on Earth, I feel. The consciousness will change; and because the consciousness of each human changes, then we will find new ways of expressing ourselves as a social memory complex.

There is no use, for instance, worrying and saying: Uh-oh, I am not supposed to eat meat any more! … you know? and … What will become of my cattle ranch? … This is a valid concern.

Or: Oh my gosh, it would be better to be outdoors than working in an office … and here I am, stuck in an office! There is no use for all these concerns we have about how things are changing; because as our consciousness changes, it will become clear to us, what the next step is. And we, as humankind, do not know, yet, what the changes will be, because our consciousness is not there yet.

It will all become clear, little by little. It strikes me that a great symphony is taking place; I can hear it! A great symphony of the Universe is taking place! And our piccolo [laughs] blends with the cosmic sound so beautifully, you know?

If only we knew how beautiful we are; how harmonic with all that is! If only we knew how easy it is, to rise to that understanding, we would have no concerns at all. There would be no discomfort in this process.

I know this to be true with my heart. Sometimes I falter. I understand; sometimes I do falter.

I wish you sureness in your steps, and a sure path forward. God bless you all. Bye-bye.

In love, light and joy
