This page contains more license information with regard to text, images, audio, and videos in my “Awakening with Planet Earth” website. At the end of the page is information on my Moral Rights as an author.

Text. The ideas in this Creative Commons site are mine, or channeled through me, or else generally accepted theory, unless I indicate otherwise.

If text is enclosed in quotation marks, with a citation of someone other than me after the quoted material, then that passage is not mine (but it will be either public domain or Creative Commons in its own right).

In a few instances I state that a passage is paraphrased and offer the citation.

Any stories or events described in this site are entirely fictional and the characters referred to are entirely fictional as well, except where a story or event is referred to in a patently factual context, or where a person is referred to by name in a patently factual context.

Images. Some of my images are my own creations entirely.

Others of my images are Creative Commons images attributed to me, with a secondary citation of a source other than mine and which is either public domain or Creative Commons. (For instance, that may apply to some of my composite images.)

In a few instances I indicate that I have drawn an image ‘after’ an image that I have found online. In this way I make it clear that some materials or concepts are not my own, but are presented in such a way as to avoid infringing on other people’s copyrights.

Exceptions. If the caption of an image has a primary citation of a source other than mine, then that image is not mine.

Those images that are not mine may be Creative Commons in their own right, or they may be exceptions to my Creative Commons license.

For instance, they may be public domain, which offers rights more liberal than does Creative Commons.

Audio. Some of the audio files on this site are my own, and these are my own Creative Commons audio files.

Very rarely there may be audio files on this site that are the Creative Commons audio files of other people.

Exceptions. Other audio files on this site are Pixabay music. The Pixabay music license is similar to, but not the same as Creative Commons licenses. In the context of Pixabay music on this site, the term “Pixabay License” has the same meaning as the more descriptive term “Pixabay Content License.”  For more on Pixabay licenses please see Pixabay … https://pixabay.com/ ..

Videos. The videos embedded in this site are my own, and these are my own Creative Commons videos. ‘Embedded’ means that an image of the video is displayed on my web page, and the reader can click directly on the arrow that causes the video to play.

Exceptions. When videos are linked to but not embedded in my site, then the great majority of these videos are not my Creative Commons videos. They may be my videos, but not Creative Commons. Or they may be (and in most cases are) the videos of other people, to which I have no claim.

Moral Rights. My moral rights as an author have to do with my right not to have my reputation tarnished by others through distortion, mutilation, modification, or other derogatory action with regard to my literary work or my visual art work. More on that is here …
