He may have grand psychic powers, power over the life and death of others through psychic heart attack or by throwing on them a psychic ‘cloak of despair unto death’. He may have a large following because of his mind control abilities, through which he may conceal his true inclinations and intent. He is the ‘unnatural mother’ who turns his childlike followers to the Dark, so that he may stand on their backs in Hell, lording it as the highest of those of his charges who have passed on.
