I just woke up thinking about a Mystical Poetry Celebration I facilitated at The Onion … http://sepulvedauu.org/ … in North Hills, Los Angeles, California, a few years ago. It somehow seemed relevant today, so here it is.

What is Mysticism?

Mysticism is immediate consciousness of the transcendent or ultimate reality.

WAYS TO EXPERIENCE MYSTICISM

Slowing the Mind

  • Meditation
  • Repeating a mantra (a sacred sound or word)
  • Gazing at a mandala (sacred art that induces a meditative state)

Concentrating on the Body Instead of the Mind

  • Dance, such as: Sufi whirling and Dances of Universal Peace (1)
  • Walking in a maze or labyrinth
  • Walking in a circle

Extraordinary Sensory and Emotional Experiences

  • Extreme pain, such as mortification of the flesh
  • White tantric yoga (kundalini risen, which I feel to be a good choice for many healthy, spiritual people)
  • Black tantric yoga (reverse kundalini, which I strongly advise against)
  • Red tantric yoga (sexual union in a sacred context)
  • Use of such psychoactive substances … LSD, peyote, etc (Caveat: This can cause ‘bad trips’ and contact with negative astral entities.)

WHY IS MYSTICISM SO ALL-PERVADING?

The Mystical Mind

In 1999, Eugene d’Aquili and Andrew Newberg wrote a book in which they demonstrated that God is generated by and generates the brain (2,3) …

If this is true, then it follows that the mystical experience is inherent in brain chemistry.

Now, the doubter in us might propose that any experience based on brain chemistry is suspect, might he not? But on what basis might he make that assumption? On the basis of sense perceptions?

Sense perceptions are also based on brain chemistry, and so, our doubter must posit, they are also suspect. More suspect, I might suppose, than the mystical experience, since many subjective interpretations may be put upon sense perceptions, and all mystical experiences are remarkably similar.

A person determined to experience ‘things as they are’ will find sense perceptions often mislead … they severely limit the data that come to us from the universe. What about the mystical experience? Could it be an experience of reality at the quantum physics level? At the level of the most basic subatomic particles?

If, in fact, the mystical experience holds greater scientific validity than sense perceptions, then the question becomes, how to have this mystical experience, how to experience reality as it is, and not through the filter of the senses.

Mental Intelligence versus Universal Intelligence

In autumn, starlings flock and dance together at nightfall in the skies above England and Scotland. These dancing clouds of starlings are called murmurations and their complex dance patterns, performed, as it seems, of ‘one mind’ are like aerial ballet in their precision.

Why do they do it? How do they do it? It is not like they have been having practice sessions together. It is not like they are all that intelligent. Why do they not bump into each other in mid-air?

There is a theory that we have been looking at the starlings for intelligence, and we have been looking in the wrong place … intelligence is all around us … in the air …

… or so the theory goes. We (birds, people) are the end-receptors, so to speak, of universal intelligence. (4)

All we have to do is open ourselves to it and let it in. What if we do not? Well, then we will be stuck with the limited intelligence stored in our personal minds. We will not get to stand in the doorway to unlimited intelligence, the doorway to All That Is. The key to that door is found through the practice of mysticism.

SWARM BEHAVIOR

Scientists call what the starlings do ‘swarm behavior’. Two-dimensional computer simulations have been made showing this behavior.

The second and last video clip is just such a computer simulation. As you watch this video, imagine that you yourself exist as points of light … in quantum physical terms, as a ‘swarm’ consisting of tiny bundles of subatomic energy. Imagine that the edges of the screen represent time and space …

What would happen if there were no edges on the screen of our minds? What would happen to the points of Light that represent our awareness?

Could These Notions Be True?

  • God is generated by and generates the brain.
  • The mystical experience is more valid than sense perceptions.
  • Unlimited intelligence pours into our limited human form from the air, from water, and some say, from the solar winds, from the Universe. As the song goes, “Love is in the air!” All we have to do is perceive it.
  • And finally: We exist as points of Light. Our awareness is compressed by our concept of time and space into a four-dimensional reality (length, width, breadth, and time). This time-and-space limitation is a mental concept only; not reality. What is reality, then?

Bill Ballard …

… describes the twin flame relationship as an electromagnetic circuit that allows us to experience more polarity … in whatever dimension we find ourselves … than we would otherwise experience.

He has talked about regular twin flame relationships … What you might think of as two hearts beating as one, à la popular literature. He also talks about ‘opposite’ twin flames, where one absolutely hates what the other loves. In the context of Ascension, that might mean one twin flame is gung-ho into multidiming, and the other would very much prefer the status quo. Which leads to some interesting love-hate electromagnetics.

His point is it does not matter which type of twin flame relationship we may be enjoying … or enduring. When it comes right down to it, it is all a question of electromagnetics. There is an electromagnetic circuit between us and our twin flame.

TWIN FLAME ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD

Just to get a general idea of ‘opposite’ twin flame EMF wiring, imagine a magnetic field …

Now, imagine that you are the blue sphere, and your twin flame is the red sphere. You, the blue sphere, are being constantly bombarded with signals … sometimes conscious telepathic signals, but largely unconscious signals that affect your gut brain … and these signals are emanating from your ‘opposite’ twin flame.

This can be the most galling experience, the feeling of being at the effect of someone else’s thoughts and emotions. It is good to keep in mind, though, that polarities can reverse any time, which then puts our ‘opposite’ twin flame at the effect of our own subconscious thoughts and emotions. This we may fail to notice, since the ‘takeover’ is taking place on a subconscious … or possibly unconscious … level.

On waking up from deep sleep, for instance, those who are clairaudient can sense what subconscious input they’ve received from an ‘opposite’ twin flame during the night, but not what subconscious ‘output’ they’ve sent to their opposite twin flame, who may be feeling equally put-upon.

STAND-ALONE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD

With proper rewiring, we can achieve a ‘truer’ version of our personal electromagnetic field. It looks like this …

So how do we get from the energy configuration of the first picture, where we’re basically at the effect of someone else’s subconscious mind, to the truer, more self-contained configuration of the second picture?

REWIRING BY WALKING IN NATURE

The first thing to do is to walk outdoors as much as possible every day. This will help dispel the distortions in our electromagnetic field … what you might call ‘short circuits’ … and prepare our EMF to be in stand-alone status. Expect painful thoughts, feelings and memories to surface as you walk. Do not pay any attention to them, though. This just how your senses register the process as your EMF short-circuits flare up and your EMF adjusts to that of New Earth. The simple act of walking in nature achieves this rewiring process.

Just before a rewire, the twin flame chatter can get very intense. Fears can arise that you are losing your mind. In a sense, this is true … You are losing an old EMF configuration … But you are gaining a new one, in which your mind will function better. Naturally, fears will come up.  It is good to feel trust and faith during this process. These emotions will get us through with the least difficulty.  Whatever you are hearing in your mind, know in your heart that all is well …

A REWIRING SHORTCUT

As this rewiring process has been taking place with me, I have tried a shortcut that helps a little. Maybe it will help you too. Here is the technique …

Lie down on your back on the floor or on your bed. Do not put a pillow under your head. Make sure that your body is completely horizontal, and completely relaxed.

In an opposite twin flame relationship, one side of the body becomes more entangled, electromagnetically, because of the constant interaction with the other twin flame. And one side of the body becomes less entangled. If you have not already noticed this, you now need to determine which side is which.

Outstretch one arm on the floor at right angles to the body, and place your Awareness very single-mindedly on your outstretched palm. If the twin flame chatter increases, then you have extended the ‘more-entangled-side’ arm by mistake. Bring that arm back by your side, extend the other arm along the floor at right angles to your body, and concentrate your Awareness single-mindedly on the newly extended palm.

With luck, you will find, as did I, that concentrating on this ‘less-entangled-side’ palm decreases the volume of, or else creates a sense of distance from, the twin flame chatter. So if the chatter begins to decrease in volume, or if you begin to feel a mental distance from it, Just lie comfortably on the ground, and concentrate on the extended weak-side palm.

What happened for me when I tried this defies description. The rewiring process continued for several hours. So if the process begins to work for you, be patient. Trust in the outcome. Know that all is well.

PREVIEW OF COMING ATTRACTIONS: THE DISENTANGLED LIFE

Interaction between people after rewiring is completely different from the twin-flame dynamic. It is more like this …

When two people have ‘stand alone’ electromagnetic fields, their EMFs remain relatively intact, even when they are physically near each other. However, the ‘flavor’ of one person’s EMF influences the overall EMF of a nearby person, or a person visualized. It’s more like an overall, homogeneous ‘love in’… Well, not in the personal sense; electromagnetically speaking.

This may sound outré, even off-putting, but it’s actually lots of fun; a very high experience. Uplifting and loving on a deeply personal level. Something to look forward to, as fog loves sun, as the shore loves the ocean, as time and space love the timeless, spaceless Source of All. We do not know it, we cannot imagine it, we sense it but dimly. We are all just on the verge of experiences wonderful beyond measure.

Dear Ones,

EACH OF US HAS MANY TWIN FLAMES

I have an unusual notion about twin flames, otherwise known as Soul mates. I have a feeling that each of us has many twin flames … certainly in the different dimensions, and quite possibly here on Earth. Hardly linear thinking, right? But my notion of twin flames is that they are folks who are specially ‘keyed’ to assist us in karmic clearing. ‘Keyed’ is probably not the right word, as it implies that ‘someone’ did ‘something’ to our twin flames to make them suitable. That’s not exactly what I mean. Rather, they have had past life experiences that cause their unconscious minds and emotions to react in such a way that they trigger our own unconscious ‘speckles.’ So then we can get a better grasp of what needs to be cleared from our aura.

PUTTING KARMA CLEARING ON FAST FORWARD

So when I think of twin flames, I think of karma clearing, on fast forward. Not romance. I realize this point of view flies in the face of convention. it may not match your own thoughts on the topic, but that’s all ok. My feeling is, many points of view make the world more interesting.

Seems to me that natal families, romantic relationships, housemate groups, and ashram or kibbutz living are other ways to put karma clearing on fast forward. This because our speckles, according to the natural laws of the Universe, attract into our lives that which will clear them.

So, missing the twin flame or Soul mate connection doesn’t mean we miss the karma clearing boat. Twin flames are just one of many ways in which our speckles become painfully clear (and consequently, can be consciously cleared).

Twin Flames: Reuniting Ego with God-Self . by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

I had a rough night, one of the highlights being an up-close-and-personal look at the frankly unappealing construct of lower Ego. Apparently when we fell from the fifth dimension, we remembered that ‘I’ am one with All, but the definition of ‘I’ shifted from the Divine Spark to Ego. Cannot wait to get out into the sunlight and let the whole mental thing dissolve in the morning air.

But before that, would you not know it, while drinking my coffee I read a post from Amara Tia Ann. It is a Valentine’s Day gift for all of us who are searching for that Special Someone somewhere outside ourselves. Ann’s meditation is to reunite our Ego with our God-self. Now there is a twin flame relationship like no other! (1)

Here is my hope and my blessing: May you experience the joy of uniting Ego and God-self, now and forever. Happy Valentine’s Day!
