You may know that the Gulf of Alaska stands between my own view of Ants and that of the world of science. Here is an acrid discussion that highlights the Great Divide.
My testiness in this Google AI session had to do with insomnia the night before, due to battle plans by the Argentine Ants … which knew Sunday to be the day when many Angelenos go to church. This, the Argentine Ant Drone Leadership felt, offered their Worker Ant Armies an ideal opening for invading the living space in my home, and in the homes of my neighbors.
They had been hatching battle plan after battle plan all night long, and debating what might be the most successful, house by house.
Google AI was not on my side.I was dispirited and about to face the odds singlehandedly.
Here it is Sunday again, a month later. It has been another night with very little sleep, and for similar reasons. So I thought to publish this Q&A.
These are the questions I asked Google AI …

- Do the Argentine Ants in Los Angeles know that today is a day of rest?
- But Argentine Ants are excellent telepaths and also are very good at mind control of the humans whose homes they invade! Surely they must know that today is Sunday and that Sunday is a day of rest!
