INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

This is about a walk at Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains, and about how the Songbirds warned me that a Mountain Lion was stalking me.

The trouble with Mountain Lion lingo is that they, like most predators, talk very, very quietly.

I guess the Songbirds, of necessity, have extra sharp ears. I guess they like me. If they did not, I figure they wouldn’t warn me about the approach of apex predators.

On the other hand, they are far from being at an advantage with regard to size. It is understandable to me that they try hard to assuage the bad tempers of the apex predators, especially in instances where they help out a primate such as I.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“The Songbirds That Saved Me”
By Alice B. Clagett

The video clip that starts here is uncut.
I had just heard a ‘leap, leap’ sound
from near the rock formation top left.

Mountain Lion [sneakily, quietly]: I will come
down the mountain right now. I will eat her all up.
Father Mountain Lion [far away, on the high
mountain behind this hill – prompting]:
RIGHT! You will eat her all up.

Scrub Jay: Right, RIGHT!
[and simultaneously to Alice]: Watch OUT!

Mountain Lion [quizzically]: O-KAY! Okay.
So I plan to eat you ALL up RIGHT NOW.
Father Mountain Lion [prompting]:
So what if I do that!

Were those warning shots? Who from, I wonder?!
Or maybe a truck on the bridge?

Bird: LOOK OUT! They’re RIGHT OVER THERE.

Mountain Lion [playfully]: What’s her name?
Father Mountain Lion: Her name is Alice.

Two Songbirds are concerned that the
Mountain Lions know my name. They say
the Mountain Lions say she should keep
her name secret.
Mountain Lion [playfully]:
We’re going to eat Alice. We’re going to eat Alice.
Songbird [mockingly]: SHE’S quite big!
Mountain Lion [playfully]: We’re going to eat her
great big body up. That’s what we’re going to do.

Songbird or Cricket?: Tell her about that backpack.
They won’t eat her if she has that backpack on.
They won’t eat her if she has that backpack on.
Tell her to tell them about that BACK-pack.

Mountain Lion: Okay. She has a backpack on.

Scrub Jay to Mountain Lion: RIGHT!

Mountain Lion [pensively]:
Right. RIGHT. What does that backpack mean?
My Mother told me not to eat anyone with a
BACK-pack. It might be right difficult to gulp them
down because the backpack gets in the way.

House Finch: Right, Right, RI-I-I-IGHT!

Mountain Lion: J-s-s Christ,
What am I hunting for?

Scrub Jay: Right, RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT!

Alice [whispering]: There’s a Mountain Lion
right over there! Right there! Young one.

Mountain Lion: I am NOT a young one!
I am a BIG boy! YES, I AM.
I am really big and tall and handsome.
Father Mountain Lion [pleased]: I’ll be.
That’ll be the way My Son talks.
My Son is talking very well.
Mountain Lion [gratefully]: Father, THANK you
very much for that comment.

Alice to Readers: It’s a girl Mountain Lion. She said, ‘My
Momma told me never to attack a hiker with a backpack.’
Thank goodness I have my backpack on, huh?

Father Mountain Lion [pleased]: No, it’s not.
It’s not a GIRL Mountain Lion.
It is my grown-up, handsome-as-my-SELF SON!

Alice to Readers (speaking inaccurately): It’s a young
girl Mountain Lion over there.

Alice to Readers: Who warned me was one of the
Songbirds.

Alice to Songbirds: Thank you, Songbirds.
Father Mountain Lion [gruffly]: I DON’T thank you.

Alice to Songbirds: Thank you, Songbirds …
Thank you, thank you, THANK you!
Songbirds: STOP that! Stop that!

Alice to Songbirds: Thank you, thank you, THANK you,
thank you!

Alice to Songbirds: Good, good, good, good day!
GOOD day! THANK you, Songbirds!

Alice to Songbird: Thank YOU, [illegible] Bird.
Alice to Readers: THAT one. I don’t know if you
saw it. It was right here?

Alice to Readers: It said, “It was ME!”
House Finch: IT didn’t do that much!
Alice to the other Bird: Thank you!

Alice to this other Bird: Where did you go?
House Finch [to the left, melodically]: RIGHT here!
Another Songbird: Very good!
Scrub Jay: I helped too!

Songbirds are expressing that they did NOT help
me. They are hoping the Mountain Lions will not
be angry with them.

Alice to Readers (continuing): … you can’t see it very well.
It’s very good at camouflaging itself.
House Finch [laughing]: It WASN’T THAT Bird!
It was the House Finch!
Other Songbirds aver that this is so.
Father Mountain Lion [repeating]: It wasn’t THAT
Bird. It was the silly old House Finch.
I’ll re-MEM-ber that thing.
[Alice: Uh-oh! I pray that brave House Finch will be
safe and blessed with all the very best blessings!]
Alice to Readers: It’s right here, the Bird
that saved me, but …
Alice to Scrub Jay: Thank you! Such a good
camouflager!

Alice to Readers: There it is!
Alice to Scrub Jay: Thank you, beautiful Bird!

Alice to Scrub Jay (continuing): Thank you
very much! SUCH a good Bird!
Thank you! Thank you!
House Finch to another House Finch [tittering]:
She thinks it saved her! ‘Thank you very much!’

Alice to Scrub Jay: Anything I can do for you,
just let me know! Okay?
Scrub Jay to Alice: Ri-i-i-ight!

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“A Talk: Baby Owls ~ Squirrel ~ Raven ~ Hummingbirds ~ Big Spiders and Small Spiders ~ Mosquitoes ~ Songbird”
Read by Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones. It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I found out some things
about the Owl Babies today.

Apparently, there are Owl Babies out past the backyard and also near the front driveway.

And some off-putting things have been happening in the house here with regard to those Owl Babies.

When I walk outside, it stops.

But when I’m in the house, it starts up again.

And it seems what has happened is that the Mother Owl told the Baby Owls that they must not say anything.

So they’ve learned to cast their voices into my Peace Dove so that it seems that he is doing the talking instead of them.

So then predators that might otherwise kill the Baby Owls are instead directed to the Peace Dove which is safely domiciled inside my house.

The problem with this is that the things that the Baby Owls want to say are flowing through the mind of the Peace Dove, who feels responsible for them.

And so far, even though he’s a great diplomat, he’s been unable to persuade them not to do this.

Okay. All right.

So, what voices are they casting?

What thoughts are they casting into the mind and through the mind of the Peace Dove?

Well, it turns out that some of the people on the street have been leaving their televisions on when they fall asleep at night.

And the Owls are night Birds, okay? And as the Babies’ Mother hunts for Mice and other food for them, they’re free to listen to the television shows that can be heard with their acute hearing in the houses around the neighborhood.

And it turns out that the type of programming they’re listening to or hearing promotes the notion of verbal harassment and instigation of anger in people by other people.

And [the Baby Owls] take the place [of] … they attempt to behave as if they were the people on the television shows not knowing that in real life if we did this we wouldn’t even have families or roommates or work associates because we would be so aggravating they wouldn’t want to have anything to do with us.

Okay. So what’s happening is they’re taking the characters … the harassing verbally abusive, angry characters

They’re hoping to create an argument characters from the television shows and pretending that they’re them and placing those thoughts in the Peace Dove.

They think it’s outrageously funny.

They’re drolly amused.

They’re like the the worst possible trolls on Reddit, you know, which has totally cruel internet trolls on it, which maybe well be little children learning to become antisocial personalities.

And here we have the Owls learning the same thing.

So what you have to do is you have to figure out what to do about it.

And I don’t know yet, but I’ve explained to Peace Dove, it’s not Peace Dove’s fault … ok? … that I know the difference between thoughts that are Peace Dove’s and the thoughts of other beings that are cast into his mind.

So he’s at ease with that. And he’ll probably come up with our solution … our diplomatic solution regarding casting of thoughts into this house from that Palm Tree so that the Baby Owls can be safe.

Okay? It’s just not right!

I found out some other things about the Owls. For instance, they like Spiders.

They’re friends of the Spiders.

And I have read on Google AI that some of the Lightworkers feel that Spiders are from a certain Star System different from that of many Insects.

And it could well be, I feel, that different sorts of Birds are from different sorts of Star Systems too, or representing the qualities [of beings in a particular Star System].

In other words, we had the initial Birds and now we have great diversity.

We had the initial Insects and now we have great diversity.

And the reason may be that genetic influences occurred through, say, the cosmic dust from different Star Systems that created this great diversity that we see on Earth today.

And the question is, could it possibly be that the Owls and the Spiders evolved with similar predatorial instincts and with a similar notion about black magic and an understanding … an innate understanding … of black magic techniques derived from the cosmic dust from a certain Star System?

So, I’ll be looking into that just to find out what other Lightworkers and what the esoteric lore have to say about that.

And I’ll be putting that probably in the wonderful worldclass WordPress post that is associated with the YouTube video that you’re now viewing.

So you’ll find that on “Awakening with Planet Earth,” https://awakeningwithplanetearth.com ..

See you there.

Watch out for the Owls meantime.

They’re not the warm cuddly beings that they’re portrayed as being … But then, what is?

Oh! I told the Cat … my Sekhmet
Cat … Oreo Shoes Cat, right? …

who is right here …

I told her she was free to stare out the window …  you know, the famous feline stare … to stare out the window and attempt to intimidate the Baby Owls.

But she’s very leery of all this.

She has a theory that the Owls might try to to eat her.

And so far, I’ve been unable to accomplish one-upmanship against the Owls.

So, unless you have a very fierce Tom Cat who likes to stay inside, I don’t think this idea would work for you.

I was continuing the conversation with the Owls just now and I asked the Mother Owl, at what age the babies left the nest and went to find their own food.

And she said, “Five weeks.”

She said, “They have to leave the area, too.”

And then she said, “If they don’t, I’ll eat them.”

And the babies tried to negotiate a different date.

And she said, “All right then, 8 weeks at the most. You have to be gone or or I’ll eat you.”

So, you see, Owls are not the nice cuddly animals that you think they are.

They’re completely different, in their own family upbringing, from human beings.

They’re quite savage little beings.

Last night, using the sitcom programming they’d been listening to all night, they found a way to make me outrageously angry.

It had to do with lying about something to other people regarding me that was in fact something that other people had been doing to me.

And it just really irked me that they accused me in front of a lot of people of doing the very thing that these other people were doing.

And they thought they’d found the key to making me really angry.

Right? But I’m on to them. I’m not going to be triggered like that again.

And in the meantime, they just kept talking and carrying on and being right mean.

And the Mother Owl is, at this point, quite indulgent.

I asked her how old she was and she said 5 years old.

And then the Squirrels who live in a nearby tree picked up the conversation.

They wanted the Owls to stop talking because they don’t want people to look up into the trees and maybe discover their own Babies.

The Squirrels and the Owls are competitors with regard to to living space in the crowns of the trees.

And so they want the Owls to stop talking.

And then Raven woke up and Raven
started telling them, “Shut up!”

So it could be that Raven is not always telling me shut up. Raven might be speaking to the Owls.

Raven might not like the Owls that much because,
you know, they’re very fierce night predators.

That’s possible.

So you know a lot now.

And I’m sure you’re not convinced because the popular media speaks so sweetly about the Owls and about how cuddly and warm they are.

I think, because their feathers look so fluffy as babies, that we have something inside our subconscious minds that makes us feel that they’re really sweet.

That’s what I think.

And that this is very helpful to the Owls, don’t you know, but not so helpful to Lightworkers.

It’s good to keep in mind that Hummingbirds eat Spiders and Gnats and Mosquitoes.

It’s their main source of protein.

And all of these beings are not so cool for human beings.

So from the point of view … keep this under your hat … from the point of view of Star Systems, it seems to me likely that the Hummingbirds come from quite a different Star System than the Owls.

What do you think?

I was talking to the Hummingbirds just now, when I went out to change their nectar, and they would like you … my Readers … and the Owls to know that the type of Spiders they eat are very Small Spiders.

And I spoke then with the Owls who said the type of Spiders they like and have Alliances with are very Large Spiders.

So, the Hummingbirds would like you and the Owls to know that they do not compete with them regarding the Spiders that the Owls like.

They say this is very important for the Owls to know; otherwise the Owls might eat them.

And I agree. We should let everyone know that the Hummingbirds are not enemies of the Owls.

So I went out front to the driveway and Songbird had woken up. and Songbird said out loud, “I wish that you would not speak.”

And I said telepathically, “Why is that?”

And a Songbird said, “Until you stop speaking, they will not go to sleep.”

Songbird was referring to the Baby Owls.

COMMENTS

Shortly after this video was made, at the behest of Father Owl, who had in mind a romantic interlude with Mother Owl, she made the Baby Owls leave the nest.

One of them spent the night in the Pomegranate Tree in the Nature Preserve next to my backyard fence, all the while complaining bitterly.

Then about dawn a Coyote ate him.

As you may imagine, I found that abruptly upsetting, after the constant Baby Owl chatter that had been taking place priorly.

Meantime Mother Owl and Father Owl were setting the stage for a new clutch of Owl eggs.

Q&A from Google AI

I asked Google AI: According to Lightworker Lore, what Star Systems do Owls and Spiders come from?

Google AI said: According to Lightworker and Starseed lore, Owls and Spiders belong to specific cosmic lineages originating from distinct star systems:

  • Owls (Avian Beings): They originate primarily from the Cygnus constellation. Within this lore, owl beings are classified as higher-dimensional Avian starseeds who work closely with the Blue Avians. Their energy is deeply tied to spiritual wisdom, the Akashic records, and cosmic grid work. Some Avian lineages (like the Carians) are also spiritually linked to the Lyra system and outposts in the Orion belt (specifically Alnilam). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Spiders (Spider Kin / Insectoids): They are associated with the Antares star system, falling under the broader classification of Insectoid starseeds. In spiritual lore, the “Spider Kin” are regarded as master alchemists, energetic engineers, and “cosmic weavers” who maintain the grids of karma, fate, and destiny. [1, 2, 3]

If you would like to explore this further, let me know if you want to look into the specific spiritual missions these starseeds have on Earth, or if you want to see how they compare to other prominent lineages like the Pleiadians or Arcturians. [1, 2]

Alice’s Comments: I guess my fellow Lightworkers are not there with that notion of mine that Owls and Spiders might have come from the same Star System. Maybe my Owls are just very odd Owls. Or maybe they are a particular sort of Owl which has an alliance with Large Spiders.

I thought it was Hawks rather than Owls that are keepers of the Akashic Records? That is what the Cooper Hawk I met told me! For more on that, see …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“The Spider and the Fly” by Mary Howitt
Read by Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones. It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I found a book of children’s poems I liked.

I picked some out for you all.

They might not be too well known.

The one I have in mind right now is called “The Spider and the Fly.”

And it’s written by Mary Howitt. H O W I T T.

It was written a long time ago and it goes like this …

“The Spider and the Fly.”

“Will you walk into my parlour?” said the Spider to the Fly,
“‘Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I have many curious things to shew when you are there.”
“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne’er come down again.”

“I’m sure you must be weary, dear, with soaring up so high;
Will you rest upon my little bed?” said the Spider to the Fly.
“There are pretty curtains drawn around; the sheets are fine and thin,
And if you like to rest awhile, I’ll snugly tuck you in!”
“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “for I’ve often heard it said,
They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!”

Said the cunning Spider to the Fly, “Dear friend what can I do,
To prove the warm affection I’ve always felt for you?
I have within my pantry, good store of all that’s nice;
I’m sure you’re very welcome–will you please to take a slice?”
“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “kind sir, that cannot be,
I’ve heard what’s in your pantry, and I do not wish to see!”

“Sweet creature!” said the Spider, “you’re witty and you’re wise,
How handsome are your gauzy wings, how brilliant are your eyes!
I’ve a little looking-glass upon my parlour shelf,
If you’ll step in one moment, dear, you shall behold yourself.”
“I thank you, gentle sir,” she said, “for what you’re pleased to say,
And bidding you good morning now, I’ll call another day.”

The Spider turned him round about, and went into his den,
For well he knew the silly Fly would soon come back again:
So he wove a subtle web, in a little corner sly,
And set his table ready, to dine upon the Fly.
Then he came out to his door again, and merrily did sing,
“Come hither, hither, pretty Fly, with the pearl and silver wing;
Your robes are green and purple–there’s a crest upon your head;
Your eyes are like the diamond bright, but mine are dull as lead!”

Alas, alas! how very soon this silly little Fly,
Hearing his wily, flattering words, came slowly flitting by;
With buzzing wings she hung aloft, then near and nearer drew,–
Thinking only of her brilliant eyes, and green and purple hue;
Thinking only of her crested head–-poor foolish thing! At last,
Up jumped the cunning Spider, and fiercely held her fast.
He dragged her up his winding stair, into his dismal den,
Within his little parlour–-but she ne’er came out again!

And now dear little children, who may this story read,
To idle, silly flattering words, I pray you ne’er give heed:
Unto an evil counsellor, close heart and ear and eye,
And take a lesson from this tale of the Spider and the Fly.

That’s the end.

This is a poem called “The Spider and the Fly” by Mary Howitt.

And this came from a book called “Children’s Poems That Never Grow Old for Little Folks from 6 to 12 years Old.”

Looks like it was compiled by a gentleman named Clement F. Benoit, B E N O I T, and put out in the year 1922.

So, it’s in the public domain.

God bless you all, keep you safe, and be with you through all your days.

In love, Light, and joy, this is Alice B. Clagett.

I Am of the Stars … and you are too!

Come and visit me at “Awakening with Planet Earth” … https://awakeningwithplanetearth.com ..

See you there!

Dear Ones,

Here’s a video about how a Mother Raven loves her children. Then there is a happy gathering of Hummingbirds at their nectar feeders.

Under “More Information” there is intriguing intel on the Star Systems from which Ravens and Hummingbirds derive.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“Raven Mother’s Flight at Dawn ~ Co-Starring the Hummingbirds!”
By Alice B. Clagett

So! I have a story to tell you about daybreak today.

I walked out the front door to greet the daybreak today before the Sun rose over the far horizon.

And I looked up to the Palm Tree across the street and down the block where there are usually some Ravens in the early morning watching the Sun rise, right?

And I saw … far, far above that Palm Tree, flying hard and fast to the east … a Raven.

And I asked the Ravens in the Palm Tree, “Who was that?”

And they said, “That’s our Mother.”

Their Mother raised them earlier this year.

And then they decided to nest here … the young ones. And then the young ones decided to nest here.

And so the Mother and Father went away to find their own place to live.

But it seems that every morning at daybreak, the strong-flying Mother Raven flies past her babies down in the Palm Tree on down the block on the street where I live to make sure that they are okay.

And in the same way, our own Mothers, year after year after they pass on, or if we are far away, may in astral form fly through the heavenly skies to protect and sustain their offspring.

They may not be able to do it in a physical way, but in terms of Heaven’s blessings, there’s nothing better than the blessing of a Mother.

Don’t you think?

God bless you all, keep you safe, and be with you through all your days.

In love, Light, and joy, this is Alice B. Clagett. I Am of the Stars.

The Hummingbirds don’t like this sign-off at all, ” I Am of the Stars.”

The Hummingbirds are only from Earth and our Sun.

Okay, no more complaints [from the Hummingbirds].

Alice (continuing with the sign-off): And so are you!

Alice to Hummingbirds: The Sun! The Sun is our star.

The Sun is a great, great star, is it not?

Wow. What a great star!

And every morning we can see the Sun rise …

… and [in the evening] we can see the Sun set.

So we’re the children … we’re the children of our star!

Way cool. Way cool.

Aren’t you beautiful?

MORE INFORMATION

I asked Google AI: Do Lightworker lore and esoteric lore say from what star systems hummingbirds and ravens derive?

Google AI said: In modern Lightworker, Starseed, and esoteric lore, there is no universal, single star system associated with hummingbirds and ravens. Instead, their origins are interpreted across various multidimensional and celestial perspectives rather than a rigid “canonical” system:

  1. The Avian Starseed Connection

In cosmic lore, all birds on Earth—including ravens and hummingbirds—are broadly believed to carry the energetic imprint of the Avian star race (or Bird People). [1, 2]

  • According to multi-dimensional channelings, the Avian beings originally emanated from higher-dimensional levels of the Lyra star system, as well as parts of the Sirius and Orion constellations.
  • These higher-dimensional entities are said to have seeded bird genetics on Earth to act as living frequency holders, anchors of light, and messengers between physical and spiritual realms. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  1. Hummingbirds in Esoteric Lore

Within Starseed and Lightworker circles, hummingbirds are often associated with the Pleiades or Mintaka (a paradise planet in the Orion constellation) due to their high-vibrational, joyful, and lighter energy frequencies. [1, 2]

However, much of the esoteric meaning of the hummingbird is adopted from ancient Earth-based spiritualities rather than deep-space star maps:

  • Mayan Esotericism: The Mayans held that the gods created the hummingbird out of a leftover drop of jade specifically to carry human thoughts and desires to the sun. It is viewed as a messenger of pure cosmic light and love.
  • Shamanic Lore: In Andean and Core Shamanism (which heavily overlaps with modern Lightworker teachings), the hummingbird represents the archetype of the North. It symbolizes the epic soul journey, adaptation, and the ability to extract the “sweet nectar” of life even during difficult times. [1, 2]
  1. Ravens in Esoteric Lore

Ravens possess a deep, heavy, and mysterious frequency that esoteric teachers typically align with Sirius (associated with ancient hidden wisdom, portals, and mystery schools) or the shadow-and-light integration aspects of Orion. [1, 2, 3]

Like the hummingbird, the primary lore for the raven is anchored in ancient mythologies that modern esotericism has absorbed:

  • The Bringer of Light: In Pacific Northwest indigenous creation stories, the Raven is the central figure who steals the sun, moon, and stars from a hidden box and places them into the dark sky to bring light to the universe. Esoteric students view this as a metaphor for a Lightworker bringing consciousness to a dark, unawakened reality.
  • The Alchemical Shadow: In western occultism, Theosophy, and alchemy, the raven’s pitch-black feathers represent the Nigredo phase—the deep, necessary shadow work and spiritual transformation required before one can attain spiritual gold. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

If you are exploring a personal connection to these animals, I can share typical traits of Avian Starseeds or help look into the spiritual meaning of encountering these animals in your daily life. Which would you like to explore?

I asked Google AI: Nigredo?

Google AI said: Nigredo—which translates from Latin as “blackness”—is the very first stage in the ancient art of spiritual and psychological alchemy.

In esoteric lore, alchemy was never just about turning physical lead into gold. It was a metaphor for turning the raw, unrefined human soul into spiritual perfection.

Here is what Nigredo represents and why the raven is its ultimate symbol:

The Concept: Death of the Ego

Nigredo is often called the “Black Sun” or the “dark night of the soul.” It represents a period of intense breakdown, rotting, and dissolution. Before something new and beautiful can be built, the old structure must be completely destroyed.

  • The Process: In a physical alchemical lab, the raw ingredients were heated in a flask until they burned, turned black, and rotted (putrefaction).
  • The Spiritual Meaning: For a person, Nigredo is the painful but necessary collapse of the ego, illusions, and old belief systems. It feels like depression, confusion, or a crisis of faith, but it is actually the soul cleaning house.

Why the Raven is the Symbol of Nigredo

In alchemical texts and illustrations, the raven (or crow) is almost always used to visually represent this stage.

  • Scavengers of the Old: Just as ravens feed on carrion (dead things) in nature, the “spiritual raven” arrives in your life to help consume and clear away the dead, useless parts of your ego and past.
  • Comfort in the Dark: Ravens are completely at home in the dark. In esoteric teachings, the raven represents the courage to look into your own internal darkness—your fears, traumas, and hidden flaws—without running away.

The 4 Main Alchemical Stages

Nigredo is only the beginning. The raven represents the start of a journey that moves from darkness to absolute light:

  1. Nigredo (Blackness): The breakdown, shadow work, and facing the dark. (Symbolized by the Raven)
  2. Albedo (Whiteness): The washing away of impurities, healing, and finding peace. (Symbolized by the Swan or Dove)
  3. Citrinitas (Yellowness): The awakening of spiritual solar energy, wisdom, and transmutation. (Symbolized by the Eagle)
  4. Rubedo (Redness): The final stage of total spiritual gold and integration. (Symbolized by the Phoenix)

When Lightworkers or esoteric practitioners experience a massive, chaotic life upheaval, they will often say they are “in the Nigredo phase”—meaning they are undergoing the deep shadow work required before their spiritual rebirth.

Are you asking because you feel you are currently going through a Nigredo/breakdown phase yourself, or are you more interested in the psychological side of how Carl Jung used these alchemical terms for therapy?

I liked and closed the thread.

I asked Google AI: What types of Insects do Ravens eat?

Google AI said Ravens eat Grasshoppers and Crickets, Beetles and their Larvae, Caterpillars, Stinkbugs and Treehoppers, Cutworms, Dragonflies, Mosquito Larvae, Maggots, Scorpions, and Spiders.

I asked Google AI: What types of Insects do Hummingbirds eat?

Google AI said Hummingbirds eat huge amounts of Insects and Arachnids every day, including Gnats, Moquitos, Fruit Flies, Aphids, Spiders, Small Beetles and Weevils, Mites, Leafhoppers, and Insect Eggs and Larvae.

I liked and closed the thread.

Notes. I left the double quotes off of the beginning and end of Google AI’s response, and kept the double quotes as is within the responses. You will know by the light blue font that these are quotes from Google AI.

If you see purple font, that is being used for a term described in “More Information.”

I am using brown font for my questions in the Q&A. Also, through sparing use of square brackets and brown font, I sometimes change the transcript slightly or add my Comments to it.

AI responses in this website, many of which are in the “AI collaborations’ category, are for informational purposes only and have not been independently verified for accuracy.

In many cases AI responses do not express my point of view precisely, and in some cases, not at all.  But I feel they do apprize me and my Readers of where other Lightworkers and Ascensioneers, as well as Esotericists, Theologians, Psychologists and Psychiatrists stand with regard to my channelings. They also provide brief, well organized responses to queries about commonly known facts.

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

This is a story fraught with emotion. It has to do with a Mantis caught by a Spotted Orbweaver Spider. The Mantis is in a state of suspended animation, His Lady Love stands by, longing to free him. After passing a day and a night in this helpless state, the Mantis falls into a state of despair. Then the Hummingbirds return my heart to a state of joyful presence in the moment.

I have some caveats for you: I did some further reading today, and found that the silken threads from which the Mantis was hanging were not definitively that of the Spotted Orbweaver Spider or that of the Black Widow Spider.

Black Widow Spiders kill Mantises (or vice versa). Spotted Orbweavers quickly immobilize their prey in sticky silken swathing bands or ‘feeding cocoons’. But then later, after the prey is digested (as in the first image on this post) the Spotted Orbweavers may ingest the cocoons for their protein value. The bottom line is this: I am not 100 percent certain what kind of Spider captured the Mantis who stars in this video.

I also found that the very dark color of the eyes of the suspended Mantis likely indicates it had died 12 to 24 hours prior to the time when the video was filmed. The question then is: Could it possibly be that the Mantis was not in a state of suspended animation? Could it be that the spirit of the Mantis was still caught in it’s physical body because of his longing to be with his Beloved?

This morning I went out on the porch and took a look: The suspended Mantis was still hanging under the porch table. The Mantis Beloved that had been on the thermometer on the porch wall was gone.

Could this mean that Mantises have a Wake Ritual for honored members of their clan? You must decide, Dear Reader. What do you think?

. . . . .

Don’t miss the discussion in “More Information” regarding star systems from which Mantises and spiders derive …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“Mantis! The Spider’s Plunder Wrapped in Silken Weapons ~ Praeda Sericorum Telis Involutas ~ Co-starring the Hummingbirds!”
By Alice B. Clagett

[3 October 2026]

Check it out. Another one [another Mantis]. Cool, huh?

Can they ever move fast when they want to! Isn’t it true? Oh!

Spider (in a warning voice like tinfoil or copper foil:
G-d damn it! Do NOT look here!
I am not a Spider. (over and over again)
Spider (anxious womanish voice): Do not look here.
(over and over again)

[7 October 2026]

Alice to Readers: Check this out. The temperature …
Mantis (gruffly amiable tenor voice): All RIGHT!
I am not all that happy about what’s going on down there….

Alice to Readers: Oh, no! It’s … it’s not the temperature!
Mantis: It is a lot nicer up here than that guy is
cavorting around with down there.

Alice to Readers: It’s a Praying Mantis!

Mantis (getting more and more upset; chiding
Squirrel who is not that empathetic):
Have a nice day?! Thank you very much for
going on about that thing.

Mantis in Spotted Orbweaver Spider’s Sticky Web

Alice to Readers: It looks like this poor Praying Mantis got caught in a web.

Alice to Readers: I don’t know what to do because I think
they get a neurotoxin and then they can’t move.
Caught Mantis: I’m in a web! Oh! That is what is
wrong! I didn’t know what was going on.

Caught Mantis: I feel I am in suspended animation.
Alice (whispering): My God!

Caught Mantis: I see you, but I can’t feel anything at all.
I try to touch the Mantis with a twig.
Hummingbird to Alice: He says, “Please don’t do it.”

Caught Mantis (resonant male tenor voice, sadly beseeching):
Would you stay away from me, please? I am
still functioning. All three eyes are still functioning.
Spider (higher, tinny voice, none too empathic):
I have got that you are still there with us.

Alice to Readers: I guess it’s a Black Widow Spider that got it. Poor thing. Too bad.

Check this out.

This is the heat of the day and they’re all hanging around.

Alice to Mantis: What are you supposed to eat?
Mantis (hushed tenor): I eat many important things,
but nothing I want to talk about.
Alice to Mantis: Oh!

[8 October 2026]

Alice to Readers: Hi, everybody!

Yesterday I was very upset that probably the Black
Widow Spider [likely a Spotted Orbweaver Spider
and not a Black Widow Spider]
caught one of the Praying Mantises.

I kind of like those Praying Mantises.

And it seemed that it was hanging in suspended animation from the folding table on the back porch.

And I just, you know, I just I felt it was still alive but completely paralyzed.

And there was nothing I could do about it because the poison had worked on the neurological system of the Praying Mantis and it was just too late to do anything.

And I had some upset over that.

[Songbird is extra special aggravated at
me for talking about this sad subject.
Can you hear him scolding me?]
Alice to Readers: So today I came out
and I took a look and I think …

… it’s all over with now for the Praying Mantis because last night in the night the Spider came out and sucked out all of the fluid from inside its abdomen.

The thing is, I put myself in the place of the Praying Mantis.

Songbird: QUIT IT! (over and over again)
Alice to Readers: And yesterday, as if
it were in a dream, I had heard that
captured Praying Mantis say, …

… “I’m still alive, but I can’t move my legs and I can see.”

And then apparently it tried to see and it said, “I cannot see.”

And it just freaked me out a little because when we’re in that halfway state between being alive and being dead, it’s kind of a helpless situation, you know.

We’re neither here nor there, and we need to just get on with it.

Spiders are quite good at putting their prey into helpless states, you know, and I don’t think they care at all.

They’re very happy about it.

It’s like the meat storage closet in the supermarket, you know, the state that they put them in, except that their meat storage state is not cold.

It’s just a state of suspended animation, if you get me.

So unfortunately, being a telepath and all, I put myself in the place of the Praying Mantis and that made for restless dreams in the early part of my sleep cycle last night.

But now it’s very clear to me that the Praying Mantis has moved on, and I can relax from that empathic point of view.

I’ll show you how I found out, in case there’s those among you … which I’m sure there are … who’ve tried as children to revive Insects caught in Spider webs or to free them from the Spider webs … with no doubt, as was the case with me, mixed success.

Caught Mantis: I still can hear you, but I might get cross
with you for fooling around with all this troubling information.

So, here we have the Praying Mantis.
[Oreo Shoes Cat is upset. Can you hear her?
She is saying, “Oh no! Oh no! No! No! No!”]

So, here we have the Praying Mantis.

It looks kind of alive, but if you look
at its tummy, its tummy is thinner.

Somebody’s been sucking the juice out of the inside of its tummy. or else it has dried up overnight. So fortunately it’s dead, you know?
or else it has dried up overnight.
So fortunately it’s dead, you know?
Caught Mantis: What is wrong with my tummy?
His Beloved: Nothing. It is just dried up.
Caught Mantis: Tell her that the Mantis is not dead.
It is just that the tummy is dried up. That
is all that is wrong with my situation right now.
His Beloved: She figured it out.
Caught Mantis: All right then. Thank you very much.

Alice to Mantis’ Beloved: And its mate over here
can stop hanging around and worrying about it
because that Praying Mantis has passed on.
You see? It has already passed on.
The Beloved of the Caught Mantis (utterly distraught,
female tenor): Would you LEAVE ME a- G-dd-mned -lone?!
Dharm Dee, passed on is NOT what is going on!
Christ Jesus! WHAT is she talking about?!

The Beloved of the Caught Mantis (utterly distraught, female
tenor): Why can’t she help?
Caught Mantis (emotionally stressed, deeper voice):
The conversation is over. We have to do what we CAN. That is
all. Great GOD! There might be nothing she can do.

Alice to Readers: And this Praying Mantis can stop
worrying about it too because that
brave Mantis has passed on.

Alice to Mantis: You have this kind of
keep on guard [to make sure this
won’t happen to you.]
Caught Mantis (emotionally stressed, deeper voice):
There might be nothing she can do.
His Beloved (crying): There must be
SOME-thing she can do!
Caught Mantis: Great God! Why would that
‘all right’ thing be passing through her mind?

Caught Mantis (despairing): God d-mn her for
talking about things that are not true!
Alice to Readers: In love, Light, and joy, this is Alice B.
Clagett. I Am of the Stars … and so are you.

Oh, I must go.

Alice to Readers: I have to replace a Hummingbird feeder nectar.
[What this Mantis is saying spans the
next few captions …]
Caught Mantis (despairing): I really don’t
know WHAT to SAY. I really don’t know why
this is happening to my family and all the beings
in that part of the world which we are living in right now.

The young ones have their own feeder because they’re a little bit put off by the big Anna’s Hummingbirds.

So, there’s a small Hummingbird feeder and a large Hummingbird feeder.

Caught Mantis (despairing): I really don’t
know WHY this is happening to us. I don’t
know why we are in this situation.
Alice to Readers: And the smaller Hummingbirds,
which I would hasten to state are
equally beautiful and …

… elegant in the air, have asked me
to add more nectar to their feeder.
[What the Mantis says here spans several more captions ..]
Caught Mantis (despairing): I hope to God
we are able to survive THAT HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE STUFF that is going on with all of us!

I must go.

See you guys later.

[Hummingbirds]

[Hummingbirds]
Hummingbird (sweetly): Please don’t talk to the people
about sad stuff! Sad stuff doesn’t have anything to do
with people who inhabit the fifth dimension.
[Alice to Readers: Could be the Hummingbirds are really
in the 11th Dimension … that of love, Light and joy!]
Alice to Readers: These ones …

… are larger than those at that
other feeder. Those other ones
were really small.
Hummingbird to Alice: Let’s see!

Alice (repeating Hummingbird):
We have to take a look at that.
Hummingbird to smaller Hummingbird:
Yes, you ARE smaller.
Alice to Hummingbirds: Oh, I see.
Hummingbird to Alice: Yeah, They ARE smaller. [illegible] Oh, wow!

Alice (repeating Hummingbird):
We have to take a look at that.
Hummingbird to smaller Hummingbird:
You are very pretty children!
Alice to Hummingbirds: Oh, I see.

Hummingbird to Alice: Yeah, They are quite a bit smaller.
Alice to Hummingbird. I see that they are happy children.
Yeah, they are. Oh, wow!

Hummingbird to Raven: Excuse me!
Dharm Dar is taking a picture of OUR family!
Raven (lightly sarcastic): Ha ha ha ha!

Star Systems from Which Mantises and Spiders Derive

Introduction. There is a head-on collision between the story in this post and the Google AI information below.

Specifically, Google AI states that Mantises “… are a calm, non-emotional, deeply neutral race.” Yet the story in the post you are reading exhibits very deep feelings in the Mantis and His Beloved, while the Mantis is held captive in the Karmic Trap woven round him by the Spotted OrbWeaver Spider.

I don’t know what to say about that, except that to me, the Hummingbirds at the end of the video offer the Lightworker Eleventh Dimensional Joy in the moment as a way to escape the Realm of Duality here on Earth.

For more on that see my blog category: 11 – Logos – Solar body (Light – love – joy) ..

. . . . .

I can see a parallel between the story in this post and the situation of a Lightworker such as I whose Dearest Love has been captured by a Black Magic Cult That Kills and turned into a Donkey or Chwal.

The Donkey that does the Black Magic Cults bidding would be like the Mantis tightly bound in the Spider’s Silken Weapons. Don’t you feel it to be true?

Google AI Q and A: Spider and Mantis Star Systems
27 September 2026

I asked Google AI: From whence are insects other than social insects said to derive?

Google AI said [excerpt]: In Lightworker, Ascensioneer, and Starseed cosmology, insects on Earth are divided into two completely different spiritual categories. While social, hive-minded insects (like ants and bees) are viewed as anchors for cooperative Arcturian geometry, solitary and non-social insects are traced back to entirely different multidimensional origins. [1]

Within these belief systems, non-social insects, arachnids, and mantises are classified as physical reflections of highly advanced, non-humanoid Insectoid and Mantis Star Nations. Rather than being primitive bugs, they are viewed as anchors for specific types of cosmic intelligence originating from the following realms: [1]

  1. The Mantis Sentinels & Genetic Architects (Primarily 7D to 9D)

Among non-social insects, the praying mantis holds a legendary status in Starseed lore. [1]

  • The Cosmic Origin: High-vibrational Mantis Beings (often called Mantar) are said to reside in very high dimensions, frequently operating out of the Antares star system, Orion, and the Zeta Reticuli neighborhood. [1]
  • Their Earthly Anchors: Earth’s praying mantises are considered direct, physical miniature conduits for these entities.
  • The Mission: In Lightworker cosmology, Mantis beings are the “Master Geneticists” and “Code Weavers” of the universe. They are a calm, non-emotional, deeply neutral race that manages the evolutionary blueprints and DNA libraries of different planets. When human Starseeds see or connect with a praying mantis on Earth, it is often interpreted as a sign that their spiritual DNA or “lightbody” is undergoing a major upgrade or calibration. [1]
  1. The Spider Kin & The Cosmic Weavers (Orion & Andromeda)

Though arachnids are biologically distinct from insects, New Age cosmology groups spiders into a similar extraterrestrial lineage known as the Spider Kin. [1]

  • The Cosmic Origin: Spiritual networks often map the origin of spider energy to specific sectors of Orion and high-density realms within the Andromeda Galaxy. [1, 2]
  • Their Earthly Anchors: Solitary spiders, especially those that weave complex, mathematically precise webs.
  • The Mission: Spiders anchor the frequency of the Cosmic Loom—Fate, Karma, and Destiny. Unlike heart-centered Pleiadians, the Spider Star Nations operate from absolute neutrality and raw sovereignty. They do not view the universe through human morality (good vs. bad); they simply see the threads of energetic cause and effect. They are viewed as masters of transmuting intense trauma into wisdom, teaching humans how to weave their own independent timelines. [1]
