Dear Ones,
A few hours ago there was an X4 Solar Flare, likely but not definitely from Sunspot 4274 which is at the far righthand side of the image of the Sun right now. It the Solar Flare is from Sunspot 4274, then I figure there is a good chance that the CME (if there is one) will impact Earth.
I see there was an S1 radiation storm just then, and that might to some extent support the notion of a possible Earth-directed CME. Time will tell. Here is what SWPC/NOAA … https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/alerts-watches-and-warnings … has on this event so far [bolding is mine] …
