INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Today I took a look at noted psychologist Carl Yung’s work on the theory of individuation with a notion of comparing it to my own work, and to my role as Lightworker, and to its possible helpfulness to those who hope to attain expanded Awareness for enjoyment of New Life on New Earth during this time of Ascension for Earth and all the beings under her care.

To be completely truthful I had not given Yung’s work more than a cursory glance priorly on the theory that deep study of traditional psychology might stifle my hope to channel useful innovations in the world’s understanding of the Mind … and of techniques to Master the Mind.

I had hoped to find a way to transform our Awareness that might easily be accomplished by all Lightworkers and by all those now involved in the process of Ascension. The outcome of this expectation of mine is my course on how to master the mind that begins here …

Currently that course is free for all my Readers to read or view and to undertake as a part of their own lives.

Getting back to Carl Jung’s work … As you may know, Yung had a theory called ‘individuation’ that is part of the experience that I as a Lightworker have had. Sometimes people who have not yet started on the journey to individuation sense that individuated people are different and think of them as mentally ill. I feel they may do this because they feel the social norm to be mentally sound, and people outside the norm to be mentally unsound.

Carl Yung himself, along with psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, was, I feel, a person who had been through the process of individuation. Most people feel these two people to be leaders in their field, so Yung’s idea that individuation prepares a person for an exceptional role in the world … despite the fact that the process makes the person different from many other people … can be seen to hold some merit.

I found a video online a description of Carl Yung’s theories about individuation …

It is easy listening and, I feel, a good explanation of individuation. I like that the video is upbeat and inspiring. I note there are quite a few typos in the online text, but I feel this to be a relatively minor issue.

There is a more important issue with regard to Yung, I feel. As a Lightworker, I feel his theories are overly dependent on the left brain … on analytical and logical thinking. As well, there is too much emphasis on negative thoughts and emotions.

Lightworkers emphasize positive emotions such as love, Light, joy, appreciation, and gratitude. We don’t dwell on negative emotions.

Then as to brain function, we are whole brain thinkers, not left or right brain thinkers. What we think often has to do with channeling … bringing into our own minds, energy fields, and bodies information from higher sources … for instance, from beings on our Ascension team, or even from God Himself. We do this through our Awareness, and our willingness to ‘ask up’ … to ask the Unknown within and around us questions for which our personal experience and our own minds have no answers.

Those are some of the differences between Yung’s notions about individuation and the Lightworkers’ experience of expanded Awareness, of Awakening, of Ascending to New Life on New Earth.

In comparing my work with that of Jung, I see from the above-referenced video that he looked into the topics of …

USEFULNESS TO LIGHTWORKERS OF CARL JUNG’S CONCEPT OF INDIVIDUATION

It is good to keep in mind that the esoteric lore is replete with references to individuation … which that lore sometimes terms ‘individualization’. In the esoteric lore, as I recall, individualization is felt to be a state of Awareness attained by human beings, as opposed to other animals. The rationale is, as I recall, that human beings have individual Souls and that other animals have group Souls.

I myself like Yung’s concept of individuation better, as I feel many human beings prior to Earth’s Ascension lived life somewhat unconsciously, rotely even, by adhering to social norms out of fear of appearing to feel different.

I like the above-reference videos for Lightworkers who are taking some heat from folks ‘out there in the world’ who feel they are ‘mentally ill’ or ‘mentally disturbed’. If the truth be told, some folks will verbally barbecue everyone they feel to be different from themselves.

When we experience this untutored and hurtful response to Ascension teaching we can bring up that it is a form of verbal abuse. I say this because the term ‘verbal abuse’ is PC these days, and might help end the roasting thoughts that are cast our way.

On the other hand, slinging back to an unschooled person the PC term ‘verbal abuse’ is, I feel a negative response.

For close friends, one might try: That hurt me. “Please don’t use that term again.”

For antisocials or narcissists, one might try: “Every time you speak like that to me, I will walk away and absent myself from your company for 30 minutes!” … I got this idea here …

For psychologists and psychiatrists … especially those hired by us … one need traipse about Carl Yung’s concept of individuation warily, as it is clear many psychologists and psychiatrists are not yet on the journey toward individuation.

What they have not experienced they may not be able to recognize in us. Consequently they may … through ignorance of the individuated quantum leap of Awareness … find themselves trapped in the notion that we have fallen into mental illness. As their notions about us carry some weight in the world, it is important to exercise due diligence in deciding whether to consult them, whom to consult, and how to interact with them.

For our fellow Lightworkers and for those on the Ascension track, one might use Carl Yung’s concept of the journey toward individuation as a first step in explaining Lightworker and Ascension lore. That is my intent in the current post.

CONCLUSION

In general, I feel we might use Jung’s understanding of the process of individuation to prepare those on the Ascension path for what they will be encountering during their Ascension process.

… and it took a left-hand turn. It was supported, I guess, by the other tree. And it went off this way [pans left]. And the other tree strengthened its intersection area there [see above photo], and then sprouted some other branches. Interesting, huh? … kind of a joining together of the two trees. I guess sometimes they just do that. They say that they join together underground too, sometimes. Those are other kinds of trees, such as aspens. Maybe for these oaks too …

Maybe there is a subterranean passageway maze that connects all of them, as there is with human beings, in the subconscious mind … only in the case of the trees, the connection is physical.

‘CASTING’ OF THOUGHT FORMS TO CHILDREN BY THEIR PARENTS

On the clair planes, I have observed this act of ‘casting’ thought forms in a number of contexts. One oft encountered context is that of a parent and a child, where the parent casts his or her thought forms into the child’s head, and may psychically hear them there, or prevail upon the child to speak them, although the child is too young to do so.

‘CASTING’ OF THOUGHT FORMS TO PETS BY THEIR OWNERS

The same applies to pet owners and their pets. It is relatively easy to cast thought forms into a pet, and so to force it to act in a particular way, emotionally or physically. This ‘casting’ is resented by pets, which rightly consider their feelings and rudimentary thoughts to be the proper residents of their earthly forms.

I find pets have more sense than humans in this regard. Thus I suggest, to remain on good terms with one’s pet, it is important not to intrude on its mental field. As well, I feel the notion pet owners sometimes have, that their pets are close to being human, has to do with thought casting.

Pets are often empaths, and reflect the emotional energy of their owners; that is another story altogether. As an empath, I feel empathic resonance with a pet to be the normal way of things (as might be the case between two humans).

‘CASTING’ OF THOUGHT FORMS BY GUARDIANS TO GROWN CHILDREN WITH NO HIGHER MENTAL BODY

In the case of children born with a malfunction of the Higher Mental Body, and for whom higher thought cannot manifest in the physical form, I clairly find it sometimes true that the guardian(s) of the grown child may cast their thought forms so repetitively and forcefully into the relatively empty brain of the grown child that the child will voice these thoughts and act upon them.

This I clairly find to be true when the ‘casting’ guardian is in the physical presence of the grown child; but the foreign nature of the thought forms becomes apparent when the guardian leaves the room. As soon as the guardian is absent, I clairly find that the grown child quickly reverts to its unsophisticated mental and physical behavior (which is similar to the Lower Mental Body behavior of a toddler, only influenced by the presence of sexual hormones in the grown child).

THE MASK OF PERSONALITY IN THE GROWN CHILD WITH NO HIGHER MENTAL BODY

I have clairly run into a case where such a grown child, a man, changes personality with each new guardian.

When he was jailed with a ruthless antisocial who was off-and-on demonically obsessed, the grown child began to manifest the psychic powers of the antisocial’s demon.

When the grown child later married to an intellectually sophisticated but ruthless woman, his words and behavior reflected her well developed Higher Mental Body and her criminal history.

But when his guardian was a loving, mild-mannered, ethical woman, he became docile, loving, and law abiding. This I feel to be indirect proof of the theory of ‘casting’ thought forms; proof which needs must be tested in the laboratory of life on the physical plane. Then we will know for sure about it.

COUPLES RELATIONSHIPS IN THE ATLANTEAN AGE

In today’s Atlantean Age, many couples relationships manifest as patriarchal domination. In observing couples interactions on the physical plane I have found, more often than not, that the women are more empathic than the men; that the men assume it is their mission to make the women’s minds like their own, and consequently repeatedly ‘cast’ their thoughts into their significant others’ minds, as in the above drawing. The women, more often than not, will be savvy to the need to parrot the men’s thoughts back to them, in order to maintain the relationship.

THE IDEAL COUPLES RELATIONSHIP

My own feeling is that men and women in relationship can, through patient communication give-and-take, develop empathy together, and respect for each other’s Higher and Lower Mental Bodies, so that each can manifest his or her own unique energy field and still remain synchronously and contentedly in relationship.

Casting Out of Demons by Christ

I note also that Christ’s casting out of demons, mentioned in the Bible, in some cases might have constituted transformation to the Light of foreign thought forms cast into the afflicted person. In other cases it might have involved thought forms created by the person; and in some cases, an evil entity may have been involved.

I see here …

… that Jung had a notion of instincts and archetypes, and also a concept of the collective unconscious.  I like these ideas of his, as these are topics I have been looking into as well. See my blog category: Archetypal images

While he has many good and original concepts, and his work is universally acclaimed as groundbreaking, I note, by way of contrast to my own thinking on the topic, that his appears to be a static, object-oriented model of the personal and collective unconscious.

Only recently did it begin to become clear to me that this object-driven world view was a feature of male ideation prior to Awakening. To awaken, a person removes the object from his thinking; he becomes ‘I Am That Am’. In this way the Self begins to be realized.

Though I am far from expert regarding Jung’s research, I have always felt … well … a little leery of him. In his words I feel a sense of intellect; a notion of classification, list-making, and labeling; a prevalence of causal analysis, together with those flashes of brilliant insight.

From this I derive that his work dealt with integration of the elements of personality, rather than ‘melting’ of the personality into Cosmic Mind.

For those so inclined, I suggest an alternate, more dynamic, and more comprehensive world view may unfold through exploration of the School of Theosophy books compiled by Arthur E. Powell …
