Dear Ones,

Long ago, the ancients of India knew about axiatonal lines, feeder lines of Light, the law that ‘as above, so below,’ the infinitely fine, indestructible pathways of love and Light that connect all of us with the far-flung galaxies. Their name for this was ‘the Diamond Net of Indra.’

There are quite a few references to the Diamond Net of Indra online, but most are under copyright. So I have included here a passage from Wikipedia which is Creative Commons, and then put in links to more information I found helpful.

“The metaphor of Indra’s net of jewels plays an essential role in the Chinese Huayan school, … where it is used to describe the interpenetration … of microcosmos and macrocosmos …. “‘The manner in which all dharmas interpenetrate is like an imperial net of celestial jewels extending in all directions infinitely, without limit. … As for the imperial net of heavenly jewels, it is known as Indra’s Net, a net which is made entirely of jewels. Because of the clarity of the jewels, they are all reflected in and enter into each other, ad infinitum. Within each jewel, simultaneously, is reflected the whole net. Ultimately, nothing comes or goes. If we now turn to the southwest, we can pick one particular jewel and examine it closely. This individual jewel can immediately reflect the image of every other jewel.

“‘As is the case with this jewel, this is furthermore the case with all the rest of the jewels–each and every jewel simultaneously and immediately reflects each and every other jewel, ad infinitum. The image of each of these limitless jewels is within one jewel, appearing brilliantly. None of the other jewels interfere with this. When one sits within one jewel, one is simultaneously sitting in all the infinite jewels in all ten directions. How is this so? Because within each jewel are present all jewels. If all jewels are present within each jewel, it is also the case that if you sit in one jewel you sit in all jewels at the same time. The inverse is also understood in the same way. Just as one goes into one jewel and thus enters every other jewel while never leaving this one jewel, so too one enters any jewel while never leaving this particular jewel….’

This passage offers a quotation from the “Avatamsaka Sutra,” and explains that the diamond net of Indra is a good description of a hologram. The passage then speaks of quantum entanglement, of the holographic nature of reality, and of the instantaneousness of communication. Its description of the images in the spider web dew drops, I feel, implies fractal dispersal, a topic I sometimes discuss.

Matt Kahn is so great! His message here reminded me of a teleseminar with Peggy Black the other day (1), where she said something like: Instead of judging yourself when your heart feels closed, just notice how safe it makes you feel. Then when your heart is open, notice how THAT feels. (2)

To paraphrase this short section, if we cast the searchlight of discrimination on our recollections, then this is the ‘demon net’ … but sitting still, and ceasing to discriminate, is the mark of the Dharma [what the Sikhs define as ‘the path of righteousness’].

ASTRAL STORIES AND UNCONSCIOUS DISCRIMINATION

Amongst the astral stories now circulating in the clair realm, the ‘searchlight of discrimination’ might also refer to the recurring video clips circulating through the Unconscious Thought Cloud of the World. Terms like “You are a homosexual,” “You floor me,” “You have no personality,” “Love on the internet is not for me,” “We have no relationship,” and with regard to all the world religions and their beliefs, the strident assertion that the next guy’s religious beliefs are not true.

ON USING THE POWER OF DISCRIMINATION

The thing about all these worldwide samskaras or ‘malspeak’ is that they unconsciously perpetuate the notion that I and other are two separate things. That anything different from my beliefs is false … when we all know, in our hearts, that beliefs are a mere mental sketch of the underlying Reality of All that Is. This underlying Reality is but One, not dual. There is One fabric of our Universe, One Truth, One experience of supreme joy, unconditional love, universal peace. All is One.

Here is a paraphrase of this short section: There are five kinds of thought: knowing (whether our knowledge be correct or incorrect), imagining, the deep state of sleep, and memory. Each of these prevents us from realizing the Self. The neutral witness is not attached to these thoughts. Recognizing each, he cultivates only this one: correct knowing.

So, using the power of Discrimination to cultivate correct knowing is A-Ok, from the perspective of Advaita.

So, on the way to purity of beingness, there are many sorts of discrimination that must be set aside so as to move into the realm of Right Thinking.

HOW TO OVERCOME OUR DEMON ARMIES

Buddhist texts speak of our ‘Demon Armies.’ This is not just a colorful descriptive term; in fact, it’s an obnoxious reality in the lower planes of the dreamtime realm (the fourth dimension).

What with the Awakening and the incredible quality of the new Incoming Light, these days more and more folks are awakening to the wibbly-wobbly reality of the dreamtime realm, while they are still anchored in physical form here on Earth.

So it is good to consider the causes of our association with the Demon Armies, and to learn how we can disengage from them.

To which I responded (best guess): “Hi, Gerardo, Thanks for this interesting question, it really made me think! I’ve been paying attention the same way, and have been getting the same feeling…. When you ask that question, did you mean protected from what? Like, what causes it to close? I think maybe it’s that, either in this lifetime or in past lifetimes, we’ve learned to identify certain stimuli …. be they physical sensations or clair sensations … as dangerous.

“For instance, maybe our heart reacted to a certain stimulus by closing tight at a moment of great danger … say, when a sabre-toothed tiger attacked. Or when we met a fierce opponent in a war. Or in this lifetime, when something very threatening happened. Or like that.

“So now we’re carrying what they call ‘Soul wounding’ there. Which means, the same or similar stimuli will automatically cause our heart chakra to close. So for me, my practice right now is, as you said, to watch my heart opening and closing. And then to become aware of the stimuli that cause it to close. The theory being, that the awareness itself will break the chain of automatic reactions, and after a while, my heart will be more often open.”

I recently visited Concord, the farm where my mom grew up. Here is a little about how life used to be there, and how it is now. Also, thoughts on how we might live in harmony with nature. There is a Summary after the video.

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice.

Alice’s Memories of ‘Concord’ Farm

I am over here on the land where my mom and her sister and brother grew up, I am not really supposed to be here. I am just kind of kibitzing around because the gate was open. It belongs to a historical trust now, I think.

And over here [pans to the right of the road] I see they have torn down the barn that was there, that was in very bad repair. And I think this little building here, that you see, is the place where they used to strip the tobacco. You could keep a small building warm in the wintertime, and a lot of the stripping took place then.

Stripping was to make the tobacco ready to sell. The stalks of tobacco are turned upside down and hung on tobacco sticks across multi-level beams in the barns to cure. And then the leaves need to be stripped off before it is sold.

And over here [pans to the end of the driveway] … that was the family home. On the left was a kitchen area, which was detached from the house because of the possibility of fires. A few times over the centuries that this house was in existence, the kitchen area would burn down …

As you can see, flurries of snow are falling right now. I am going to go up a little bit closer, and see how soon I am going to get kicked out [chuckles] …

Well, I succeeded in getting up to the circular driveway in front of the house. I am sure I will not be able to go in, but it is nice to be pretending that I am visiting with family, and to remember the old days when we used to walk up those stairs and explore the attic over the white part of the building, which is where our missionary great-aunt’s (or was it our great-great aunt’s) belongings were stored after she passed away in China.

Alice’s Story about the Children’s Park Across the Road

[Moves to scene across the street] So this was the property I told you about. It used to be my mom’s property, after my grandfather passed away. And it now belongs to Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation, and has been turned into a park. It is just a little slice of property.

And behind me here you will see where they made a ballpark. And that ballpark is much used, and it is great, actually, that so many children get to take advantage of it. And I will show you the other side of the park, too …

[Moves to scene on the other side of the parking lot] Over here, where there used to be a tenant farmer house, they have built a beautiful park for young children to play in. It is just incredible. There is the entrance … there are places to play … It is like a little wonderland. It is very cool.

[Moves to ballpark area] So here is one ballpark, I see. There are just a few stadium benches … Maybe little league? … And then, far off over there, there is a beautiful picnic area, shaded, for the summertime.

And then, if you come around the field this way [pans left] … I bet that is a soccer field, do you not you think? And over here [pans left] … there is the big ball field, with a lot of stadium benches … and maybe that is a football goal over there? What do I know about this stuff? One might be baseball, and one might be football.

So, from what used to be just a field of tobacco or beans or corn, now there is this wonderful facility for all kinds of young children to enjoy. I think it is great, really.

But I really miss the land …

Thoughts About Nature and Sunlight

It is a brisk 30 degrees outside, so I got into the car, where the beautiful Sun is shining down and warming up the microcosm here. And it is kind of a relief not to have the snow flurries and the wind blowing. [laughs]

And I just have a quick thought for you about how we live our lives, and how we might live our lives.

There is something to be said for leaving nature, insofar as possible, as it is, and not improving on it. And living our lives in harmony with the forces of nature … with nature spirits, with the devas, and with the beautiful light that is ours, free, from the Sun.

You know, the light that comes from a computer screen, or a handheld, or a cell phone, is a very narrow spectrum of light. It does not nourish the spirit. It does not sustain the opening of our DNA.

If we look up from a computer screen, and look out, into the natural world, we see the vastness and grandeur and beauty of what is really here on Earth. You know?

Not a virtual reality, but the true reality of Earth. And so that os what I am suggesting today … to think of ways that we can live our personal lives in harmony with the beauty and grandeur, and life-sustaining, spirit-uplifting energy of the natural world. [waves goodbye]

Bill Ballard says, if you want to ascend, place your awareness in your heart all day, every day. I like his advice because it is very simple.

He has also talked a little about the theory that a Dark universe conjuncts with our Light Universe through a wormhole. Hmm …

After very helpful counseling sessions with both Daniella Breen and Bill Ballard, I got to thinking … If we imagine a Dark Universe always feeding into a Light Universe, well, that is not too cool. I mean, what is going to happen to the former when our Universe ascends? hmm….

Sometimes it feels so Dark around me, I have a hard time feeling Daniella Breen’s advanced Light technicians. So for me, it helps to imagine pulling in a future time loop where Light is abundantly available. That way, or so I imagine, any Darkness whatsoever is absolutely inundated with Light.

This fits in with Fractal Theory … what we may experience as Ascended Masters, Angels, and lower astral entities are actually expressions of the state of clarity of our chakras. We may experience these beings as outside ourselves, or apart from ourselves, but they can also be conceived as energy displays in our personal holograms … as part of ourselves.

Petroglyph Trail Described

I am just finishing up what is known as Petroglyph Trail here in Mesa Verde today, and it was a bit daunting in places, actually. And I got some pictures … I will include them at the end of this little story.

The trail runs along a couple of hundred feet beneath the top of the rocks, where the Anasazi kept their cliff dwellings. There is one small cliff dwelling along the route, and then there are the petroglyphs.

Conclusion of the Story about a Trip to Yellowstone Park in My Early Adulthood

I thought I would conclude the story about the trip to Yellowstone, after the turning point that I started to talk about in the recent Mesa Verde camping video. The Yellowstone Park Vigil: Part 2. The night after I got to Yellowstone, and tested my nerves by camping out in the wilderness and being wide awake all night long … it was kind of like a vigil, but I was unhurt with the morning light, as I mentioned in the last video.

So that day I thought I would go for a hike and meditate. So I went off, some place where other people did not go. And I sat down, with a view of a little mountain meadow and the mountains in the background, and the beautiful blue sky with the white clouds. And I sat down and meditated all day long … because, after all, this was a turning point in my life:

I had just gone though a divorce that changed my last name from my married name Mason, back to my maiden name Clagett. I had then set my sights on a potential boyfriend who had turned out to be in love with another woman, so that prospect had vanished.
I had just been given notice that I was about to lose my job as a researcher with Joint Publication Research Services, which was part of the CIA and funded through the Department of Commerce. The San Francisco office was closing, so I was about to be unemployed. I remember my boss was very supportive at that time, and later gave me a very nice letter of recommendation, that helped during job search; so there was that.
On the other hand, though, I had just heard from my mom that my dad had terminal cancer, and this was a terrible shock.

The First Vision: Earth as a Moving Picture Show. And I had a vision that day. You know, visions are the kind of thing where they can have a tremendous effect. In this case, I was in my twenties, and it had an effect on me for the rest of my life.

And yet,, when you try to explain them, it is really kind of hard to get that kind of significance into words. So I am going to try …

I was sitting with a view of the beautiful mountain scene. And after I sat for a while, it seemed to me that what I saw was no longer three dimensional. It was more like a painting … a beautiful painting made of light. For me, it had no substance to it. It was a beautiful scroll of light: flat, beautiful.

And I was admiring that. After a while, I looked up at the clouds, and the clouds were moving across the sky. It was getting on towards perhaps blowing up to a storm. And it was a beautiful vision of clouds going past, faster and faster.

Vision of Earth’s Guardians. And then I had a deeper vision, where I was not even on Earth. I was suddenly someplace where I could see the entire Earth before me. Out in outer space, right? And while I was watching Earth, I sensed the presence, around her perimeter, of beautiful, wise, ancient, guardian spirits. Their job was to take care of Earth, and to make sure that we were all on the right course. I could not even describe these spirits: They were so deep, so profound; and it was so touching to me to know that Earth and all of us are guided and guarded by beings so magnificent. So wise. By our lights, eternal. It was great!

Ever since that day, I have had a different view of my life, and of what Earth really is. I stopped thinking of myself; and of Earth, and sky, and all that is here as a purely physical thing. And I started regarding me, and all the beauty around me, as pure Spirit guided by Spirit.

So it was quite a turning point in my life. I have never forgotten it. To this day, I am deeply grateful that I was granted that vision.
