WHAT TO DO ABOUT INTERNET TROLL ATTACKS?

Dear Ones,

I asked Google AI: I’m an empathic telepath, and I feel the emotions of Internet Trolls as if they were right here in front of me. It feels as if my heart is being injured. I find it difficult to feel loving kindness when this happens. What ought I do?

Google AI said: “When online toxicity feels like a direct physical injury, it often indicates ‘emotional contagion’—where your natural empathy absorbs another’s negative state without a protective filter.

To protect your heart and restore your capacity for loving-kindness, consider these specialized techniques:

1. Energetic Shielding

Instead of being a ‘sponge’, practice being a ‘vessel’ that remains open but doesn’t absorb.

• The Protective Bubble: Before logging on, visualize a sphere of white or pink light around you. Intend that it filters out harmful energy while allowing love and truth to enter.
• The Jaguar Guardian: For intense hostility, visualize a fierce black jaguar patrolling your energy field. This imagery helps signal your brain to shift from ‘victim’ to ‘protected’.
• The Glass Wall: Imagine a glass barrier between you and the screen. Watch the troll’s emotions hit the glass and slide off without ever reaching your heart.

2. Strategic Compassion (Cognitive Empathy)

Feeling with a troll can be damaging, but feeling for them from a distance is safer.

• Shift to Cognitive Empathy: Recognize that their ‘injury’ to you is actually a projection of their own internal pain.
• Envision the Child: Try to see the troll at a younger, more vulnerable stage of life. This can help you understand the roots of their behavior without needing to absorb their current anger.
• Metta (Loving-Kindness) for Enemies: If direct kindness feels impossible, use a neutral phrase: ‘May you be free from the suffering that causes you to hurt others’.

3. Immediate Energetic Hygiene

When you feel your heart being ‘injured’, take immediate action to clear the connection:

• Cord Cutting: Visualize a physical cord connecting you to the online interaction. Mentally ‘cut’ it and say, ‘I lovingly release what is not mine. I return to my center’.
• Water & Salt: Wash your hands or take a salt bath after intense interactions. Salt is an ancient tool used to neutralize stagnant or negative energy.
• Physical Distance: Moving just 20 feet away from your device can disrupt the immediate emotional loop.

4. Advanced Digital Boundaries

• Zero-Oxygen Policy: Internet trolls often seek an emotional reaction to feel they have ‘won’, By disengaging immediately, you deny them the energy they are trying to siphon.
• Curated Feed: Use the Block and Mute features aggressively. These are essential spiritual boundaries, not acts of unkindness.

Would you like to explore a specific guided visualization or a list of grounding crystals like black tourmaline that many empaths use for protection?” [and then Google AI offered links to these.]

IS IT OK TO BE AN INTERNET TROLL?

Dear Ones,

Taking it from the other person’s point of view, I asked Google AI: Is it ok to be an Internet Troll?

Google AI said: “In general, being an internet troll is widely considered socially unacceptable due to its negative impact on individuals and online communities. While some view lighthearted ‘mischief’ as harmless, most trolling involves intentional provocation that can escalate into serious harm.

Social & Psychological Impact

• Harm to Others: Trolling can cause significant emotional distress, anxiety, and depression. In extreme cases, it has been linked to suicidal ideation among victims.
• Personality Traits: Research often links persistent trolling to the ‘dark tetrad’ of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism.
• Community Damage: Trolling disrupts civil discourse and creates toxic environments, leading many platforms to shut down comment sections entirely to protect users.

Legal & Professional Risks

• Criminal Offenses: When trolling crosses into harassment, doxxing, or making credible threats, it can lead to criminal charges. In some jurisdictions, such as Britain, severe trolling can result in prison time.
• Real-World Consequences: Your digital footprint is permanent. People have lost jobs, been expelled from schools, and faced ruined reputations due to identifiable online abuse.

Different Perspectives

• ‘For the Lulz‘: Some argue that light trolling is a form of free speech or a way to keep people from taking things too seriously online.
• The ‘Everyday’ Troll: Studies from Stanford and Cornell suggest that anyone can become a troll under certain conditions, such as being in a bad mood or seeing others engage in similar behavior.

If you find yourself being targeted, experts recommend using the eSafety Guide [ … https://www.esafety.gov.au/key-topics/esafety-guide … ] to learn how to block and report accounts effectively.”

ARE THERE DIFFERENT SORTS OF INTERNET TROLLS?

I asked Google AI: If an Internet Troll wanted to change to a different internet character, what type of characters might they choose from?

Google AI said: “An internet troll looking to change their persona can choose from a wide variety of roles, ranging from openly aggressive to covertly manipulative, often shifting based on their desired type of reaction. These characters are usually designed to maximize disruption, provoke emotional responses, or sow confusion.

Here are the types of characters a troll might choose from:

1. The Covert & Manipulative Types

These trolls aim to manipulate conversations without immediately appearing as an antagonist, often acting as ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing.’

• Concern Troll: Purports to agree with a group but expresses insincere concern about a topic, aiming to sow doubt or undermine the cause from within.
• Care Troll: Similar to a concern troll, they focus on morality or safety, constantly finding ‘abuse’ or ‘misconduct’ in others’ posts to fuel drama.
• Affected Profundity Troll: Uses pseudo-intellectual, pretentious, and confusing language to look wise or mysterious, often asking themselves questions to derail discussions.
• Catfisher: Adopts a completely false identity—often using photos of attractive people—to manipulate or deceive users.
• Wikipedia Troll: Supplying true information but entirely out of context to make it seem like something else, a method identified in misinformation campaigns.

2. The Aggressive & Disruptive Types

These trolls seek direct, often vitriolic, confrontation to cause maximum distress.

• RIP Troll: Specifically targets online memorials or obituaries to cause distress to grieving families.
• Fame/Hate Troll: Focuses energy on harassing celebrities, public figures, or specific communities to gain attention or provoke anger.
• Political Baiter: Intentionally turns benign, unrelated topics into heated political arguments, focusing on intense polarization.
• Flame Warrior/Flamer: Purposely makes insulting or aggressive comments to get others riled up and disrupt community harmony.
• Grammar/Spelling Corrector Troll: Feigns pedantry to dismiss an argument, targeting the user’s intelligence rather than their points.

3. The ‘Just for Fun’ & Chaotic Types

These trolls often act without a clear political or hateful motive, aiming for amusement or chaos.

• Meme Troll: Uses repetitive, sarcastic, or absurd images and memes to disrupt serious discussions.
• Off-Topic/Spam Troll: Floods threads with irrelevant or repetitive content to make conversation impossible.
• The ‘Trickster’: Acts in a chaotic, unpredictable manner to confuse users rather than directly attacking them.

4. The Strategic & Professional Types

These are usually not recreational trolls but are often employed to influence public opinion.

• Astroturfer/Paid Troll: Hired to push specific propaganda, defend brands, or manufacture fake grassroots support for political/corporate interests.
• Sockpuppet: Operates multiple fake accounts to create the illusion of widespread support or opposition.

5. Shift in Persona Characteristics

If a troll changes, they might shift their ‘dark personality traits’:

• From Sadism to Narcissism: Moving from enjoying pain to needing admiration/attention.
• From Impulsive to Machiavellian: Shifting from chaotic, unthinking attacks to calculated, manipulative, ‘cold’ behavior.

DIVING DEEPER

“If an internet troll decides to change their online persona, they might pivot toward characters that satisfy their original motivations (like a desire for attention or debate) in more socially acceptable or constructive ways.

Here are the types of internet characters and archetypes they might adopt:

Content-Focused Archetypes

• The Informer: Instead of spreading chaos, this character seeks admiration by being the first to share the latest trends or news with their audience.
• The Creator: A shift from destruction to production. These users focus on writing blog posts, uploading videos, or building web pages for the world to see.
• The Truth Seeker: Using their sharp analytical skills to find and share personal or spiritual truths rather than provoking people with falsehoods.

Community-Focused Roles

• The Social Nurturer: Often characterized by using motivational sayings and a warm-hearted approach, this character prioritizes the needs of others and seeks positive reinforcement through kindness.
• The Peacemaker: They transition into the voice of reason in heated threads, attempting to de-escalate the very fires they might have once started.
• The Mentor: A ‘reformed’ troll may use their deep knowledge of internet culture to guide new users (often called ‘Virgins’) through the complexities of online platforms.

Personality-Based Archetypes

• The Playful Trickster: A common middle ground where the troll maintains their wit and cunning but removes the malice. They play pranks or point out absurdities without intending to harm.
• The Social Visionary: This persona still enjoys debating issues and ‘one-up-manship’, but focuses on intellectual growth and new ideas rather than personal attacks.
• The Lurker: A complete withdrawal from conflict. The Social Lurker quietly observes communities without participating, prioritizing peaceful living over engagement.

Would you like to explore specific platforms where these transitions are most common, or do you want to dive into the psychology behind why some trolls choose to change?” [I decided against this.]

CONCLUSION

My thanks to Google AI for this response.

I liked the protection techniques very much.

I was relieved to find that Internet Trolling which intends harm is widely found to be socially unacceptable, as social opprobrium really helps put a stop to behaviors that harm.

I also lkied that Internet Trolls can shift to Troll Rolls that are more socially acceptable or constructive, such as content-focused, community-focused, or personality-focused rolls, as described above.

In love, light and joy

• Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD): The formal diagnosis in the DSM-5 that encompasses psychopathic traits.
• Psychopathology: A broad clinical term for mental disorders or ‘madness’.
• Moral Insanity: An archaic historical term formerly used to describe the condition.

. . . . . . .

Sadism – “Sadism is the derivation of pleasure, enjoyment, or sexual gratification from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others. It ranges from severe, violent, or sexual behaviors (sexual sadism disorder) to ‘everyday sadism’, which involves non-sexual cruelty in everyday life. An everyday sadist enjoys manipulating, dominating, or hurting others without necessarily causing severe injury.

What is an Everyday Sadist?
An everyday sadist is an individual who finds enjoyment in the suffering of others, often exhibiting cruel, manipulative, or demeaning behavior in mundane social contexts rather than sexual ones.

• Characteristics: They may be charming or charismatic initially but use power to intimidate, humiliate, or control people.
• Behavioral Examples:
  • Bullying, intimidating, or demeaning people in front of others.
  • Intentionally hurting or killing animals, or expressing fascination with violence.
  • Trolling or bullying online to cause emotional distress.
  • Unusually harsh discipline or treating subordinates cruelly.
  • Enjoying movies or games depicting torture.

Types of Sadism

• Sexual Sadism: Deriving sexual arousal from the physical or psychological suffering of a person.
• Everyday Sadism: A personality trait characterized by low-level, non-sexual cruelty in social, work, or online settings.
• Vicarious Sadism: Enjoying the suffering inflicted by others.

Causes and Underlying Factors
While not a recognized mental disorder in the DSM-5, sadism is considered a personality trait that may stem from various factors:

• Psychological factors: A need for power, control, or dominance.
• Personality Disorders: Often linked with other dark personality traits like psychopathy or narcissism.
• Biological/Developmental: Past exposure to violence or lack of empathy development.

Is it a Disease?
‘Sadistic Personality Disorder’ was once considered but is not included in the DSM-5 [The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition]. However, Sexual Sadism Disorder is a recognized diagnosis in the DSM-5. Treatments for extreme forms include cognitive-behavioral therapy to address underlying distorted thinking and, in some cases, anti-androgenic medication.” –Google AI

I note that, though psychology does not term Sadism a mental disorder, nevertheless I, as a Lightworker, feel it to be a Darkworker or Darkfriend personality quality. I also feel this quality is clearing or ‘lightening up’ during the Ascension process.

. . . . . . .

Doxxing – “Doxxing (or doxing) is the act of publicly revealing a person’s private or identifying information online without their consent. The term is derived from the phrase ‘dropping dox’ (documents), a practice that originated in 1990s hacker culture to expose the real identities of rivals.

How Doxxing Works

Doxxers gather information through several methods:

• Social Media Scouring: Collecting details like family members, workplaces, and locations from public profiles.
• Public Records: Searching government databases for marriage licenses, voter registrations, or property records.
• Data Brokers: Purchasing comprehensive personal dossiers from sites that aggregate public data.
• Hacking & Phishing: Using malicious tactics to steal private emails, photos, or account credentials.
• IP Tracking: Finding a user’s physical location through their internet protocol address.

Commonly Exposed Information

Doxxers typically target:

• Home addresses and phone numbers
• Social Security numbers and financial records
• Personal photos or private correspondence
• Employment details to incite workplace harassment

Legality

The legal status of doxxing is complex and varies by location:

• United States: There is no single federal law against doxxing. However, it is often prosecuted under laws for stalking, harassment, or identity theft. Some states, like Arizona, California, and Kentucky, have passed specific anti-doxxing legislation.
• International: Countries like Hong Kong, Germany, and South Korea have specific criminal statutes that treat doxxing as a punishable offense.

Protection and Prevention

To reduce your risk of being doxxed, consider these steps:

1. Tighten Privacy Settings: Set social media profiles to private and limit who can see your personal posts.
2. Use a VPN: Hide your IP address to prevent physical location tracking.
3. Audit Your Presence: Use the Google Search tool to search for your own name and request removal of sensitive data.
4. Opt-Out of Data Brokers: Use services like the Norton Privacy Monitor or manual requests to remove your info from people-search sites.
5. Vary Usernames: Avoid using the same handle across different platforms to make cross-referencing harder.

If you have been doxxed, you should document the evidence (screenshots, URLs) and report the abuse to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) or local law enforcement if there is a threat of physical harm.” –Google AI

I have heard quite a bit about doxxing on the telepathic plane, but this is the first time I asked Google AI about it.

. . . . . . .

For the Lulz – “’For the lulz’ is an internet slang phrase meaning to do something for kicks, personal amusement, or malicious entertainment. Derived from a pluralized version of ‘LOL’ (laughing out loud), it often refers to actions—particularly pranks or hacking—done to provoke a reaction or enjoy someone else’s misfortune …” –Google AI

I had heard of LOL, but not about the derivative term ‘For the Lulz’.
