INTRODUCTION
Dear Ones,
The sky has been quite active in recent days. At 2 am today, 11 November 2025, there was an X5.1 solar flare. Word is not yet out on whether this will result in a geostorm incoming, but it will likely be so, and arriving at Earth in a few days. Right now there is an R1 radio blackout and an S1 radiation storm on Earth. These are likely to do with the X5 solar flare.
Meantime there have been two more, smaller X-flares, an X1.8 and an X1, which are both Earth directed and arriving tonight, 11 November 2025, and tomorrow.
Right now I am looking at the SWPC/NOAA home page … https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/ ..
SWPC/NOAA predicts a G2 geostorm for today – possibly arriving at Earth late in the evening.
The SWPC/NOAA prediction for Wednesday, 12 November 2025, is a G3 geostorm.
The SWPC/NOAA prediction for Thursday, 13 November 2025, is a G1 geostorm.
Likely the X5 solar flare that just erupted on the sun a short time ago has not yet been added into this calculation.
From the position of active sunspot 4274, which is the Sun’s current problem child, there could be 3 or 4 more days of solar flares that result in Earth directed CMEs.
