Is It OK for El Pollo Loco to Let a Man Follow a Woman into Their Restroom? . by Alice B. Clagett

Is It OK for El Pollo Loco to Let a Man Follow a Woman into Their Restroom?

Dear Ones,

Here is another seering question for Google AI. This one has to do with a personal experience I had at Platt Village, at the intersection of Victory Blvd and Platt, in the San Fernando Valley, about a month ago.

I asked Google AI: Is it ok for El Pollo Loco to let a man follow a woman into their restroom?

Google AI said: “It is not acceptable for any business, including El Pollo Loco, to knowingly allow someone to follow another person into a restroom in a manner that causes distress or fear … Such an action could constitute harassment, stalking, or a violation of privacy, depending on the specifics of the situation …

Businesses have a responsibility to provide a safe environment for their customers and to take action if they are aware of a potentially threatening or harmful situation occurring on their premises … If a customer reported such an incident, management would be expected to intervene, contact authorities if necessary, and support the victim …

If you witnessed or experienced such an incident, you can:

  • Report it immediately to the manager or staff at the El Pollo Loco location …
  • Contact local law enforcement if you believe a crime has been committed or if you feel unsafe… You can find local police contact information through the San Jose Police Department’s official website.
  • File a complaint with El Pollo Loco’s corporate office to formally report the behavior and management’s response.”

Then I asked Google AI: What should I do if a man follows me into the women’s restroom at the El Pollo Loco in Pratt Village?

Google AI said: “If a man follows you into the women’s restroom and you feel unsafe, your priority is to secure your safety first by immediately removing yourself from the situation, alerting others, and contacting the police. Trust your instincts if something feels wrong.

Immediate Actions

  1. Leave the restroom immediately: Exit the restroom and head to a busy, well-lit area inside the restaurant where there are other people or employees.
  2. Yell for help: Make a scene and draw attention to yourself. Yell “Help me!” or use your voice as a weapon to alert others to your situation and potentially scare off the person following you.
  3. Alert restaurant staff: Immediately find a manager or employee and explain what happened. They can assist in contacting security or law enforcement and can provide a statement.
  4. Call the police: Use your cell phone to call 911 immediately. Tell the operator you are being followed and are scared for your safety. Provide your exact location (El Pollo Loco in Pratt Village, Yuba City, CA) and a description of the individual.
  5. Do not go to an isolated location: Avoid going to your car, home, or any other private or remote area until you are completely sure the person is no longer following you and you feel safe.

Preventative Measures (If in the stall)

  • Lock the stall door: Always lock the stall door immediately upon entering.
  • Have your phone ready: Keep your cell phone easily accessible (not in a bag on the floor) so you can call for help discreetly if you can’t leave the stall.
  • Be aware of surroundings: Before entering the restroom, be aware of who is around and if anyone seems to be paying you unusual attention.

The main goal is to get to safety and involve law enforcement. Let the authorities determine the intent and take the appropriate action.”

Alice’s Analysis: Google AI’s Immediate Action number 1 is what I did. It was the first time in my life that anything like this had happened, except for one time a long time ago when a man walked into a woman’s room full of women, did a painful double-take, and walked back out again.

This case was different, though. I had a concern that the man who followed me might have thought me homeless and for that reason, fair game. I will be looking into that in another post.

As for me, in future here in the San Fernando Valley, I will avoid the restrooms at Platt Village, as I had a psychic impression of similar expectations at the Carls Junior across the street from the shopping center this last weekend. A psychic impression is not good enough for most folks, but it is plenty too much for me.

In love, light and joy
This is Alice B. Clagett.

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

I heard about a new word today: Sidelining.

WHAT DOES SIDELINING MEAN?

I asked Google AI: What does sidelining mean?

Google AI said: “Sidelining means to exclude someone or something from an important activity, making them feel unimportant or preventing them from participating, like a sidelined athlete who can’t play or a worker whose key tasks are removed. It can also refer to a secondary job (a ‘sideline’) or, in film, musicians appearing on camera. Essentially, it’s about putting something/someone to the side, away from the main action or importance.

In general/social contexts:

  • Exclusion: To push someone out of a group, decision-making, or activity.
  • Marginalization: Making someone feel less significant or relevant in a project or situation.
  • Example: A manager sidelining an employee after a disagreement, giving them less important work.

In sports:

  • Benched: A player kept from playing due to injury, poor performance, or team decision, often watching from the sidelines.

In business/jobs:

  • Secondary income: A job or business done in addition to one’s main occupation (e.g., photography on weekends).
  • Film/Music: ‘Sideline musicians’ are hired to appear on camera (miming) in movies, distinct from recording.

Other meanings:

  • Physical: A line marking the side of a playing field.
  • Railways: A short track alongside a main one (a siding).

In most modern usage, `sidelining` implies a deliberate act of removal from the central action or importance, often negatively.”

HOW ARE PEOPLE SIDELINED?

I asked Google AI: How are people sidelined?

Google AI said: “People are sidelined through subtle exclusion, like being left out of meetings/emails, having roles reduced, or input ignored, often masked as ‘normal’ workplace dynamics, leading to less influence, fewer opportunities, and feelings of invisibility or being demoted, affecting careers and mental well-being, with underlying biases often playing a role in marginalizing diverse perspectives.

Workplace Sidelining (Common Methods)

  • Exclusion: Not invited to key meetings/emails, left out of informal chats, or group activities.
  • Reduced Influence: Your ideas are dismissed, credit is stolen, or you’re micromanaged; input isn’t sought.
  • Stagnant Growth: Consistently passed over for promotions, training, or challenging tasks; moved to less vital projects/teams.
  • Communication Breakdown: Less frequent or direct communication; withheld information.
  • Undermining: Receiving excessive negative feedback, being held to different standards, or having your ‘style’ criticized.
  • Invisible Labor: Being expected to do menial tasks (like making coffee) while others discuss projects.

Beyond Work (Social/Systemic)

  • Social Exclusion: Being ignored, ostracized, or made to feel like an ‘other’ due to cultural differences or `otherness`.
  • Systemic Barriers: Lack of access to resources, opportunities, or basic services due to socio-economic, cultural, or political factors.
  • Bias & Stereotypes: Being sidelined because of your background, gender, or perceived personality (e.g., ‘too direct’).

What it Feels Like/Results

  • Demoralization, lack of motivation, and low confidence.
  • Anxiety, depression, or emotional distress (especially in sports/career shifts).
  • Feeling unheard, untrusted, or that your contributions don’t matter.

What to Do (General Advice)

  • Document: Keep track of instances.
  • Communicate: Have direct, respectful conversations.
  • Advocate: Speak up for yourself and your inclusion.
  • Seek Allies: Build relationships with supportive colleagues.
  • Evaluate: If things don’t improve, consider moving roles or organizations where you’ll be valued.”

Alice’s Analysis: I see from this that I have been sidelines about a zillion times in my life without actually grokking in its entirety what was happening to me. If I had known I might have said, ‘Say, I feel I’m being sidelined. Can we talk about it?’ … or something like that.

WHAT TO DO IF I AM SIDELINED IN MY PERSONAL LIFE OR IN MY CAREER?

I asked Google AI: What to do if I am sidelined in my personal life or in my career?

Google AI said: “When sidelined in life or career, focus on self-compassion, regain control by setting small goals, and proactively communicate to understand why (career) or reconnect with others (personal); then, either strategize for growth within the current situation (upskilling, networking) or plan an exit if the environment is toxic, using this time for healing and discovering new interests.

In Your Career

  1. Seek Clarity: Talk to your manager to understand why you’re being sidelined (visibility, performance, politics) and what’s needed for inclusion or promotion.
  2. Increase Visibility: Ask for specific responsibilities, volunteer for key projects, and ensure your contributions are known.
  3. Develop Skills: Use downtime to learn new things, aligning with future goals, and create a plan with your manager for advancement.
  4. Network & Explore: Connect with your professional network and explore new opportunities, maybe even finding roles valuing your strengths more.
  5. Manage Emotions: Keep resentment in check, focus on your strengths, and consider if the organization is right long-term if things don’t improve.

In Your Personal Life

  1. Practice Self-Compassion: Acknowledge the pain, allow yourself to grieve the situation, and don’t blame yourself for feeling unproductive.
  2. Take Ownership: Recognize the choices you do have in how you react and shape your future story, rather than dwelling on what you can’t control.
  3. Reconnect & Rebuild: Invest time in family and supportive friends, as they often get pushed aside during busy times.
  4. Find New Purpose: Use extra time to meditate, focus on nutrition, try new hobbies, or pursue things you’ve always wanted to do.
  5. Seek Support: Talk to a therapist or counselor to process feelings and learn coping mechanisms for emotional turmoil.

General Strategies for Both

  • Set Small Goals: Break down large objectives into tiny, achievable steps to build momentum and positivity.
  • Focus on Health: Prioritize your mind-body-soul well-being, as it’s foundational for resilience and recovery.
  • Create a Routine: Establish a daily structure with productive, positive activities to feel in control and motivated.
  • Follow Your Intuition: Don’t jump to the next trend; instead, tap into your inner guidance to find truly aligned paths forward.”

Alice’s Analysis: Google’s advice sounds quite reasonable to me. What do you think about it?

CONCLUSION

I see from the above that the word ‘sidelining’ has a game-playing connotation. If a player is kept from playing during a game (if he is ‘benched’) he is said to be sidelined.

I asked Google if sidelining is a form of Bullying; Google averred that it is. Thus I added Sidelinging to my Bullying category under the subcategory ‘Game playing’. Here is the revised Bullying subcategory …

PSYCHIC IMPRESSIONS EMBEDDED IN MUSIC

I channeled these words as I heard the great music by Daniel Massa that is in this post. I think they are psychic impressions embedded by the musician in the music. I wonder if you can hear these words too? …

“Rain is falling down.
I’m walking in the rain, and I’m wet.
I’m walking in the rain, and I got wet.
Without the rain, I would not be wet.
On the other hand,
Without the rain,

The people would be dead.
I don’t mind
Walking in the rain.

And then at the end of the music I heard:
On the other hand,
I don’t mind
If the rain would stop.”

There was another time when I heard psychic impressions embedded in music. That was in the 1990s. As I recall the album was “Woolunda: Ten Solos for Didgeridoo” (1993) by David Hudson. IN the Australian Aboriginal culture, ‘Woolunda’ is the place of life after death. Here are highlights from the “Woolunda” album …

Video: “David Hudson – Woolunda (Ten Solos For Didgeridoo),” by BLISS, 28 April 2023 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q9KC-B4JGY ..

I was playing the music loudly, and sitting right on the floor of my apartment right in front of the speaker. What I heard was the whispered words ‘My People … My People … My People.” I heard these words over and over again.

I had never heard of psychic impressions overlaid on or embedded in music before. I was so amazed by what I had heard that I phoned the artist and asked if I had heard right. He laughed and said, “Well, MAY-be.” I was amazed he would speak with me at all; he was quite famous even way back then.

And then on the other hand, I feel it is good to steer clear of very famous people. That’s a sure path to a personal inferiority complex … and surely is no way to escape being sidelined. Don’t you feel it to be so?

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here I am at King Gillette Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains, talking with Songbirds bad Mountain Lions and Ravens and a Hummingbird and Woodpeckers and Coyotes about the different sorts of Earth Animals and why humans walk on two legs and whether they have seen any ETs.

Can you hear the grumbling, grouse-around beings who are speaking in the video? Is it Gnomes or Trolls …  or maybe Dwarves of the Nature Spirit realm? Could it be very large Ground Hogs? Is it those Turtles? They do go on and on!: “You can see those legatory ETs on youtube, not here!”

The conversation gets heated from time to time, but my hope is you will enjoy the story of walking and talking with the animals.

Happy New Year to everyone!

There is Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones. It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

Check it out. Icicles everywhere. Oh, snowflakes.

Hawk: Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear!

Alice to Hawk: What? Fear, fear, fear. What’s wrong? Oh, okay. You’re afraid I might mention the word Mountain Lion. Is that Squirrel? Squirrel. Fear, Fear, Fear. Fear, Fear, Fear? Did you know that that Baby Parrots say that too? Do Baby Nanday say that? Fear, Fear, Fear?

Songbird said they might say that. It’s a big secret.

Alice to Readers: See them? [Shows snowflake ornaments hanging above.] Here. There you go. Okay, listen to this: Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear!

Hummingbird: Cut that out!

Alice (repeating): Quiet, Alice Clagett. Right. You guys are great. Is that Hummingbird? Okay. Okay. That means I agree. I’ll be quiet. Okay. That’s what mammals say. Okay. Okay, I’ll be quiet.

Where are the Ducks? Ducks? Ducks! Ducks! Wow.

Alice to Ducks: Ducks. Pleased to meet you. Good, good Ducks!

Alice to Readers: Waterfall over there, I guess. Or a dam. I don’t know where that water’s going. I don’t think I can find out either.

Alice: Babies fell down? Oh no! Babies fell down and you can’t follow them? Oh no.

Hummingbird: Coyote will EAT your BA-bies? Tsk!

Alice to Ducks: What? All the babies fell down? Oh no. So sorry …

Alice to Readers: I was just talking to those odd Ducks down there. They said all of their Babies fell down that precipice of water during the rain and couldn’t get back up. And one by one, ‘Mike D’ ate them up. I think maybe they were talking about Coyotes that time.

And so I said, “It’s going to rain again next week, they think. So why not wait to lay more eggs till after that?

And then the Raven found out about the Baby Ducks and it perfidiously summoned the Hawk to come and eat them up.

Raven (embarrassed): Coyote [using a code word for this], not Hawk!

Songbird: We did SAY Coyote!

Raven (relieved): That’s right, not Hawk!

Alice to Readers: I said, “Raven, don’t do that. The Ducks really care a lot about their Babies.”

You can hear the Raven saying that still. It said: “Hawk, Hawk, Hawk, Come eat the Babies up.”

Alice to Raven: Why would you say that? Don’t you like the Ducks? Raven: No, I don’t like Ducks at all.

Alice to Readers: That’s an unusual attitude. You see, individuality [big personality differences] sometimes happens. While I was over by the Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center, I was explaining to the Ravens and the Songbirds. Songbirds were responding. The Ravens were just listening. They don’t believe anything too muchl

I was explaining the difference between Mammals and other types of animals. What is a Mammal? We went through that at great length. And is a Coyote a Mammal? Is a Mouse a Mammal? Is a Person a Mammal? Why is a Person a Mammal? Well, long long ago, …

Songbird: Right! We already know about that.

Alice: … long long long long time ago, People walked on four legs.

Songbird: My God! God! How could that be true?

Alice to Readers: Their hands used to be legs. Primates …

Songbird: Primates? Are you a Primate? …

Alice to Songbird: Yeah, I’m a Primate type of Mammal. We walk on two legs, but almost all mammals walk on four legs.

Songbird: Very GOOD! She says they’re Mammals that are walking on two legs!

Alice to Songbird: They call us the ‘Hu’ – Human Mammals.

Alice to Readers: So … I was just talking to the Songbird. So we went through all the different kinds of Mammals hereabouts and then we were talking about … They already know about the Birds. Birds fly, they have feathers. Mostly Mammals have four legs, no wings. Then we talked about …

Songbird: Fish!

Alice: Fish, right. Then we talked about Fish. And then Fish have fins. And Fish have scales too, but they swim in the water. They have no legs.

Songbird: What?

Alice: No legs. None at all.

Alice to Readers: Reptiles. Then we talked about Reptiles.

Songbird: We know a very great deal about silly old Reptiles.

Alice: What’s a Reptile? Reptiles have no wings, right? No feathers, right? No fur.

Songbird: They don’t have fur! [Fish or People, I wonder?]

Alice (opting for People): We do have fur, but it’s just very small. The men have fur on their faces. Humans, you know, that’s fur on their faces sometimes … sometimes not.

Alice to Readers: And the beat goes on.

So, we had some trouble with Reptiles because all the Reptiles I know are Rattlesnakes and Fence Lizards.

But a lady walked by and mentioned Alligators. I guess Alligators are Reptiles. [Yes, Alligators are Reptiles.]

And I wonder about Turtles maybe. I don’t know. [Turtle: Yes, Turtles are Reptiles. ‘Mike D’ (meaning Coyote?) told me so too.]

And then we talked about Birds with no feathers they can fly with. Those that I know of are Ostriches.

Alice to Songbird: Ostrich!

Alice to Readers: … and Emu.

They don’t live here. They live in the zoo and in Australia or someplace like that. [Emus live in Australia. Ostriches live in Africa.] They run around. They’re really huge. They run around. There’s some in the mountains, but not near here. They live on a farm. They live on an Emu ranch, right? They have feathers, but they can’t fly.

Songbird (perplexed): Bird can’t fly in the AIR AIR!

Alice: They’re too big. They can’t fly.

Alice to Readers: So, here’s another story. [This story took place at the Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch.] This is a Raven – Hawk Story.

Okay. The Raven was saying, “Stop talking. Stop talking. Alice Clagett (or Dharm Darshan), Stop talking.” And I said, “Okay” each time. But they kept saying, “Stop talking.”

And then a man who was there said, “‘Okay’ means ‘I agree’ for Humans; it means they’ll stop talking.”

And then I went for a walk over by the “Stop Talking Raven.” And it turned out it was talking to its Children. And there was a Hawk nearby. Hawks and Ravens always live near each other.

The youngest Baby talked. And the Hawk heard it and came and grabbed the youngest Baby and fed it to its Hawk Child. And the young Hawk Child said, “Feed me. Feed me. Feed me.” That was the Hawk Child.

So now Raven Mother has only one large Raven Child that’s very, very quiet.

Now you know …

Look, they have this beautiful reindeer display this again this year …

What? Woodpecker? Woodpecker? Hummingbird?

And they have this other display again this year. Wow. And then they have Kwanzaa over here. Yeah. Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Wow. All kind of good stuff.

Look at that [shows a building with steam coming out of a vent.] See, somebody’s in there. That’s unusual. Somebody without a car.

Wow, there’s a ghostly voice. Can you hear it? “Okay. So, we congregate in here.” Did you hear that? Did you get a psychic impression?

This is a magic camcorder. It takes psychic impressions. Wait a minute. I’ll tell you what kind of camcorder it is … Sony HDR CX220.

Hawk: Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear!

Alice: Why do you guys say that? Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear?

Raven: I don’t know why they say that goddamned thing.

Alice to Readers: You hear that?

Hawk: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear.

Alice: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear.

Raven said … It was grumbling and muttering, and it said (speaking on behalf of the Hawks), “Because we want them to fear us.” Seems self-evident, I guess.

Hawk: Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear.

Alice: That is very …

Hawk: Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear.

Alice: It is very scary. Fear, fear, fear, fear.

Hawk: Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear.

Alice: Wow. Noisy, too. And a big one, too. [Hawk is putting on an impressive aerial display, but it is hard to see here.]

Alice: Big big big one. Fear, fear, fear, fear.

[Hawk continues with ‘Fear’ call.]

Alice: That’s a grownup Hawk. Fear, fear, fear, fear, fear. I got it. I’m scared. I’m very scared …

That’s the locomotive this year, too. Look, from before! But it got rained out this year. It rained like crazy. There was a deluge. Like in the Bible … there was a deluge.

Nanday: My God, a deluge!

Alice: Yeah. A deluge.

Alice to Readers: Did you hear that? Who said that?

Nanday: ‘Mike’ did. ‘Mike’ said there’s a deluge.

Alice: Mike’ did? ‘Mike’ said there’s a deluge?

Alice to all the beings: Who is that that said that?

Alice to Readers: Well, so here we have the Elf Village again. It’s looking really wet, but it’s still here, and that’s great. Look at that. The Elves are still there, just for pretend, Right. Maybe they’ll dry out.

Nanday: That Coyote does not know anybody named Alice Clagett.

Alice to Readers: Dear, dear, dear.

Alice (miffed) to Nanday: Everybody here calls her [me] Dharm Darshan Kaur. Dharm D. That’s right. My friend Dharm D.

Alice to Readers: [about the Elf Village …] Cool. Nice, huh?

Everybody’s gone. It’s between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Okay, I have to say the conversation has gotten interesting. I was talking to the Birds. The word ‘taken’ came up because the Birds were talking about the Baby Ravens that are taken by the Hawks. They were saying they were ‘taken’. And that reminded me of that story about Human Children and Human Women and Human Men that are sometimes said to be ‘taken away’ by beings in the sky … and that then later the beings in the sky bring the people back again. This is a story that I’ve heard. I was saying: “And they call these beings in the sky … they call them ETS. ET. ET. ETs.”

And I don’t know because no one has ever ‘taken’ me, right? But there are people who swear that they were ‘taken’ and then brought back again.

So I asked the Songbirds here at King Gillette Ranch … I said, “What do you think? Is there such a thing as ETs?”

And way over there, in the woodlands, a Woodpecker said, “Yes, we have seen them.”

Alice to all the beings: Anybody else seen them? Seen the ETs? Anybody else? Who said that?

Alice to Readers: The people over there, they said very quietly, sotto voce, if you will, “We haven’t seen them, but we know they’re here.” Here at King Gillette Ranch. Who would think that? Who would think that?

Raven: Hawk, Hawk, Hawk!

Alice: Has the Raven seen them?

Raven: Hawk, Hawk!

Alice: ETs?

Raven: Hawk, Hawk, Hawk!

[Can you hear the grumbling, grouse-around beings? Is it Gnomes or Trolls … or maybe Dwarves of the Nature Spirit realm? Could it be very large Ground Hogs? Is it those Turtles? They do go on and on!: “You can see those negatory ETs on youtube, not here!”]

Alice: Has the Hawk seen them? ETs?

Raven: Hawk?

Raven said: “I saw Hawk.” He’s saying. not ET.

Then I said, “Has Hawk seen them?”

And he said, “Not.” Let’s keep listening.

Alice to Songbirds: Are there Songbirds here? To Songbirds: Have you seen them?

Groundhog: No, we have not seen them.

Raven: Hawk, Hawk!

Alice: Who is that that’s talking? There’s a Mammal talking. Is that Groundhog?

Raven: Hawk, Hawk, Hawk!

Alice to Readers (about exhibit): Look at this.

Raven: Hawk, Hawk, Hawk!

Alice to Readers: So over there in the woodlands, a Woodpecker saw them, but nobody else over here. This is too close to People, I think. That’s why.

Raven: Hawk, Hawk, Hawk! … Stop talk!

Alice: Why? Why stop talking? Ravens are saying, “‘Mike D’ says, ‘Stop.'” Right? Stop talking. [In this case, as you will soon see, the Raven Sentinel is referring to another Raven Sentinel that he knows … as will soon become clear. He is calling his Raven friend ‘Mike D’.] Raven: Stop! Stop talking! Stop!

Alice to Raven: I would just like to know … because some People say it’s true, but I never saw one. Have you seen one? An ET? Extraterrestrial? Well? You guys are high in the sky. If anybody sees them, you should see them. Is that not right?

Raven 1: Stop!

Raven 2: Stop!

Raven 1: Stop!

Raven 2: Stop!

Raven 1: Stop!

Alice tp Ravems: Okay, that was a duet. Thanks, dudes. It’s been great talking to you today.

Raven 1: Stop! Stop!

Alice: See you guys later. So long.

Ravens 1 and 2 (simultaneously): Stop! Stop!

Alice to Ravens: Okay, here’s the thing about ETs. They say they live in the Sky and they sometimes walk on the Earth. ETs! ETs.

[Who is that? Hawk? He is saying: We KNOW about ETs!]

And they say they look like Human Beings …

Hawk: Shit! Human Beings! Wow! ETs!

Alice: … or sometimes Birds’ heads or sometimes Cats’ heads … looking like a Human Being. So what do you got? Cough up something. What have you got?

Hawk:These ETs are something else, Dharm D!

Alice to Raven: You ought to know something about this thing. I don’t know anything. I’m asking you. There you are. High up in the Sky. And that’s where they live. Way, way high in the Sky. What do you got? Raven! Don’t say, “Stop!”

Raven: Stop!

Alice: Stop that! Don’t say, “Stop!”

Raven: Ask Hawk!

Alice: Why? [Ravens continue on and on with ‘Ask Hawk!]

. . . . .

Alice to Readers: What? What did I do? You know, I have a feeling that the Raven Sentinel there, a very fine Bird; and his friend, another Raven Sentinel; and that Sharp Shinned Hawk over there that’s saying, “Kill. Kill. Kill.” … I think they’re hiding something. I think this is a cover up.

Alice: A cover up! Did you say yes it is?

Raven: No, it’s not.

Alice: It’s not a cover up?

Raven (in click language): No. It isn’t a cover up.

Alice: Why are you scared? ‘Michael D’ said don’t talk about them?

Raven (over and over again): Ask Hawk!

Alice: Huh?

Alice to herself, regarding Raven: Scared. Scared of the ETS.

Alice to Raven: Raven, I’m not frightened of the ETs. Don’t you be scared either. No, I’m not scared at all. Don’t you be scared at all. No, we’ll call the good ETs to come and help us.

You want to know who they are? Ask the Hathors for help. Hathors. Don’t forget.

So you say it like this: “My friends the Hathors, will you help the Raven Tribe?”

Hawk: Yeah. Ask them to help us. ‘Mike D’ says that.

Alice: That’s how you say it. “Help us. The bad ETS are here. Help us, please. Help us. May all the good ETs help us.” Okay? Don’t forget.

Hawk: We got that Hawks can say that.

Lizard (overlay on helicopter sound): I goddamn hate her for leaving us out.

[Oh gosh, faux pas. Ok, then. I’m not a fan of Lizard Star Beings, but I do wish the best for all beings everywhere.]

Alice to Readers: This is a Christmas village.

Acorn Woodpecker said, “Take a picture. Take a picture. Take a picture. Take a picture.” Did you hear it?

Alice to Acorn Woodpecker: Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Nice pictures.

Alice to Readers: Beautiful Bird. Acorn Woodpecker. Wow. Hummingbird!

Acorn Woodpecker: Exactly ‘xactly ‘xactly ‘xactly. That’s a Hummingbird.

Alice to Hummingbird: Hummingbird! Where’s that hummingbird? Beautiful hummingbird. Wow. I can’t find you though. You’re so beautiful.

Alice to Readers: Well, it’s been quite a day, hasn’t it? Couple of days after Christmas … coming up, New Year’s Day in another bunch of days. And another big rain apparently coming up. Well, it’s been great to talk to all of you and all the other beings.

We had such a ‘to do’ about the ETs. I guess there’s a lot of fear about ETs.

We just asked for the good ETs. Hathors … that was too much for them. And not Sekhmet. We just asked for the good ETs. And that’ll do it … just in case, because they’re here to protect us … us and the Birds and the Mammals. All the Mammals. Everybody. Okay. So, ask for the good ones. That’s what we arrived at.

I took a picture of Acorn Woodpecker. He is now in the movies. And that’s great because here on Gillette Ranch, there are always movies being made all the time. And it’s good to have a special film with Acorn Woodpecker in it, isn’t it? And all his family said hi to me. All of them.

Alice to unknown being: What is that?

Turtle: Don’t look at us, goddamn it all.

Alice: Now I think this might be a Reptile.

Turtle: Yeah, I’m a Reptile.

Alice: What are you?

Hummingbird: He says he’s a Reptile.

Turtle: Goddamit, I’m a Reptile!

Alice (repeating): ‘Turtle, Goddamn you.’ I heard that. Why did you say godamn you?

Turtle: Jesus Christ! I’ve been here for 73 years and I don’t like you to look my way. I don’t feel good right now …

Alice: I hope you get better, too. You hurt your leg? I hope you feel better and better and better. That’s a fine picture of you.

Alice to Readers: Curioser and curioser! Just as I left the Turtles I met a man on the bridge who said (telepathically): I spoke with the Turtle. He said he was 105 years old. [105 … not 73?]

The Turtle was having trouble finding a wife.

I said to the Turtle, “At our age, luckily, we don’t need one!”

How Do Mind Control Cults Use Grief and Family Differences to Cash In? A Bitter Tale . by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Readers, I’m fearful to say the names of the two mind-control groups I speak of below, because I’m concerned they might try to ‘capture’ me again. Please excuse my reticence in this. Regardless, I hope there will be plenty of useful information for you in this post.

This is NOT about “Healthy Happy Holy Organization’, which is a kundalini yoga group (and not a mind-control group).

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

This post has to do with my blog categories: Cults that kill – mind control cults … and Confidence games – Con artists and its subcategories. These categories are on the Contents page Law … https://awakeningwithplanetearth.com/contents-law/ ..

I received psychic impressions of some of the members of the groups took place as they pursued me psychically when I left the cults. These psychic impressions are the bulk of the basis for my blog category: Catastrophic childhood case studieshttps://awakeningwithplanetearth.com/catastrophic-childhood-case-studies/ ..

That category might offer insight into who and what you may be dealing with as a ‘cull’ or victim or ‘mark’ who is attempting to escape from  a mind control cult.

MIND CONTROL CULTS USE GRIEF TO CASH IN

Because of bitter experience as a dupe of two mind-control cults … one after the other … just after my mother’s passing (which was quite some years ago) I asked Google AI: How do mind control cults use grief to cash in?

Google AI said: “Mind control cults exploit individuals experiencing grief by identifying them as vulnerable targets, then using psychological manipulation techniques such as love-bombing, isolation, and fear-mongering to gain control over their lives and, ultimately, their finances.

The Recruitment Phase: Identifying and Grooming the Vulnerable

Cults intentionally target individuals during periods of significant life transitions or emotional distress, such as the loss of a loved one.

  • Targeting Vulnerability: People experiencing grief are often grappling with a search for meaning, purpose, and support, and they may feel lonely or isolated. This emotional state lowers their psychological defenses and makes them more susceptible to outside influence.
  • Love-Bombing: Initial contact often involves ‘love-bombing’, where the cult members shower the grieving individual with excessive affection, attention, and praise. This creates an immediate sense of belonging and a false support system, which is highly appealing to someone in emotional pain.
  • False Promises: The group and its leader promise solace, stability, and answers to existential questions surrounding death and suffering, presenting themselves as possessing unique knowledge or the “truth” that can alleviate the pain of loss.

The Indoctrination Phase: Establishing Control

Once the individual is emotionally invested, the cult begins a systematic process of control and dependency to ensure compliance, which is a prerequisite for financial exploitation.

  • Isolation: The cult works to sever the member’s ties to their existing family, friends, and jobs, creating an echo chamber where only the cult’s ideology is reinforced. This lack of external support forces the individual to rely solely on the group for validation and a sense of reality, making them dependent and afraid to leave.
  • Shame and Guilt: Leaders use fear and guilt to manipulate members into obedience, often suggesting that any problems they experience are their own fault or a result of not being committed enough to the group’s teachings. This shame surrounding one’s grief or ‘lack of faith’ for not fully moving on further binds them to the group’s ‘solutions’.
  • Physical and Emotional Exhaustion: Demanding schedules, including long hours of rituals, work, or study, are used to diminish critical thinking skills and make members more susceptible to indoctrination.

The Financial Exploitation Phase: Cashing In

With the member’s identity remade and their critical thinking impaired, the cult can begin to cash in on their dependency and control.

  • ‘Sacrificial Giving’: Members may first be asked to tithe part of their income, which gradually escalates into pressure for ‘sacrificial giving’ that ties belonging to financial contributions. The fear of rejection or damnation for not giving enough reinforces compliance.
  • Surrendering Assets: In extreme cases, members are compelled to surrender all their money, belongings, and property to the cult or its leader.
  • Forced Labor: Members may be forced to work long hours for little or no pay, essentially becoming ‘willing’ slaves for the profit or benefit of the leader.
  • Fear-Based Demands: Financial demands are often coupled with fear-mongering, such as apocalyptic prophecies or threats of catastrophic consequences for leaving, ensuring continued financial support out of desperation.

By systematically breaking down individuals’ autonomy and exploiting their raw emotional pain, mind control cults create a closed system that enables ongoing financial and emotional abuse.”

MIND CONTROL CULTS EXPLOIT FAMILY DIFFERENCES

I asked Google AI: How do mind control cults and exploit family differences?

Google AI said: “Mind control cults exploit family differences by using social isolation tactics to separate members from their support networks, thereby fostering dependence on the group. They target pre-existing family vulnerabilities and conflicts to weaken members’ autonomy and make them more susceptible to manipulation.

How Cults Exploit Family Differences

  • Targeting Vulnerability: Cults often recruit individuals during times of transition or stress, such as job changes or bereavement, when they may be more emotionally vulnerable or have existing poor family relationships.
  • Encouraging Isolation: A primary tactic is encouraging members to cut ties with non-member family and friends. This is achieved by disparaging or discrediting outside relationships, framing them as ‘worldly,’, ‘unspiritual’, or a threat to the member’s well-being or salvation.
  • Creating ‘Us vs. Them’ Mentality: The group fosters an ‘us vs. them’ or ‘saved vs. unsaved’ worldview, making members believe safety and truth exist only within the cult. Family members who raise concerns are portrayed as misguided, persecutors, or even ‘demonic’, reinforcing the member’s belief that they must distance themselves from their family.
  • Inducing Guilt and Unworthiness: Cults manipulate members’ emotions, making them feel that their former family life wasn’t ‘good enough’ or that their natural feelings and needs are selfish or wrong. This emotional control includes ‘identity guilt’ and ‘social guilt’, which weakens self-esteem and makes the individual more dependent on the group for validation.
  • Replacing Family with the Group: The cult creates a closed, highly controlled social environment that replaces the family unit, demanding rigid loyalty and attention. Members are often required to seek permission for major life decisions, effectively transferring all authority from the family (or self) to the cult leader.
  • Phobia Indoctrination: Cults instill irrational fears about leaving the group or questioning authority. Members are led to believe that terrible consequences, such as eternal suffering, insanity, or harm to their ex-family members, will befall them if they leave.
  • Manufacturing Conflict: Within the group, leaders may manufacture conflict or revive old alliances and antagonisms among members (or regarding outside family members) to maintain power and control.

By systematically eroding a member’s support network and sense of self, mind control groups create dependency and ensure obedience to the leader’s goals, which are often exploitative. For more information and support resources, consider visiting the International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA) [ … https://internationalculticstudies.org/ … ] website.”

CONCLUSION

Hope this is useful. You may be able to spot these tactics in groups around you, for instance. You might then ask: Is this a mind control cult? Is this a confidence gang? Is this some other group with similar tactics?

God bless you all
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days!

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Alice B. Clagett in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California.

There is a Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

This video is published on both my Youtube channels.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”
By Alice B. Clagett

Hello, everyone! Merry Christmas!

I was just outside a little after dawn …

[Can you hear what the Songbirds and the Coyotes are saying? Are there people speaking on the psychic plane?]

… and there was a special rainbow outside. It’s gone now though.

It really rained hard last night. And now the Sun is out. Let me show you. And
it’s a great day to celebrate Christmas.

[Shows Raven flying away.]

Alice to Raven: Mr. Raven! Yay. So long. Merry Christmas, Raven.

[Shows rainbow.] Oh, there’s the rainbow again. Wow. Nice, huh?

And here … over here … [shows Industrial Park] … the Sun is just striking
over there.

[Shows rainbow.] Nice. Where does that rainbow go?

Where did the rainbow go? I don’t know.

It did that just as the Sun went under the clouds again.

[Can you hear the man speaking on the telepathic plane?]

Rainbow. Beautiful rainbow. You have to wonder why it ends in the industrial park. Must
be something good going on over there.

[Pans to bright pink bougainvillea.]

Hummingbird to Alice: Merry Christmas!

Alice to Hummingbird: Merry Christmas!

Hummingbird to Alice: And Happy New Year!

Alice to Hummingbird: That’s right. Happy New Year.

Songbird 1 to Songbird 2: Say ‘Merry Christmas.’

Songbird 2 to Songbird 1: Thank you, Dee!

Alice to Songbirds: Yeah, that’s right. Merry Christmas.

Hummingbird to other Songbirds: She said, “Merry Christmas.”

Alice to Hummingbird: Right. Happy New Year!

Hummingbird to Alice: Happy New Year to you too!

Alice to Hummingbird and other Songbirds: Good work. You Songbirds know how to say that now. Pretty hard words to learn, too.

Hummingbird to other Songbirds: That is really true.

Alice to Hummingbird and other Songbirds: Good work. Good work.

God bless you all
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days!
