INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here is the fourth video filmed at Paramount Ranch, Santa Monica Mountains, California, on 4 October 2025. I am off exploring a new trail. I figure the birds and I can use ‘MUNtn LEE’ to disguise it when we talk about Mountain Lions. But my hand is called by a Young Raven.

Then the Songbirds try to get me to be very quiet because a Mountain Lion, they say, is lurking near a riparian area. Then it turns out this is a Bobcat with delusions of grandeur and not a Mountain Lion.

Beautiful countryside!

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

This is a video about the factors at play in alliances chosen by Ravens, which I feel to be very intelligent birds. Theirs I feel to be a highly adapted kind of intelligence.

Sometimes Ravens make alliances with humans, as is the case in Placerita Canyon Natural Area, Newhall, California. Sometimes Ravens make alliances with Coyotes and Mountain Lions, as is the case on Sandstone Peak Trail near Circle X Ranch Ranger Station in the Santa Monica Mountains, California.

Who helps the Ravens in a particular locale? Is it humans who help them get food, or do they depend for their food on animal predators that are high in the food chain? In the answer to these questions lies our ability to claim the Ravens as allies in that locale … or else our inability to do so.

What beings do human beings depend upon when they live in natural areas where there are only scattered groups of people? Might these isolated human beings be expected to relate to animals, whether predator or prey, in their area?

Might these people dream of skinchanging with large and fearsome animals such as bears, as at this link? … Video: “Wardruna – Birna (Official Music Video),” by wardruna, 6 December 2024 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLqNSAZEFjU ..

Might they take an animal as a totem, rather than a famous person?

The answer I feel to be yes. Those with whom the Ravens align in purpose, and those with whom Humans align in purpose depend upon the survival resources available in their immediate locale.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“Alliances AMONG Animals, and Human Alliances WITH Animals – 1 December 2024”
By Alice B. Clagett

You know, as to the types of alliances that Ravens form, I think in an area where there are more humans than other types of animals that they align with humans, and that in areas where there are very few humans they align with the top predators there.

You know, it only makes sense for their own survival.

I think humans find their alliances differently depending on whether they live in an area where there are very few people. [If so,] then they’re more likely to form alliances with the wild animals that can be helpful to them, don’t you think?

The Ravens in this place … at Walker Ranch … they’re aligned with humans. They’re friendly with humans I think.

The campers bring food for all the animals, and so we have an alignment. And so they help us to stay clear of the Mountain Lions.

But over near Tri-Peaks … on that tall trail [Sandstone Peak Trail] that goes up near the Ranger Station … it’s the opposite. The Ravens are aligned with the Mountain Lions and the Bobcats because there’s a deadfall place there [‘Deadfall’ is not quite the right word. It’s a landslide area at a curve in the trail that goes round a big boulder] where they can … especially In the heat of summer, when game is scarce … they can help the Predators to catch people.

And so the rolls are reversed there.

You have to be careful where you are [to know] who the Ravens align with, you know. They’re very intelligent, and they form alliances based on the community where they find themselves.

God bless you all,
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days.

In love, light and joy

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

The Feature is Part 2 of a telepathic encounter with a Mother Mountain Lion near the top of one of the Santa Monica Mountains. There are two Shorts; one has to do with why it is best not to talk to a mountain lion in the wild, and the second has to do with the manner of communication of such predators as coyotes, bobcats, and mountain lions.

There is an edited Summary after the video …

By Alice B. Clagett

FEATURE: Voice of Mother Mountain Lion 2

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

As you may know, near the top of this mountain I sensed a Mother Mountain Lion hunting for five cubs. The place where I sensed it in a level place where the chaparral was high on either side of the trail and there was only a narrow space where the trail was. So that made a good ambush point.

When it became apparent that something like that might be going on or contemplated, I headed back down the trail quite quickly rather than trying to get to the top of the mountain.

It was quite a long way down the mountain. On my way down there was another spot. On my right side, as I was descending, there was a sheer rock. Above the rock was a sheer cliff. Both the rock and the cliff were reddish in color.

At the place where the rock was near the trail, the trail went around the rock. sharply, in a semicircle. There at that spot there had been a washing down of the dirt. That made the cliff beneath the trail unstable, so the people that were working on the trail had placed a huge PVC sheet down the edge of the mountain that had been washed out.

In front of that, on the trail, between the landslide and the red rock … and closer to the landslide ….  they had put sawhorses that bespeak (i.e., ‘spoke to’) the danger that was there …

. . . . .

I was heading back towards that place. Just as I got to the point where I was to go around the semicircle I heard a ‘wish’ or you might say ‘black magic’ from the Mountain Lion Mother. The wish went like this: May she slip and slide.

Just at the moment the Mother Mountain Lion said that, I slipped and I started to slide! But I caught myself right away. Then I realized … as I was heading round the semicircle, that this was a perfect place to ambush game.

I asked the Mountain Lion Mother about it. She said they had not caught any humans there; that it was a place where they caught ‘antelope’. From that I gathered that this Mountain Lion that is on the mountain over there [points to mountain] with the cubs came from the north … maybe from Antelope Valley … in that area.

I sensed this Mother Mountain Lion tracking me all the way down to where I could see the cars down here right now [shows cars parked in parking lot far below, at the end of Sandstone Peak Trail].

. . . . .

There was a retinue of small and luscious-looking children, accompanied in a lackadaisical fashion by their parents, who were not from the United States and did not really know how dangerous Mountain Lions can be to tiny children … Even Coyote packs can drag off tiny children.

Some of these children were quite tiny and walking very slowly while holding their parents’ hand. That seemed safe to me. But others were about three feet tall … not in poor physical shape, but not at the age yet where a child displays great athletic prowess.

Those children, I felt, if all alone would have been an easy mark for the Mountain Lion Mother. So I asked people, as they came down the mountain, to make sure there were no straggler children of that age around.

As far as I can tell, it is a safe day for all concerned; I think so. It looks there are cars down in the parking lot still, so there are plenty of grown-ups in the group that are still descending the mountain.

This was a prophecy that I had earlier in the year, when there was so much rain: That there would be trouble with the Mountain Lions trying to feed their cubs at the time when the rains stopped and the abundance of easy prey stopped.

I have a concern for the hikers, especially those not in the know; especially hikers hiking alone and children hiking alone. I think it is very dangerous this summer. So please be safe, and be careful.

God bless you all,
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days.

In love, light and joy
This is Alice B. Clagett.
I Am of the Stars … and so are you!

[Grownup hikers are descending nearby.]  These are grownups, so I won’t bother to warn them about the possible danger to the children.

SHORT: I Am Advised Not to Talk to Mountain Lions!

Incidentally, Dear Ones, on the psychic plane, while I was on this hike, I was talking to a naturalists, or perhaps a ranger. He mentioned that I had made a huge mistake talking on the telepathic plane to that Mother Mountain Lion …

An animal howls: Aaooooo!

Alice to Readers: What was that? A coyote! Right?

Continuing with story: He said the Mountain Lions are attracted to people who talk to them. So, on the telepathic plane  I asked the Mother Mountain Lion about that. She said: If you call us, we will come.

And I asked the Mother Mountain Lion why they would do that. She said they want to see us.

An animal howls: Aaooooo!

Alice to Readers: There is that howl again. Can you hear it?

Continuing with story: So the was tracking me … either physically or visually … almost all the way down the mountain. And that had to do with the stupidity on my part, to try to attract her attention, to give her a call.

So I advise all of you: It is not such a good idea to talk to a Mountain Lion, unless you are with somebody else who is strong and capable like yourself. If you are all alone, or if you are still a child, I suggest against it. Why not talk to your parents about it and see what they say?

SHORT: Coyote, Bobcat, and Mountain Lion Lingo

I might mention also: I have found that predators … including Coyotes, Bobcats, and Mountain Lions … are not very talkative. They definitely keep under their hat all the methods they have developed which are very important to them for catching prey.

So they might notice … they visualize … they notice right away if you heading towards one of the places that is perfect for them to ambush or to trap you or to drag you into the underbrush. They notice it, but they do not say anything on the telepathic plane. As a clairvoyant, I can sometimes see them visualizing it.

Coyotes … because they are smaller. often do teamwork maneuvers. They have these things well worked out. I do not know whether they visualize it, or whether they telepathically talk about it. I have never been in that situation, so I cannot say. I can, however, aver that visualization is true of Mountain Lions.

They would never divulge to you clairaudiently something like this: Say! That place where the landslide is, is a perfect place for me to catch you! Please lose your step!

They never say a thing.

But you can catch it. You can catch how their breath stops. They are holding their breath, and they are waiting. There is a tense silence.

You have to figure these things out, I feel, if you want to hike these mountains this summer. Jus a thought!

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

What Being Likes the Roar of the Cars? Is It a Bobcat? Is It a Mountain Lion?
By Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

Well, so I found out who it is that’s talking in that low, slow voice that sounds a little like the cars racing down the road. They got angry with me for not liking the cars, and I guess that means they like the cars or the sound of the cars … [Did I ever get this wrong!]

So first I thought: Maybe it’s a Bobcat because they go ‘ROAR-R_R!’ all the time. And the somewhat lugubrious (that means sad), low, slow voice of the being said, “Yes. That’s what I am.”

{Nix! It was a Coyote down below, next to the cars.]

So then I heard someone else say: That voice is a little too strong for a being like that. It must be a bigger being.

[This is another voice … not a Coyote’s voice … higher up on the Ridge Line.]

And so I said: Could that voice be the voice of a Mountain Lion?

And the voice said: Oh, no! They know who I am. Oh, good heavens, they know who I am.

I said: Don’t worry. I won’t hurt you. [Talk about lame!]

And the voice said: Thank you very much for putting this metal tag on my ear. Thank you very much indeed for that.

And someone else said … in the same kind of voice it said: Oh, So you don’t like having us track you around!

And that was the end of that story.

. . . . .

I met a hiker just now, and he said he was just talking to himself. That was just him. On the telepathic plane, he said that.

[I think the hiker might have been referring to that comment to the Mountain Lion, implying the Mountain Lion was using its hunting prowess to track Humans around, and why then should Humans not use ear tags to track Mountain Lions around? Tit for tat, right?]

And I said: I certainly hope that’s all that was.

[This is one of my early encounters with Predator Talk. In the Santa Monica Mountains, that would be Coyote, Bobcat, or Mountain Lion. As a Lightworker, I am not that well attuned to Predator Talk. I am still trying to figure out for certain which of these beings I am talking to. It is a top priority for me, but I am still not one hundred percent sure what Predator I am hearing.]

God bless you all,
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days.

In love, light and joy

Human Male Roars at Mountain Lion

Near the beginning of this video a Human Male roars at a Mountain Lion that is stalking him …

Video: “Viral video shows cougar stalking Utah hiker in terrifying 6-minute encounter – FULL VIDEO | ABC7,” by ABC7, 12 October 2020 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ktRhBcHza4 ..

Mistakes of Diplomacy to Avoid When Being Stalked by a Cougar

With reference to the above-cited video …

I note what looked like a Baby Cougar walking out onto the road at the beginning of the video.

I note the hiker’s repeated mention of the Baby Cougars and his mention of how scary the Mother Cougar is may have provoked that Cougar’s quite blingy intimidation display at timeframes 2:47 -2:58 and 3:20 – 3:24 and 4:13 – 4:18 ..

I note the hiker’s mention of his gun (which he apparently did not find) did not daunt the Mountain Lion.

………………..
Sidebar: What the Mother Cougar Was Thinking

I note at timeframe 4:48 – 5:20 that the Human Male and the Mother Cougar said the following …

Human Male to Mother Cougar: Go get your babies! Go away! Oh! Damn.

Mother Cougar to herself (under her breath, simultaneously): Jesus Christ, it knows about my babies …

[Note non-gender-specific pronoun ‘it’, as if the Human Male were an animal whose gender is beneath the notice of the Cougar.]

Human Male to Mother Cougar: I just wanted to go on a run.

Mother Cougar to herself (under her breath): … and it might go back and murder them. What am I …

Human Male to Mother Cougar: Come on, Dude! Come on!

Mother Cougar to herself (under her breath): Oh, No! He wants me to attack him. Why is that? I’m not strong enough to attack him.

Human Male to Mother Cougar: Whoa!

Comments: We humans need to practice in order to produce intimidating Roars, I feel. Especially Human Women might want to perfect this technique.

I note several interspecies diplomatic mistakes on the part of the runner.

  • Never mention a Mother Predator’s babies to her. That will cause her to continue stalking and maybe to attack.
  • Never say anything ambiguous like “Come on, Dude! Come on!” You may not be intending to provoke an attack, but the Predator with whom you are talking may take your words literally.

………………..

I note at timeframe 5:38 – 5:42 it looks like the hiker used cayenne pepper spray … I can hear the ‘hiss … hiss’ of the expelled spray; can you hear it too? The Mother Cougar immediately turned tail and fled. So cayenne pepper spray is a very good thing for a hiker to carry.

NOTE: There is more on the above-referenced video here …

Link: “What to Do When a Mountain Lion Stalks You – or When People Mob You – or When You are Gaslit,” by Alice B. Clagett, written and published on 20 November 2025 … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-EWq ..

Is That a Bobcat, Blynx, Lynx-Cat, or Lynx?

I did research on Bobcat roars, and found out there is confusion about whether this animal or that is a Bobcat or a Lynx. Here in the Santa Monica Mountains of California there are no Lynxes, so there is no confusion.

Google AI says that Bobcats roar, so there is that.

The below-referenced video is about Bobcats, but there is some discussion on the telepathic plane as to whether they may be Lynxes. Very good ‘ROAR’ sound, regardless …

Video: “What a Scary Scream from Bobcats!!!” by WNAnimals, 12 June 2024 … https://youtube.com/shorts/ZR2KFOrMQfU?si=BTWMXzC0xQWAQe2S ..

I took a look at the images and the territory map at this link, which proved helpful …

Link: “How to Tell the Difference Between a Canada Lynx and a Bobcat,” by Hal Brindley, 19 January 2014, updated 26 March 2023 … https://www.travel4wildlife.com/tell-difference-between-canadian-lynx-bobcat/ ..

Here is a video about Bobcats. If the above is correct, it seems possible that some of the photos are of Lynxes?

Link: “8 Sounds Bobcats Make and What Each Means,” written by Megan Martin, 15 August 2024 … https://a-z-animals.com/animals/bobcat/bobcat-facts/sounds-bobcats-make/ ..

According to Google AI, “Lynx canadensis and bobcats do interbreed in the wild, producing fertile offspring often referred to as “blynx” or “lynx-cat”. Documented mostly in the northeastern US and Canada, these hybrids occur when habitats overlap, particularly as warmer winters allow bobcats to move into northern lynx territories.”

So maybe some of the ‘Bobcats’ in the above citation are Blynxes or Lynx-Cats? If you take a look at the video in “4. Growls” in the above citation, you will see that is definitely about Bobcats, and that they are belting out thinnish but impressive ‘Roar’ ‘Roar’ …

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here is a video on the topic: Will I be eaten in the wildlands? Will I eat Mister Rabbit? What is up with devourment? And … Guys, what’s so funny! I am a laughingstock yet!

The video features more on bird communication and songbird language.

Songbird language is very different from ours, and there are some odd twists and turns – like the tendency to sing and to repeat a phrase 2 or 3 times.

Think of the fictional Jar Jar Binks of Star Wars – He was a sentient being, but very different in form, speech and manner from the Jedi masters.

It is easy to overlook or minimize sentience in form or voice different from our own. If the Jedi masters did so, then it is no wonder we normal humans overlook and minimize the Songbirds!

There is a Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

I Won’t Eat You!
By Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I heard a voice telepathically … a very calm voice. It said, “You have to be out on a lookout for wild animals through there [along that path]. So I thought: If there are any wild animals maybe I’ll get a video of them.

[Alice decides to turn around and retrace here steps.]

Songbird 1 (nearby) to Songbird 2 (farther away): She is returning, returning, returning!

Alice to Readers: Songbirds have much better hearing than we humans do. Because of that, their conversation is very difficult for us to hear. Listen very closely! Listen to very faint sounds too.

Songbird 3 (from afar): What did she say?

Songbird 2 (closer): She says, ‘Returning, returning’.

Songbird 1 (nearby): Me too, me too, me too!

Alice to Readers: I think I have to go back this way …

Alice begins to hum the Lion Song …

I don’t know about this trail right here … Ocean View Trail. I get the weirdest feeling that there are Mountain Lions there. I think I’ll go another way … this way.

Alice to Mountain Lions: Goodbye, Mrs. Mountain Lion. So long. so long, Mister Mountain Lion. ‘Bye!

Alice to Readers: So I was walking along, trying to figure out if it was a Mountain Lion or what. And when I said, ‘Goodbye, Mrs. Mountain Lion … Goodbye, Mister Mountain Lion’ … I didn’t hear a thing.

And then, on the telepathic plane, I said: Was that a Raven?

Then I heard: No, It was not a Raven.

So I’m walking along ,and then I said: Was that a Bobcat?

And then, from far away, I heard a female voice that said; All right. It was a Bobcat

Alice to Readers: Do you think it was a Bobcat?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Yes, we think it may be.

Alice to Readers: Well, I was talking to the Songbirds …

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Alice to Readers (continued) … because they’re quite a referral source. And they said  …

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Songbird 2 [prescient!] to Alice: She she she wants to know why they think they’re Mountain Lions.

Alice to Readers (continued): … there was a Bobcat …

Songbird 1 to Alice: Please don’t talk about us!

Alice to Readers (continued): … but they [the Bobcats] think they’re Mountain Lions.

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Alice to Songbird 1: Why do they think they’re Mountain Lions?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Songbird 2 to Alice: She she she wants to know why they do.

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Alice to Readers: Because they’re really really fierce beings?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Songbird 2 to Alice: She she she really wants to know this.

Alice to Readers: I think …

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Alice to Readers (continued): … that’s why they feel that way?

[Alice spots one of the Songbirds.] It’s that one that’s warning me to stay away .I bet I’m near a nest.

Songbird 1 to Alice: JEsus! …. Stoooop!

[I can tell I ought never mention the word ‘nest’ around a Songbird. Big faux pas just now!]

Songbird 2 to Alice: Would you please never mention our nest at all?

Alice to Rabbit: Mister Rabbit! Where are you?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Songbird 2 to Alice: Would you please stop talking with the Rabbit?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop!

Alice to Rabbit: Where did you go?

Songbird 1 to Alice: Stoooop! ,,, Stoooop!

Songbird 2 to Alice: People are eating the Rabbits. That’s why she went away.

Alice to Rabbit: Where did you go? … Mister Rabbit? …

Songbird 1 to Songbird 2 (tittering quietly): Tsk! Where is Mister Rabbit? He’s right here!

Alice to Rabbit: Where is Mister Rabbit?

Songbird 2: He’s right here. He’s right here. That’s what.

Alice to Rabbit: Oh, There you are! Look at that great Rabbit! [Rabbit see’s that I have spotted it and runs away.] …

Alice to Rabbit: LOOK at you!

Songbird 2 to Songbird 1: Did she see the Rabbit?

Rabbit to Songbird 1: I think she wants to eat me.

Songbird 1 to Songbird 2: She [the Rabbit] says she eats her, she eats her!

Songbird 2 to Songbird 1: What?

Alice to Rabbit: I won’t eat YOU. Oh  heck no!

Rabbit to Songbird 1: I am convinced that’s what she had in mind.

Songbird 2 to Songbird 1: What?

Songbird 1 to Songbird 2: She says she will not eat her, will not eat her, will not eat her!

Alice to Rabbit: I LIKE you. I won’t eat you!

Rabbit to Songbirds: Yes, she will if she gets an unbelievable chance. You all don’t think she would, but I think she would.

Songbird 2 to Songbird 1: What?

Raven 1 to Raven 2: HA ha ha!

Raven 2 to Raven 1: What?!

Rabbit to Birds: WON’T eat her! That’s a very funny thing.

Songbird 2 to Rabbit: Yes, it is.

Rabbit to Songbird 2: Oh God, that’s very funny.

Raven to everyone: Ha ha ha HA ha ha! HA ha ha! HA ha ha!

Songbird 2 to other Birds: Hunh! … and simultaneously …

Songbird 1 to other Birds: Huh! Me too, me too, me too!

Songbirds: WHAT? Ehhh!

Raven 1 to other Birds: She says she will not eat her! WAH ha ha! (and on and on)!

Alice to herself: Egads! I’m a laughingstock again!

. . . . .

That’s all for now, Dear Ones.

In love, light and joy
