Here is a description of animal group souls from “The Causal Body and the Ego,” by Arthur E. Powell. Theosophy holds that animals have group souls. For instance, all dogs, they feel, share but one group soul. Here is the quotation …
“Group–Souls, which exist in the mineral, vegetable, and animal kingdoms thus represent intermediate stages leading up to complete differentiation into separate human entities or units. Hence in the three kingdoms mentioned, we do not find one soul in a block of mineral, or a plant or an animal. Instead of this, we find one block of life – it we may use such a term – ensouling , a vast quantity of mineral substance, a large number of plants or trees, or a number of animals. Into the details of these we will enter later, confining ourselves for the moment to a consideration of the general function and purpose of the Group-Souls.
“The best physical analogy of a Group-Soul is perhaps the oriental one of water in a bucket. If a glassful of water be taken from the bucket, it represents, the soul—or portion of soul—of say , a single plant or animal. For the time being, the water in the glass is quite separate from that in the bucket, and, moreover, it takes the shape of the glass which contains it.
“So may a portion of a Group-Soul occupy and vivify a vegetable or animal form.
“An animal, during its life on the physical plane, and for some time after that in the astral world – has a soul, just as separate as a man’s; but when the animal comes to the end of its astral life, that soul does not reincarnate in a single body, but returns to the group-soul, which is a kind of reservoir of soul-matter.
“The death of the animal would thus, in our analogy, be represented by pouring water from the glass back into the bucket. Just as the water from the glass becomes thoroughly mixed and united with the water in the bucket, so does the portion of the soul from the particular animal become mixed and incorporated, with the total soul in the Group-Soul. And just as it would not be possible, to take again from the bucket another glassful consisting of the same molecules of water, so is it not possible for the same portion of the total soul in the Group Soul to inhabit another particular animal form.
“Continuing the analogy further, it is clear that we could fill many glasses with water from the bucket at the same time: equally is it possible for many animal forms to be ensouled and vivified by the same Group-Soul.
“Further, if we suppose that any given glassful of water becomes coloured with a distinctive hue of its own, then, when the water is poured back into the bucket , that colouring matter will be distributed throughout the whole of the water in the bucket, the colour of all the water in the bucket being thereby to some extent modified.
“If we consider the colouring matter to represent experiences or qualities acquired by a particular animal, then, when the portion of soul vivifying that animal returns to its parent Group-Soul, those experiences or qualities will become part of the general stock of the whole Group-Soul and be shared by every other part of it equally, though in a lesser degree than that in which the experience existed in the particular animal to whom it occurred; i.e., we may say that the experiences concentrated in a particular animal are spread, in a diluted form, over the whole Group-Soul to which the animal is attached.” (1)

THEOSOPHY ON INDIVIDUALISATION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS
INDIVIDUALISATION, INDIVIDUATION, AND ENLIGHTENMENT
Dear Ones,
Here is an explanation from “The Causal Body and the Ego,” by Arthur E. Powell, regarding how house pets move from sharing an animal group soul to having an individual Soul. This process is known, in the School of Theosophy, as individualisation, or in modern spelling, individualization. After that is a description of how this Theosophical concept differs from the Jungian notion of individuation and the concept of enlightenment.
THEOSOPHY ON INDIVIDUALISATION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS
“Large numbers of the higher domestic animals have reached this stage [“when there is only one animal form attached to the Group-Soul”] and have really become separate entities, incarnating in a succession of animal bodies; although they have not as yet, of course, attained to the possession of a causal body – the true mark of individualisation . . .
“. . . any animal which is now attaining, or even approaching individualisation, must be very remarkably in advance of the others, and the number of such cases is consequently very small. Nevertheless, they do occasionally occur. Close association with man is necessary to produce this result . . .
“We may note two factors at work:
“1) the emotions and thoughts of the man act constantly upon those of the animal, and tend to raise him to a higher level both emotionally and intellectually;
“2) the animal, if kindly treated, develops, devoted affection for his human friend, and also unfolds his intellectual powers in trying to understand that friend and anticipate his wishes.
“It has been found that individualisation, which lifts an entity definitely from the animal kingdom into the human, can take place only for certain kinds of animals,—one for each of the seven great types or ‘rays’. In fact, it is only among domesticated creatures, and by no means among all classes, even of these, that individualisation occurs. Of these classes, we already know certainly the elephant, the monkey, the dog and cat. The horse is possibly a fifth.
“Up to each of these heads of types leads a long line of wild animals, which has not been fully investigated. It is known, however, that wolves, foxes, jackals, and all such creatures culminate in the dog: lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars and ocelots culminate in the domestic cat.”

INDIVIDUALISATION, INDIVIDUATION, AND ENLIGHTENMENT
I note that individualisation, in the Theosophical sense, or integration of a causal body amongst the subtle bodies, is different from the Jungian notion of individuation. This latter … individuation through self-actualization … is one step in the process of enlightenment. Another is integration of the conscious mind with the superconscious mind.
The result is auric integration: lower triangle (subconscious mind) combined with fourth through seventh chakras (conscious mind). And that combined with the 8th through the 12th chakras.
Then there may be expansion, in a mystical sense, to become one with Gaia, with our Solar System, with our Milky Way, with our Universe, and with the Multiverse. This may take place as we move on, to Awareness of the unformed dimensions past the transpersonal formed dimensions. See …

THE HUMAN NOETIC FIELD
Here is an interesting passage on the human mind as a ‘spiritual faculty’ and ‘nous’ as the ‘wind’ that shapes creation. The word ‘noetic’ is an adjective related to the noun ‘nous’.
The source noted above refers to the human ‘noetic field’ or ‘noetic matrix’. This is roughly equivalent to what I call the human electromagnetic field. The School of Theosophy might consider it to be a person’s astral body, lower mental body, and higher mental body. New Age sources often call it the human ‘aura’.
THE NOOSPHERE OF EARTH
There is another word, ‘noosphere’, which derives from the same root ‘noos’; it means ‘the sphere of human thought’ …
Thus the human ‘noetic field’ might be considered a very small part, or fractal, of the Earth ‘noosphere’.
THE UNCONSCIOUS THOUGHT CLOUD OF THE WORLD
There is both Awareness and lack of Awareness in Earth’s noosphere. That portion of the energies of the noosphere upon which Awareness is not placed … such as those emotions and thought-forms repressed (or one might say, ‘disowned’) because of societal expectations, I term the ‘unconscious thought cloud of the world’.
SATAN: RULER OF THE UNCONSCIOUS THOUGHT CLOUD OF THE WORLD
This unconscious portion of the noosphere is ruled by a negatively aspected being with superconscious intelligence. That being is what Christians term Satan. This being, with great cunning, weaves and wends the dense energies of the unconscious thought cloud of the world … energies primarily of threat, rage, and fear … here and there, attacking first one person, then another. Attacks occur ‘when the stars are right’ … as this being is intimately conversant with the energies of the stars, and when they are in his favor.

… allowed strikes by Satan and his minions to be made with pinpoint precision prior to the 2012 Shift. Now, however, the process of Awakening is causing accurate application of the Sabian Symbols less and less probable.
THE DECREASING ACCURACY OF THE SABIAN SYMBOLS
As the Awakening continues, human beings are arising in flocks of Souls, to ever greater Awareness. Less and less of the noosphere is involved in energies of the unconscious mind. Already, the power of Satan has greatly waned, and this attenuation of his force field will continue, until he is gone from this place forever.
THE IMMINENT EVOLUTION OF SENTIENT EARTHLY BEINGS FROM A MIND/BODY/SPIRIT SOCIAL COMPLEX INTO A SOCIAL MEMORY COMPLEX
What will be left as ‘noosphere’ after the unconscious thought cloud of the world is gone? At that point the ‘Hue’, the conscious beings on Earth (which will, I feel, include other species than us humans) will have evolved into what the Law of One terms a Social Memory Complex. According to the Law of One, a mind/body/spirit social complex (which is what Earth was before the 2012 Shift) becomes a Social Memory Complex when all its members ‘are of one seeking’.
That is to say, when the noetic fields of individual sentient beings accurately reflect a planet’s noosphere. This happens when the ‘group memory’ … the ‘collective unconscious’ or ‘unconscious thought cloud of the world’, and the archetypes on which the social complex is constructed … are revealed to the sentient beings. The Law of One refers to these group memories as being ‘lost’ in the very lowest parts of the ‘tree of mind’ … the tree ‘roots’.

At the point where the ‘roots’ of the noosphere are revealed, then Earth’s sentient beings, the ‘Hue’, will shine forth as completely aware co-creators, with her, of the beautiful noosphere of our planet. That is a day much anticipated, and soon to be experienced by many.

Gut brain telepathy is just the gut brain talking, not the conscious mind.
This is the telepathic activity of the isolated neurons in the viscera … the intestines and organs there.
On the astral plane, gut brain telepathy is associated with the first, second and third chakra … the area of the body called the Lower Mental Body, the lower triangle or the desire elemental.
Gut brain telepathic topics are very predictable:
First chakra: Survival, fear of death, safety, personal security;
Second chakra: Sexuality, animal lust;
Third chakra: Forcing one’s way in the world, rampant ego (“I am everything! Death to all but me!”).
The gut brains, the unconscious minds, of the people in the groups we belong to are talking to us telepathically all the time. This happens especially at night.
If the ideas of the people in the groups we belong to are different from our own ideas, then at night we will be inundated with the unconscious telepathic ideas of people in the groups we belong to.
Thus it falls upon us to carefully choose which groups we wish to align with.
Also, we must cut the astral cords that bind us to other people and fill our energy bodies with light. No one else can do this for us.

… sometimes you will see a bald eagle circling, but it is leery of the people. I have been trying to get a shot of it for you, but it is very leery of people.
So this is the opposite end when where they were fishing [speaking of the place where sitting] … This is the outlet to the aqueduct, over here; it goes off into the farm country behind me. And I found a place to prop up my camera, which is a big help.
So, I wanted to talk a little bit about groups, as we are going through the Ascension process.
You know, everybody is getting telepathic these days; and that is the truth. And as I have written about a little, apparently there are quite a few different kinds of telepathy. And I am only familiar with the first two kinds, so we will talk a little about that.
Telepathy That Comes from the Throat and Head
There is a kind of telepathy that comes from the throat and the head; and that kind of telepathy has mental ideas in it: It has logic, and reason, and intuition. And it is a nice kind of telepathy, because people are speaking from a kind of a civilized point of view to each other.
Discovery of Gut Brain Telepathy
Then there is another kind of telepathy. I just read, quite recently, a Scientific American article that was published in 2010 …
And it was about the intestines, the gut, and how they are aligned with neurons. And these neurons form brain cells … and they form what you might call a second brain. And this explains a lot of the experiences I have been having in the last two years.
Alarming Things that Other People’s Gut Brains Talk About Telepathically
Because I have been hearing telepathic communications that are not logical; that have to do with the first few chakras …
with survival, fear of death, fear for personal security, safety; that is the first chakra in the old system.
Then problems with sexuality and lust, in an animal sort of way … Apparently we have these instincts, but our thinking brain keeps a grip on them. But telepathically, like groups of animals, we are transmitting these.
And then there is a third chakra, and that has to do with forcing one’s way in the world, in the bad sense; it has to do with rampant ego, in the bad sense, and just: I am everything! And if I am not everything, then I will soon be everything! Death to all but me! … that kind of thing.
Of course, as the chakras are cleared, it is nothing like that. But right now, in the world today, there is a lot of clearing to do in the lower chakras, if you know what I mean.
On Taking Other People’s Gut Brain Telepathic Messages with a Grain of Salt
So, what I have been hearing, is the gut brain of other people talking to me. And for a long time, I did not know it was just the gut brain; I thought I was being threatened. And I thought that other people were sexually attacking me. And I thought, maybe I would die, or maybe somebody would kill me, because I was not them, you know? … a lot of stuff!
And so I would have anxiety sessions, and all kinds of things would come up. And then finally one day, I realized that it was just people’s gut talking to me. And from that, I derived an understanding of something interesting, that we might want to consider …
How Group Members Exchange Telepathic Messages While Asleep
As we ascend, you know, things are changing a lot. What it is … it might be because of astral cording … I do not really know the mechanism … But the groups that we belong to … Could be a work group; it might be a spiritual group; it might be the people at the supermarket; it could be a family group … any group that we feel an affiliation for … Their gut brain, the gut brain of those that we feel close to, is somehow talking to our gut brain. Believe it or not!
So we want to be careful about our allegiance to groups. Because what I am finding is that groups have set ideas about what our heart should be and do. But we have a duty to our own heart: To feel it, and know it, and act on that, on that heart.
But when we have these gut attachments to other people, all night long … believe it or not! … our gut is talking to their gut. And if their ideas are different from ours, we are constantly being inundated by those ideas; to the point where it is hard for us, in our daily lives …
When we wake up, then we have to wonder where these ideas came from, floating through the Collective Subconscious or the Unconscious Thought Cloud of our dreams, and into our brains. And in the morning, we wake up, and there they are. We do not know from where they came.
Admonition to Feel Our Hearts and Be Careful Who We Associate With
So, it falls upon us to always feel our heart. And to be very careful about who we associate with. And to do our best to cut our psychic cords, and fill our aura with Light.
I hope this was very clear to you. I think that we will all be discovering it on an empirical basis, as time goes on … or does not go on, as the case may be … because they say there is no Time in the Fifth Dimension. But it seems like there is still time, to us, even though the days flip by very quickly now.
And I think that we will all start noticing the effect of groups on us. And so, when you do, I hope you do not freak out like I did. And, know that there is plenty of help available from higher beings, so we can relate to them. Or, we can relate to our own pranic tube … aka our pranic column, our central vertical power current,antahkarana, silver cord, silver thread, or column of Light … instead of relating to the groups.
Hoping the Posse Will Not Be Hunting Down the Messenger!
Now, I do not know about you, but this information fell on my brain with a thud! And I was very attached to various groups. And it took a while to sink in, what was really going on. And so, I hope it does not fall with a thud on your brain. And that you just consider it as a possibility. Maybe it will fit the facts of your own life, and maybe it will not.
And so: Consciously grouping. Carefully grouping. Or maybe not grouping, and just being ‘I Am I” … you know?
