On Meeting Living Expenses in the San Fernando Valley . by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

It seems to me … it could be … that the economy is slowing down … don’t you feel that? I feel the crux of the issue is, people in the San Fernando Valley cannot afford to live here because of the cost of water.

And that people are looking around for a ‘second income stream’ with which to pay the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s extortionate ‘water rent’ … the cost of which has tripled in the last 10 years. Heaven knows, no one wants to be homeless. Clearly this fate has befallen many, here in the Valley.

The presence of homeless people on our streets, in food stores, and in restaurants is a cogent warning: It puts residents under greater pressure to get together enough cash for living expenses.

A person who offers home repair might be also looking for houses to burglarize on the side now, to help keep their families afloat during these hard times … whereas, in the past, they might never have considered this. In the same way, local businesses that provide ‘drive home’ services for their customers might have drivers who tip their extended circle of friends or family off about possible places to burglarize.

People who own a business in the Valley might consider offering their customers’ credit card information to their extended families to use for personal purchases, whereas before they might never have done so.

On the positive side, last year it seemed family groups were shoplifting and purse snatching at the local stores; fortunately it looks like law enforcement has put an end to this, and that is a good start.

A lasting solution to these unlawful ‘second income stream’ activities, I feel, will only come about by providing affordable housing, and affordable water and other utilities, here in the Valley. Everyone has their own ideas about how to do this.

My thought is, to allow greater Los Angeles communities the choice to lift housing code restrictions for a 10-year interval, so that during that time family, friends, or even homeless could be affordably housed in tiny houses or spare rooms in people’s houses.

Then they can get work locally, even at minimum wage, and still get by. It may help homeowners in communities so choosing, as their new tenants would be helping to pay living expenses.

A further help would be to petition that the Department of Water and Power (DWP) peg the cost of water to the availability of water locally.

I notice that this winter we have plenty of rainfall; what, then, prevents the price of water from being lowered back down to a reasonable rate? Then in future years, if water is scarce, we might consider upping the price of water once more.

Well, those are my ideas. No doubt you will have your own solutions to offer, as well.

In love, light and joy

TRANSCRIPTION OF THE SOUNDTRACK

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

Changing Standard of Living in America, and Return to Sustainable Living

I was working late tonight, and I listened in on a person who was not feeling very well. He said he had bone cancer, and his concern was that he was not living up to his own expectations with regard to a livelihood.

A lot of people are in that situation right now, because America is turning from a very vibrantly growing economy … which had been agrarian, and then changed to a more industrial and factory and information technology work … all different kinds of work indoors … and with a raised level of living, including everybody moving into their own homes … often single-family … people moving into homes with each generation in a separate home … and lots of electronic equipment, and other kinds of good things that people got, that were a sign to them that we had made progress as a nation.

We are changing now. America is changing. It is coming on a different sort of time now, with a lowering of the general living standard, and a return to hands-on work. Sustainable, subsistence living and the pioneer spirit will do us well, in these days.

And so the feeling that this person has … this person that was feeling physically ill … feeling aches in the body, for instance … is a feeling that many people have today, here in America: That things are not going that well; that things are going downhill.

Things are changing; that is the truth. And they are changing all over America. It is not a specific situation for any one of us; all of us are enduring this change.

Bone Aches and the Metaphor ‘I Can’t Bear It!’

Getting more into the specifics of this particular person, as it turned out, I spoke with his body cells. He said his bones ached. He said he had a diagnosis of bone cancer. I spoke with his body cells, and asked them how they were doing.

What they told me was (in a sad, resigned voice): I can’t bear it!

Apparently this is a saying … a metaphor … that the person in question had been saying to them … or to himself … subconsciously, for a long time. And the bone cells, which bear the weight of the body, took it personally. So they were feeling pretty sick; they were feeling pretty sad … because, as you may know, the body cells exist on Joy .. not on upset and despair and anger, and all those other negative emotions. They exist, and feel healthy, because they feel Joy and love and Light and peace.

For the Healer: Devising and Placing a Positive Metaphor in the Injured Body Cells

As healers, what we have to do, when we come across these metaphors that create physical illness … these subconscious malspeak programs that create illnesses … is to come up with something that turns it around in the other direction … something that uses a similar metaphor, but a positive metaphor. I came up with this one …

I spoke directly to the body cells of the other person, and I said (in a lilting, joyful tone of voice): I bear up perfectly well! I bear up perfectly well!

They were very excited about it; they were joyful about it. They started to say that too: I bear up perfectly well!

And I said: That’s right! You do!

Then I spoke with the person involved, because the person also needs to change the jingle (or you might say, the ‘jingo jingle’ that makes war on the body), the motto, the subconscious malspeak, into what you might call ‘goodspeak’.

So I asked him … since his situation was acute … with every breath, to say: I bear up perfectly well!

And he agreed to write it down. Maybe he will do it!

On Outfoxing the Prognostic Mind-Set of Western Medical Practitioners

The trouble, in this kind of situation, is that Western medicine quite frequently makes a diagnosis and expects a certain result. It is not quick to recognize that the situation has changed.

And yet, amongst patients, the situation changes dramatically, all the time.

It is up to a patient to know when he is getting better; and not to pay so much attention to what the doctors say about it, until they finally realize that this is true.

In this context of a ‘set in concrete’ diagnosis and prognosis (‘prognosis’ is the expected outcome) … it is possible that the attitude of a doctor or a nurse can negatively influence the outcome for a patient, even if the patient is starting to get better.

If, in his heart, the patient feels that this is happening, he needs to place himself in an environment where people are supportive of spontaneous healing. He can still take advantage of all the wonderful things that Western medicine has to offer, but he can absent himself from the malspeak of people in the Western medical profession who are slow to realize that spontaneous healing is taking place. You understand what I mean? …

All right; you all take care. Love you lots. Good luck with spontaneous healings worldwide. I hope it happens now … right this very moment, now!

In love, light and joy

Dear Ones,

INTRODUCTION

This is a description of a vision I had  … the vision of the Red Gila … as I recall, on a night after a day or so of rain in Los Angeles, most likely on 9 January 2018.

  • There was a ‘swooping in’ to the persona of an antisocial personality and his wife, maybe at Caltech or some place a little like that;
  • then a ‘swooping on’ to the persona of a young girl trying to hide in a restroom in a public park at night;
  • then onward to a young woman walking down a maze of streets;
  • and then on to a vision of a place by a country road where 16 people lay buried .. . drowned in an underground cavern after a rainfall.
  • Then there is a prayer for the disadvantaged peoples of Earth.

There is an edited Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I thought I would tell you a story … It is about a dream like a nightmare I had three or four days ago … It was a very vivid nightmare that woke me up. And I do not know the significance of it.

I remember that it happened during two days of heavy rain in Los Angeles, most likely on 9 January 2018. There were days when the streets were flooding up above the curbs, because there is not a lot of rain in Los Angeles, and they do not plan the grade of the streets according to the water flow that happens when there is a storm that continues, with rain falling all day long. And that happens once or twice a year, that the streets get flooded up.

And so, in the middle of the night, while it was raining, there may have been a different sound in the air: A sound on the roof; a sound outside, where the rain was hitting the ground; and so forth. And I wonder if that may have had something to do with this nightmare that I had that night, and some other nightmares that have happened since then.

Alice’s First Dream: The University Man Who Was a Member of the Army of the Night [The Doc]

Anyway, it went like this: There was a city dreamscape, maybe in Pasadena. It seemed like Pasadena, but no real place there, you know … with high freeways soaring above valleys that included residential districts. It was easy to get lost on these elevated freeways … traffic was zipping along. Off one ramp was a college campus.

It might have been a place like Caltech, or maybe some other university in the Pasadena area. I have only been to Caltech once or twice; I do not remember any place like that. It was just a feeling; a place like that, I think.

There was a person there, who was living with a woman. He was an antisocial personality; he would go out at night, and stalk the people there, on the college campus. What they call, on the astral airs, an army of the night kind of guy.

It was like I dropped, or dipped, into his consciousness, got a gander of his life there, and then stepped back out.

Alice’s Second Dream: The Young, Homeless Woman in the Public Restroom

So that was the first. And then I woke with a dream of being in a very small restroom … on the East Coast, it seemed like, or maybe Europe … a woman’s restroom. I was homeless. It was a young woman, I think; I am not sure. It was a woman, though.

And she was in this very small restroom, in a park, trying to find a way to get a few minutes of rest, and at the same time, protect herself from any men that might enter there and try to exert violence over her, as it was nighttime.

But I remember she had a very positive attitude: She said she was sure that someone would come in, and offer to take her home and take care of her … like that.

Alice’s Third Dream: The Young Woman Walking in a Maze of Streets

Full of concern over that dream, I segued into another dream; an even worse dream. There was a young woman; it was as if she were walking through a series of streets … kind of complicated streets, like sometimes in Europe and on the East Coast there are streets that just do not make much sense.

They are not laid out in an orderly fashion, like they frequently are, here in California. But rather, they simply sprang up, with time, here and there, centuries ago, when our nation was first founded. Or in Europe, it is probably the same way, sometimes. So, there would be streets that would meld together, and would not make much sense, in terms of ways of getting from one street to the other, and so forth.

That same person, or another young, homeless woman was walking along those streets, and knew them very well, and had stayed in a certain place, by some body of water, I think; and was then back in this urban area, and was walking along.

Alice’s Fourth Dream: The Red Gila [The Migrant]

And all of a sudden, the road changed, and the person changed. The scene changed to a place like the California or Arizona countryside. It was mostly barren and mountainous. And I saw first, a strange creature by the side of the dirt road.

It kind of reddish; a rusty orangish reddish brown color. And it looked like a fat-bodied snake 1 1/2 or 2 feet long. Then when I looked closely, I saw that it had tiny legs on it, like a lizard might. They did not look very functional, but it had legs.

Image: “A Reticulate Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum suspectum),” by Jeff Servoss, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Reticulate_Gila_Monster.jpg … public domain

Image: “A Reticulate Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum suspectum),” by Jeff Servoss, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Reticulate_Gila_Monster.jpg … public domain

This creature was right beside a tiny bush on the north side of the dirt road or path which I was walking along in an easterly direction. The mountains were across a lower stretch of desert, to the north of the dirt road or path.

Then it was not the young woman, but I who was there. I went for my camcorder to record the creature, and looked back, and it was gone.

So first there was that vision of the creature; I do not know … Was it a Red Gila? Was it the orange snake? I just do not know.

Alice’s Fifth Dream: Death by Drowning of 16 People in a Dugout in the Mountains [The Migrant]

And then I saw a man’s leg; he was standing on the north edge of the path, by what looked like two coyote holes above a little ridge that let down, by maybe a gradual, erosion-worn, 20 foot drop of ochre-colored Earth, to the lower desert land between the road and the mountain range.

I do not know if you know about coyote holes. They are not very big; they are just about everywhere, out here in California. They are dug into the dirt, and they are only about 6 inches wide … maybe 4 inches wide. And yet they can get down in there.

But one of the holes I saw by the man’s leg was much bigger; it were maybe 1 1/2 feet wide; a hole that went down into the Earth by the side of the road over the decline where the level of the dirt declined pretty fast.

Six to 10 feet lower, there was another hole that went down into the dirt. And past that, the level of the Earth continued to tumble and cascade down, into the valley that overlooked a high mountain in the distance.

What I intuited, all in a flash, was that the rains had come down, coursing down the dirt road, and they had not damaged the surface of the road. But when they got to that hole there, at the top, beside the road, they had filled it up with mud.

I saw the man standing, with sorrow in his heart. I saw not his face, but his foot, with a hiking or running shoe … the kind with the tread on it … stamping down into the firm but damp Earth.

I could see, when he removed his foot, where the sole of his shoe had been; you know how, sometimes you can see tracks of hikers, in the mountains when you walk, or on the beach? Like that.

And the feeling that I got was that maybe 16 people lay buried in that place … that there was an underground chamber there, that had filled with water. And mud had come down, and prevented them from getting out.

The chamber had collapsed. There were some women and children, along with the men there. And they had all died during the rains.

This person who knew about their place, their home in the Earth, had stopped by and heard them, he said. He had heard them crying out, from deep in the Earth, and saying that the water had slowly risen up, inside the dugout, and that they could not get away. And then … he said … their cries stopped.

That was the end of that terrible sequence of dreams, which I vividly remember still, and am attempting to figure out. I am sorry to say that sometimes the prophet does not have the answer, I guess.

. . . . .

“Prayer for Homeless and the Homed”
by Alice B. Clagett
13 January 2018

I pray for all those who live in the mountains,
who have homes burrowed into the Earth,
all over California.

I pray that they may be safe;
that they have enough to eat;
and that they should have happy and fulfilled lives,
just as might all beings everywhere.

I pray that this may be so.

. . . . .

Conclusion

For me, this vision is a heads up that much needs to be done, all over the world, for the disadvantaged peoples of Earth.

God bless you all, and keep you safe, and give you all that you need for a happy and fulfilled life on Earth.

In love, light and joy

Hackster? . by Alice B. Clagett

Written and published on 7 January 2018; later in the day, the information in green font was added. The text in blue font was added on 8 January 2018.

Dear Ones,

I have been getting some astral intel regarding hacking and tracking personal computers and vehicles that I thought I would share. I have not researched this to speak of, so I do not have a clue whether it is really true, or whether it just represents fears that people may have about technology?

Anyway, if this has not been looked into, as to whether it is or is not true, then naturally, I feel it would be good to find out about it. I myself hope none of these rumors are true, as that would require lots of high tech problem solving to fix the ‘leaks’. Here goes …

There are rumors that computer chat programs and e-phone programs offer back doors for access to computers and handhelds, providing crooks with ways to hack private information and clone people’s computer desktops. It might possibly be good for chat programs such as Facebook Chat, Microsoft Messenger, and e-phone programs such as Skype and Google Voice.

There is a rumor that Frontpage and iTunes have hackable ‘back doors’ as well. Until this is disproven, it might be best to open these programs on your computer while offline.

There is an astral rumor that hacksters have access to books listing the IP addresses … or other identifiers, is it? … of the major motel chains and also of libraries, and that these somehow allow them access to our personal computers if we go online in a motel room or a library. Whether this is true or not, I don’t know.

I have also heard rumors of computer repair people who advertise that they will remove spyware from your personal computer, but that who instead install their own spyware, and gain access to your computer’s … is it IP address? … and password. And who then are able to hack your computer and perpetrate credit card fraud or other identity theft crimes. Or who may sell this information to other criminals, who then perpetrate these crimes. I hope this isn’t true!

Also, I have heard astral rumors that standard telephone services can be hacked via their online interfaces. From these interfaces, so the astral rumors go, a hackster can turn on or turn off the emessage-taking for another person’s telephone, and pick up or delete their messages. Apparently, there may also be ways to make phone calls as if they were coming from another person’s phone, but I do not know how this might be managed.

Further, there is apparently a back door to hardwired personal computers that is accessed via telephones installed on the same cable line, such as the newer phone-and-internet offerings tend to be. The hackster calls on your phone line, and … somehow or other … apparently patches into your computer. Whether you have to answer the ringing phone in order for the hack to occur, I do not know. I do surmise that the computer must be turned on at the time.

The way around this is to ask for a phone and internet deal where the phone is wired on a separate line from the internet. This arrangement is also good for times of electrical brownout or blackout, as it may be possible to plug a non-electronic phone (which you would have on hand for emergencies) into your phone jack during the emergency, and use your phone line, even though your computer is down. In that way you could report the power outage to your utility company, and would be able to call 911 in case an emergency arises during the electric brownout or blackout. So having a phone line separate from your internet service makes sense for a variety of reasons.

As to email, I have read that if your email password is hacked, then email can be sent by a hackster from your online email interface, and intercepted and deleted as well.

Then as to tracking devices such as GPS, and the pros and cons of wireless as opposed to cable and satellite …

According to the astral rumors, it is purportedly better to use cable rather than wireless connections for your laptop. Apparently, wireless connections can be snooped in upon by nearby people if they know about your IP address and computer password.

Rumor also has it that, through triangulation, computers with wireless enabled can be snooped upon through spy satellite programs. If this is found to be true, then it may be less true in rural areas than in cities. It may also be that a triangulated snoop connection in cities drops, then picks up again, as satellites crisscross overhead. So this manner of snooping … if true … may be only intermittently reliable.

Again on the astral plane, I have heard uneasy rumors that Bluetooth and Pandora, if enabled in the newer cars, might have backdoor programs installed that allow GPS tracking. I have seen GPS spy gizmos advertised online, that purportedly allow a person’s vehicle to be tracked; I do not know how prevalent the use of these might be, or how intermittent such surveillance might.

There is an astral hunch out there, to the effect that getting off asphalt roads, and onto dirt roads, or into wilderness areas, somehow disables GPS. Whether or not this is true, I have no idea.

I have heard an astral rumor that GPS can be installed in anything equipped with a solar cell … such as a lawn ornament.

A scarier rumor is that micro GPS chips can be placed in food, or body cavities on the sly, but that the power runs down on them in a few hours, and that internalized GPS and nano tech can be rendered nonfunctional by waving a magnet past them, just as larger electronic equipment can be rendered nonfunctional by being placed near a magnet.

Apparently, according to the astral rumors, the advantage of a powered GPS would be that the exact location of a person’s computer could be located, and homed in upon by a spy satellite, the theory being that would allow a secure hackster connection to a wireless enabled personal computer or handheld. If this is true, then it would be good to check up on the look of GPS tracking devices and check around the home and car for them, I am supposing.

Of course, an obvious answer to the issue of spy surveillance is to go off-grid and live the simple life. Further, this kind of lifestyle is bound to cut down on the damage done our bodies by artificial electromagnetic fields, such as electric lines, electric appliances, and electronics.

It seems to me that the financial world is going to have to come to terms with the seeming fact that placing financial information online is untenable, as it puts this information up for grabs by hackers everywhere. Even if a person refuses online access to, say, their bank, their bank information is still available, online, to those who have hacked and stolen that person’s identity.

The numbers of hackers in the world today are legion; and to the worse, according to the astral rumors, they feel a righteous thrill about it. To judge by the astral airs, they feel it is just a game … that they are …

  • ‘getting one over’ on their friends and neighbors,
  • ‘getting what’s theirs’,
  • getting a leg up,
  • playing the ‘one upmanship’ game,
  • helping their children get a college education,
  • ‘playing ball,’
  • engaging in Yankee competition …

The justifications or rationalizations, the specious reasons for ripping off friends and family are legion.

  • But what of the fabric of our society? What will become of us?
  • What will become of our economy, our financial system, our way of life, if hackstering runs wildly through our communities?

Well, shall we not get to the bottom of these rumors about the unsafeness of life in the ‘burb?

  • Are we safe, or are we not? If not, then what can be done about it?
  • Need we ramp up our computer savvy?
  • Ought we ditch our computers altogether, and, like the Roman emperor Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus, throw up our hands and say: Enough! I shall give up the power game, and retire to my country villa to grow cabbages! Let the rich and powerful come to me there, should they wish to consult me!

I wonder if anyone showed up, there in Gaius Aurelius’ country villa? Or whether, in peaceful solitude, he tended his vegetable garden, heard the early morning birdsong, gloried in sunlight and in the gentle touch of rain, and thanked the gods for a chance to live like an emperor of the natural world!

In love, light and joy
