Dear Ones,

Is this about losing face? That’s a subconscious metaphor, I guess … the type of thing that lucid dreams reveal.

Video: “NOCTURNE | Award-Winning Stop Motion Animated Short Film,” by Anne Breymann, 11 May 2026 … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7rOBlwj5B8 ..

I am guessing from this most excellent short film that the subconscious mind may figure losing face is life threatening. Which would explain why folks might go to otherwise inexplicable extremes to avoid losing face.

Excellent short film. Wow!

Io lux et pax nobiscum.
Joy, light and peace be with us!

THE POEM

“The Old Man’s Comforts and How He Gained Them”
A Poem by Robert Southey (1805, public domain)

“You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
The few locks which are left you are grey;
You are hale, Father William, a hearty old man,
Now tell me the reason I pray.

“In the days of my youth, Father William replied,
I remember’d that youth would fly fast,
And abused not my health and my vigour at first
That I never might need them at last.

“You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
And pleasures with youth pass away,
And yet you lament not the days that are gone,
Now tell me the reason I pray.

“In the days of my youth, Father William replied,
I remember’d that youth could not last;
I thought of the future whatever I did,
That I never might grieve for the past.

“You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
And life must be hastening away;
You are chearful, and love to converse upon death!
Now tell me the reason I pray.

“I am chearful, young man, Father William replied,
Let the cause thy attention engage;
In the days of my youth I remember’d my God!
And He hath not forgotten my age.”

MORE INFORMATION

This poem has been a favorite of parodists (that is, people who write parodies) for more than 200 years.

One of the most famous of these was Lewis Carroll, who wrote the parody “You Are Old, Father William.”

I myself feel it’s good to appreciate the original as well as the clever parodies.

After all, who could write a parody without referencing another man’s creative effort?

So, let us dreamers and poets and creative writers continue … undaunted … despite the slings and arrows of outrageous (and downright funny) parodists.

So say I. What is your stance on this? Your comments are welcome.

ADDENDUM

At the spoken words “In the days of my youth …” an airplane begins to pass over.

Amongst Hawks in the Santa Monica Mountains of California, airplanes are felt to be the vehicle (or chariot) of the Hawk God (as I feel sure you may already know).

Hawk cries out: Fear, Fear, Fear, Fear!

The sound of the Hawk God’s chariot grows louder.

At the spoken words “That I never might need them to last …” (and following),
a Mountain Lion speaks, in a low, gruff voice, to the Hawk God.

He speaks to the great power of the Hawk God, and the threat of War implied by the roar of the Hawk God’s Chariot.

Mountain Lion then proposes a Peace Pact as being beneficial both to the Hawk God and to his Mountain Lion Clan.

. . .

As you can see, Hawks and Mountain Lions have intriguingly different oral traditions
from those of humankind.

We species of Planet Earth may learn many things, each from the other, in the coming times.

Here is a good example of that. Peace is, I feel, an attractive notion for all Earth beings.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

“You Are Old, Father William”
A Poem by Lewis Carroll – read by Alice B. Clagett

Hello, everyone. It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I have for you today a poem that my uncle Frank Marbury Clagett used to recite all the time. And I thought I’d recite it just in his memory.

The poem is called “You Are Old, Father William.” Lewis Carroll wrote it. And it goes like this …

“You Are Old, Father William”
A Poem by Lewis Carroll (1865, public domain)

“You are old, Father William,” the young man said,
“And your hair has become very white;
And yet you incessantly stand on your head—
Do you think, at your age, it is right?”

“In my youth,” Father William replied to his son,
“I feared it might injure the brain;
But now that I’m perfectly sure I have none,
Why, I do it again and again.”

“You are old,” said the youth, “as I mentioned before,
And have grown most uncommonly fat;
Yet you turned a back-somersault in at the door—
Pray, what is the reason of that?”

“In my youth,” said the sage, as he shook his grey locks,
“I kept all my limbs very supple
By the use of this ointment—one shilling the box—
Allow me to sell you a couple.”

“You are old,” said the youth, “and your jaws are too weak
For anything tougher than suet;
Yet you finished the goose, with the bones and the beak—
Pray, how did you manage to do it?”

“In my youth,” said his father, “I took to the law,
And argued each case with my wife;
And the muscular strength, which it gave to my jaw,
Has lasted the rest of my life.”

“You are old,” said the youth, “one would hardly suppose
That your eye was as steady as ever;
Yet you balanced an eel on the end of your nose—
What made you so awfully clever?”

“I have answered three questions, and that is enough,”
Said his father; “don’t give yourself airs!
Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff?
Be off, or I’ll kick you downstairs!”

Dear Ones,

I have added a new category: Darkworkers – Darkfriends – opposite of Lightworkers https://wp.me/P2Rkym-FRM ..

This is under the subcategory “Psychic Terrorists” …

The subcategory “Psychic terrorists” is under the large category “Transcending the Dark – Courage Under Fire – Spiritual Warfare – Demon Wars” … https://wp.me/P2Rkym-n4G ..

DARKFRIENDS ~ DARKWORKERS ~ LIGHTWORKERS ~ SOUL MISSIONS

The word Darkfriends is used in the television series “The Wheel of Time” in a way that is quite similar to my use of the word Darkworkers as the opposite of Lightworkers.

Google AI is using the word Darkworkers incorrectly from the stance of readers of my website. Their use of the word aligns with the idea of Shadow work or cleansing the Shadow as these terms are used in psychology and psychiatry.

My use of the term Darkworkers has to do with a Soul mission to promote the Dark that characterizes the third and fourth dimensions of Old Earth … as compared with the Lightworker Soul mission to further the Light of the higher dimensions that characterize Ascending Earth.

God bless you all,
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days.

In love, light and joy
This is Alice B. Clagett.

Are Lightworkers Like Aes Sedai? . by Alice B. Clagett

Are Lightworkers Like Aes Sedai?

  • INTRODUCTION
  • ARE LIGHTWORKERS LIKE AES SEDAI?
  • DO LIGHTWORKERS INCLUDE BOTH MEN AND WOMEN?
  • CONCLUSION

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Are Lightworkers like the Aes Sedai in the television series “The Wheel of Time”?

I asked Google AI about this …

ARE LIGHTWORKERS LIKE AES SEDAI?

I asked Google AI: In the ‘The Wheel of Time’ television series, are Aes Sedai like Lightworkers?

Google AI said: “Yes, Aes Sedai in The Wheel of Time are very much like ‘Lightworkers’ in their function, as powerful female magic users channeling the ‘One Power’ for good (mostly), but they are a structured, political, and sometimes feared organization with specific rules, distinct from general ‘Lightworkers’, often divided by their ‘Ajah’(like the Green for battle or Blue for justice), and some are even secretly evil (Black Ajah). They wield elemental magic (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit) and are seen as protectors of the world, despite public suspicion.

Key Similarities to ‘Lightworkers’:

  • Channel the Power: They manipulate the fundamental energy of creation, the One Power, to perform magic.
  • Force for Good: Many Aes Sedai (especially Blue, Green, Yellow Ajahs) fight for justice and against the Dark One, acting as protectors.
  • Serve a Greater Purpose: They aim to guide the world and fight the forces of darkness, similar to ‘Lightworkers’ serving the Light.

Key Differences & Nuances:

  • Structured Organization: They live in the White Tower and follow strict rules (Three Oaths).
  • Ajahs: They belong to different factions (Ajahs) with specific goals, like the Brown (knowledge), White (philosophy), and Green (battle).
  • The Black Ajah: A significant portion (around 20%) secretly serves the Dark One, adding internal conflict and suspicion.
  • Public Perception: People fear and distrust them, viewing them as manipulative or dangerous, even when they help.

In essence, they are powerful magic wielders aligned with the forces of Light, but their strict society, internal corruption, and political influence make them more complex than a simple ‘Lightworker’ archetype.”

DO LIGHTWORKERS INCLUDE BOTH MEN AND WOMEN?

I asked Google AI: In Lightworker lore, do Lightworkers include both men and women?

Google AI said: “Yes, in Lightworker lore, Lightworkers include both men and women, as the designation is based on soul mission, energy frequency, and consciousness rather than gender.

Key details from Lightworker lore regarding this include:

  • Inclusivity: Anyone who feels a calling to help, heal, and bring ‘light’ (positive energy, love, and awareness) to the world can be considered a Lightworker.
  • Soul Purpose: Lightworkers are considered souls who volunteered to incarnate on Earth to aid in raising its vibration, regardless of whether they are in a male or female body.
  • Energy, Not Gender: The concept emphasizes that ‘Lightworker’ is a frequency, a calling, and a mindset—not a gendered role.
  • Diverse Representation: While discussions on twin flames sometimes highlight the Divine Feminine in the initial awakening, the overall lore acknowledges that these roles are filled by all genders.

Lightwork is described as an action or a way of living—such as being a compassionate, supportive, or guiding force—rather than a specific, gender-segregated role.”

CONCLUSION

Are Lightworkers like the Aes Sedai? Yes and no.

The Lightworker role is in quite like that of the Aes Sedai women. But Lightworkers, unlike the Aes Sedai, may be both men and women.

That the Aes Sedai are only women, and that men in the television series are subjugated by these women, may have misled people into thinking that Lightworkers want to subjugate men.

This may have caused a knee-jerk reaction where men with subjugational Soul wounding may seek to combat and subjugate Lightworkers. They may do so using either black magic or physical aggression, or both.

There are Lightworkers who are women, and Lightworkers who are men. We don’t fight each other; rather, we support and encourage each other.

In love, light and joy
This is Alice B. Clagett.
