Dear Ones,
This is an intriguing channeling about the difference between the ‘rough people in the mountains’ and the spirits of the water. I have no doubt but what the nature of earth elementals, as opposed to water elementals, has to do with the beings dwelling in each of these places. It was the deva of Elderberry Forebay, Castaic Lake, that whispered this in my ear.

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.
I went for a long walk today during the Gateway, which will be continuing until 20 January 2021. I am not finished yet, but I am on my way back. The view here is of a lot of mountains and a lot of water. It is rough terrain, but there is a great dirt road here (Goodell Fire Road by Elderberry Forebay, Castaic Lake, Los Angeles County, California).
The thing I was noticing on my way back is that I kept hearing a deep, threatening voice from the mountains. I would look up at the mountains, and I would hear this voice, and it would sound as if I were listening to the king of the dwarves … perhaps a Lord of the Greater Dwarves … or a big Troll … something very large and powerful, mighty and mean.
I was trudging back along the road … I have to make it back to the car before the Sun goes down … and making some headway. Then I thought: I will just ask for a good deva to talk to me for a minute.
So I said, into the astral airs: I would like to talk to a good deva instead of a bad deva for a minute … Oops! I am thinking there can be no such thing as a bad ‘deva’. I should have said ‘instead of a bad astral being’ …
And a being came up to me. It was a little taller than I was. It had a voice like that of a mid-range voice for a man … not very deep, not very high. It sounded a little like honey.
The being there said: Look at the water and not the mountains. The mountains have rough people in them.
So I looked at the water, and right away my heart calmed down and felt soothed and happy. It is incredible!
I guess there is a lesson there … it is a lesson I never knew before, in case you would like to use it.
