Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I have for you today subsection 4.19 of the video series “Satan’s Powers and What to Do About Them,” by Alice B. Clagett. Subsection 4.19 is entitled “Satan’s End … The Lake of Fire.”

Revelation 20 describes how Satan will meet his end in a Lake of Fire. I have for you today verses 7-10 of the King James Version, which is public domain …

7 “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 “And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 “And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

I wonder if Satan will fall into a solar flare? Could that possibly be? Or maybe he will just …all of a sudden! … turn back into an angel again. That would be great!

Often Hell, the abode of Satan, is depicted as fiery, and Souls cast down to Hell are shown to be suffering there, at the mercy of Satan and his devils.

In my own notion of Hell, it has a function of purifying Souls of karma between this and the next lifetime. Thus, it could be that Satan and his devils are tricked into doing good (which is to say, tricked into purifying Souls), because they take delight in ‘doing bad’ (that is to say, in making humankind suffer). If that were to be true, then it might prove that God has a sense of humor. Or maybe that the Elohim have what I appreciatively and respectfully term the quality of ‘neutral mind’.

COMMENT: It is possible the notion that Satan fell into a lake of fire might have come from people’s experience of volcanic eruptions and lava flows in Biblical times. Such, for instance, might been have the experience of Lot when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

I have another image for you. The image is entitled “A Fresco Detail of Hell from the Medieval Church St. Nicolas in Raduil Village, Bulgaria,” Edal Anton Lefterov, 17 May 2011, in Wikimedia Commons, and it is Creative Commons. It is very dramatic.

This is hell, with a river of fire. At bottom right is a great beast with big teeth, eating people who suffering in hell. And the dark-colored, humanoid beings who are meting out punishment are devils. They are members of what you might call the Demonic Realm.

I see the devils have horns and tails and strange-looking, animal-like faces, and claws on their feet and claws on their hands; and yet they stand upright and are bipedal, and in that way they are similar to human beings.

One other thing: At top left is a scale, and it looks like the Soul of a person is being weighed in the scale to determine whether he is going to hell, or where he is going after he passes on.

This is a very traditional picture of hell as being a place where people languish in fire and suffer and are tortured by devils. My own notion about this traditional depiction of hell is that it reflected socioeconomic conditions and everyday working life for peasants during the Medieval Era, and that it continues to do so in some of the developing nations on Earth today  …

So the question is: Is that going to be Satan’s end too … the Lake of Fire? Or is Satan going to be cleansed of his karma, and returned to the Angelic Realm at the End of Time? Since these are the days of Ascension, I guess we may find out.

This is the end of Section 4 of “Satan’s Powers and What to Do About Them,” which had to do with Satan’s qualities according to the Bible. Coming up will be section 5, which is entitled “How to Recognize a Person Who Practices Satanism.”
