Dear Ones,
A poem about God and creation …
GOD IN LOVE
A Myth by Alice B. Clagett
2015
In the beginning, God created
animals that divided and multiplied.
However, He noticed
that they didn’t love Him much.
Never gave a thought to their Creator, in fact.
Which is not surprising,
considering they were just
amoebae and parameciums,
and like that.
Hardly your philosopher sorts.
Now, as most folks have read,
God is Love,
and this lack of affinity
made Him blue.
So then He thought,
“I will create the sexes —
male and female.”
As everyone knows,
the Big Guy only needs to think it
to make it so.
And there they were —
ewes and rams, lions and lionesses,
not to mention boys and girls
and women and men —
all with someone to love
right there under their noses.
As some might surmise,
God already knew
exactly what would happen,
so He just sat back
in His easy chair
to watch the show.
Which is where He sits this very day …
blissed out on a symphony
of love in a minor key.
So here’s the $10,000 question —

is the coming attraction?
