INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here is a conversation with Songbirds, Scrub Jays, a Duck, Hummingbirds, a Woodpecker, Nandays, Coyote, Mountain Lions, and Ground Hogs at Paramount Ranch, Santa Monica Mountains, California, on 4 December 2025.

Immediately I got out of the car at Paramount Ranch, all the birds assured me there were no Mountain Lions at that location just then. It was uncanny … almost as if word of what had happened in Malibu Creek State Park a little earlier that morning had spread like wildfire, all the way to the Songbirds at Paramount Ranch! What transpired at Paramount Ranch is narrated in the video.

There is a Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO
The Sun was playing peek-a-boo during this walk. The Sun has its own way of talking, using Language of Light, so I have added most of the pictures of the Sun conferring upon me and my other species friends the Blessings of the Morning. Look at the Light in the images rather than at me, and see if you can tell what the Sun is saying.

MOUNTAIN LION NOT HERE!

Alice to Readers: Turn audio to medium high.

Can you hear the Songbirds referring to ‘Mountain Lion’ over and over again? Can you hear?

Songbird to Alice: M-nt-n Lin!

Alice to Songbird: Mountain Lion?

Songbird to Alice: Yeah.

Alice to Readers: Not a Mountain Lion. I asked all these Birds round here …

Songbird to Alice: M-nt-n Lin NOT HERE!

Alice to Readers: … They listened. One listened over here … a different one. It said: No! It nodded its head ‘No.’

[Pans to left.] And these ones over here … They are very certain: Mountain Lion, No!

Songbird to Alice [laughing]: Right! Right, it is No.

Alice to Readers: … and I asked them …

Songbird to Alice [laughing]: M-nt-n Lin NOT here.

Alice to Readers: … telepathically, and they answered vocally.

Songbird to Alice: When there are Mountain Lions you can hear them talking. That’s how you know they are there.

Alice to Songbird: Yeah, I don’t hear one either.

Songbird to Alice [laughing]: The M-nt-n Lin is NOT HERE.

Alice to Readers: I’m over here at Paramount Ranch. That’s my thinking too.

. . . . .

Scrub Jay to Alice: No MOUN-tain Lion!

Alice to Scrub Jay: Scrub Jay, What?

Scrub Jay to Alice [laughing]: MOUN-tain Lion!

Alice to Scrub Jay: Scrub Jay? Mountain Lion?

Alice to Readers: I am making doubly sure, having but a half hour ago been forced out of Malibu Creek State Park because of a Mountain Lion apparently stalking me there. Where I was at Malibu Creek State Park is just five miles from where I now am at Paramount Ranch.

Scrub Jay to Alice: Right!

Alice to Scrub Jay: Scrub Jay?

Scrub Jay to Alice [losing interest]: M-nt-n Lin is NOT HERE.

Alice to Readers: Scrub Jay just said …

Hummingbird repeats what Scrub Jay said to Alice: NO Moun-n LI-on!

Alice to Readers: No Mountain Lion. That was a Hummingbird.

. . . . .

NANDAY! BLUE HERON!

Alice to Readers: The Nanday parakeet just flew by and it said [shouting]: THERE ISN’T A MOUNTAIN LION! THERE ISN’T A MOUNTAIN LION! ,,, and I said: THANK You!

Alice to Nanday: Thank you very much!

Alice to Readers: They sure know when there is something there or not.

[Sound of a machine parked on the road. There is a human man there, with the machine.]

Alice to Nandays: Where is the Nanday?

. . . . .

Alice to Nandays [with a warble in her voice]: NANDAY! Where IS Nanday? Nanday! Nanday!

Alice to Nandays: Nanday! You hoo! SMART Nanday!

[Panning to a Blue Heron standing in the field near the creek] …

Songbird to Alice: BLUE HER-on! BLUE HER-on! BLUE HER-on!

Alice to Songbirds [speaking of Blue Heron]: It’s what? Its Mountain Lion?

Human Man [amused]: NO. It’s not!

Alice to all the beings: No Mountain Lion. I hear you!

. . . . .

BIRDS IN THE FIELD

Alice to Songbirds: What is all this about? Beautiful birds! Look at that! Beautiful birds! Wow!

. . . . .

ARE THERE REALLY SCARY MOUNTAIN LIONS AT MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK? AND NOT SO MANY AT PARAMOUNT RANCH?

You know … I don’t know what to think about the video today, because I was determined not to talk about Mountain Lions ever again. But for some reason the birds are just going nuts about the Mountain Lions in Malibu Creek State Park.

But here in Paramount Ranch, near the Ranger Station, all the Birds … and I mean there are a lot of Birds that are English-literate there … they all say there are no Mountain Lions there at Paramount Ranch.

I just … you know? … I can’t figure it out. There was never a problem before. Now I don’t feel safe to go to Malibu Creek State Park anymore. You know? I pay eleven dollars, and then I have to leave right away.

But if I go to Paramount Ranch, it doesn’t cost anything. And along the road that runs parallel to the state road there is no trouble.

That’s just my thought on it. It’s not all in my head, but I don’t know for sure whether the Ravens would pretend at Malibu Creek State Park. And I am not in a position to know for sure what is going on with the Mountain Lions.

I am sorry I can’t say much more. I can only say what the Birds say, and what the Birds tell me to do … you know?

I wish I had that Nanday parakeet on the line … the one that said ‘Mountain Lion not here.’ That was really good. Maybe later; you never know.

MOUNTAIN LION STARTS TALKING  – PRETENDS TO BE A RANGER

Songbird: Fe-e-e-ar!

Alice to Readers: Can you hear that … when the airplane goes over? I heard a Mountain Lion talking. It was way over there. [Pans to left.] Remember that mountain pass over there … at the junction of Medicine Woman Trail, Medicine Woman Connector, and Hacienda Trail?

The sound of the Mountain Lion’s voice is not here, where I am standing. It is over that way, in the far country.

Mountain Lion to Alice [in a low voice]: Please leave me alone. Don’t …

Alice to Readers: They are talking right now.

Alice to Songbirds: Are those Mountain Lions?

Songbird to Alice: No, they’re humans.

[Alice to Readers: Songbird likely is mistaken, as you will find out later on. Both Songbird and a Human Man had been mistaking this Mountain Lion’s voice for that of a Human Man, apparently.]

Mountain Lion [trickily]: Not a Mountain Lion. I’m the RAN-ger here.

Alice to Songbird: Who IS it?

Songbird to Alice: It’s a Mountain Lion but it says its a Ranger.

Alice to Readers: You know, it says it’s a Ranger. But I never know if the Mountain Lions are pretending to be Rangers out here!

Alice to Songbirds: I don’t know what to think. I think it is a Mountain Lion. You guys are trying to kid me.

Songbird to Alice [emphatically]: We are NOT trying to kid you!

Alice to Mountain Lion: Tell the truth! Who ARE you? [Waits for an answer …]

Mountain Lion: We G-dd-mned DON’T want you to know who we are.

Songbird: Jesus Christ! They’re HE-E-E-RE!

Alice to Readers: Did you hear that? ‘We Don’t want you to G-dd-mned …

Alice to Mountain Lions: You guys! Cut it out! If you’re Mountain Lions, tell me! Are you a Mountain Lion?

[Pans to west]: Over here.

Songbird to Alice: We think they are HE-E-E-RE!

Alice to Readers: I don’t see any Ranchers over there.

Alice to Mountain Lions: Are you Mountain Lions?

Songbird to Alice: Chrrr. We think they are HE-E-E-RE!

Alice to Readers: I only hear Silence now!

. . . . .

NANDAYS DEBATE WHETHER THERE ARE OR ARE NOT MOUNTAIN LIONS NEARBY? – HEAR MOUNTAIN LIONS ROAR!

Alice to Nanday parakeets: Nanday country!

Nanday in tree to Alice: Yep!

Alice to Nandays: Mountain Lions?

Nanday: Yep … That LA-DEE keeps on talking about the MOUN-tain Lions. There are no MOUN-tain Lions.

Another Nanday: YES THERE ARE! …

Alice to Nanday: There IS?

This other Nanday [continuing]: … If there is PEO-ple then you can’t HEAR them [Mountain Lions] near-by. If there IS people then you cannot HEAR them.

If you can’t listen to ME, listen to the Mountain Lion! [Well spake!]

Several Mountain Lions to Nandays [roaring]: DO NOT SAY that to that fool La-dee.

Alice to Nandays: Thank you!

Nanday to Alice: You’re WEL-come!

Alice to Readers: Ok. This tells you how good those Nandays are …

Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to Readers [continued]: … with English.

I said: Are there Mountain Lions around?

And they said: There Is, and there Isn’t.

Then they said: When there’s people around, there Are no Mountain Lions. And when there are no people around, there Are Mountain Lions.

. . . . .

Alice to Songbirds: Did I get that right? … Nandays?

Songbird to Alice [filling in for the Nandays]: Yep. Yep. Yep.

Alice to Readers: Another type of Songbird said: Yes, you did.

Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to Songbird: Thank you, Songbird. Thank you, Songbird.

Nanday to Alice: I’m a NAN-day!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday! … Thank you, Songbird.

Nanday to Alice [grousing big time]: NAN-day THANK YOU [meaning, why not thank the Nanday, while you’re about it?!]

NANDAY: WHEN WE ARE LAYING EGGS, DON’T SAY ANYTHING TO ANYONE ABOUT IT

Alice to Nanday: Nanday! Nanday? Why did you stay there [in the tree, instead of flying with the flock of Nandays]? Why did Nanday stay there? The flock went flying off!

[Nanday speaks privately to Alice]: Laying egg.

Alice to Nanday: Oh, ok. I’ll be quiet.

Nanday [half telepathically]: When we are laying eggs, don’t say anything to anyone about it.

Alice to Readers: That Nanday stayed. It was a Nanday talking.

Alice to Songbirds: Did everybody else here that? Everybody else knows how to talk to them too.

DUCK IS LAYING EGG: SONGBIRDS AND HUMANS SUGGEST BREATHING DEEPLY WILL HELP

Duck by creek says: Duck!

Alice to Birds: Who is that?

Duck to Alice: A Duck!

Nanday to Alice: That’s a G-dd-mned Duck! That’s who That is! Stupid Duck lays egg.

Alice to Nanday [misunderstanding]: Kraken [legendary Norse sea monster]?

Songbird to Alice: What’s the Matter with you? That’s a Duck!

Alice to Kraken: Here, Kraken!

Duck to Alice: QUACK-ing!

Alice to all the beings: [indistinguishable] … We heard them.

Duck to Alice: Stop it!

Alice to Readers: Ducks! Ducks! I saw them flying over. So.

Alice to Duck: What’s up? What’s up up up?

Human Lady to Duck [speaking vocally]: We can’t Do anything, but we Can Say you have to breathe deeply.

Alice: Ducks! Ducks! Ducks! [pans to flying ducks, on which the camcorder is unable to focus]

Duck: HELP me!

Alice: Ducks! Pleased to meet you!

Alice to Readers: A person and a Coyote are expressing upset and concern over the Duck’s plight. Can you hear them?

Alice: Ducks!

Hummingbird to Alice: Just stop it!

Scrub Jay: Wow! That Duck laid the egg!

Alice to Readers: I think the Duck is all right.

Duck: I didn’t Do that very well.

Coyote to Duck: It will get easier after awhile! [I wonder why Coyote would talk to the Duck and encourage her?]

Duck to Coyote: I don’t think it Will get easier.

Nanday to Duck: Yes, it WILL get easier.

Songbird to Nanday: Ex-Cuse me! It Won’t get easier.

Duck to Man: No, it won’t.

Man: Ok, It Won’t get that much easier.

Alice: Ducks! [Ducks were a favorite animal of mine when I was little.]

. . . . .

TODAY PROVES THAT NANDAYS ARE GREAT WITH LOGICAL ANALYSIS

This is about the complicated answer I got from the Nandays earlier.

Alice to Readers: A bafflingly brilliant response! I ask you: How many people these days could parse that answer in that manner? It’s a complicated, logical response. Ok. It’s …

‘If A, the not B.
If not A, then B.

You see? It’s a parsed, logical response, spoken in perfect English. These Nanday parakeets are absolutely baffling.

I hope there is a linguistic expert out there who can explain this better than I can. I am absolutely astonished. Absolutely! Those Nandays are incredible! Absolutely incredible! I’m [sighs] speechless!

IS ALICE SPEECHLESS, OR IS SHE NOT?

Nanday to Alice: Yep! You are Speechless!

Alice to Nanday: Speechless! Speechless!

[Nanday is thinking: NOT speechless.]

Alice to Nanday: Al-MOST speechless. Not Quite.

Mountain Lion [getting right annoyed]: Who says that you are speechless,
Lady? You are a far cry from being speechless!

A LIGHT AND LIVELY DISCUSSION WITH THE ACORN WOODPECKERS

Alice to Readers: Why is this particular place so linguistically talented?

Acorn Woodpecker to Alice: Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s a Special
kind of place! Special, special place!

Alice to Woodpecker: You got that? Why is that?

Woodpecker to Alice [subvocally]: We’re bright Birds. And there are lots of people around here.

Alice to Woodpecker: You very much are! … very, very bright! Birds are Very bright! My Goodness! I’m bowled over! Truly!

Woodpecker to Alice: WHAT does That Bowled Over mean?

Alice to Woodpecker: Bowled over! Yeah, that’s me! Bowled over! Amazing! Just amazed!

Alice to Readers: I thought that was the Woodpecker saying: ‘Bowled over’. It likes ‘Bowled over’.

Alice [looking at Woodpecker]: Yep, Woodpecker. Acorn Woodpecker.

. . . . .

SONGBIRD IS CAMERA-SHY

Songbird to Alice [chirping and flying]: NO picture!

Alice to Songbird: Ok. Ok. Bye.

. . . . .

WOODPECKERS SAY I OUGHT NOT MENTION ‘MOUNTAIN LION’ AS THEY MIGHT APPROACH OUT OF CURIOSITY. THAT WOULD BE DANGEROUS.

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: WOOD-pecker!

Woodpecker 2 to Alice: A-corn Woodpecker!

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Moun-tain Lion.

Woodpecker 2 to Alice: Yep.

Alice to Woodpeckers: You don’t [ought not] say that ‘Mountain Lion’? It draws them, I know. It’s dangerous.

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Yep. Yep.

Woodpecker 2 to Alice: Yep. Yep.

Alice to Woodpeckers: I’m very sorry. I’m sorry I did that. I won’t do that again.

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Exactly.

WOODPECKER ADMONISHES ME NOT TO PRETEND TO BE A MOUNTAIN LION

Alice to Woodpecker 1: Don’t pretend?

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Exactly.

Alice to herself: Ok. Don’t pretend.

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Exactly.

Alice to Readers: That’s the Acorn Woodpeckers, if I got it right.

Woodpecker 1 to Alice: Exactly.

Alice to Readers: They’re explaining.

Alice to Readers: What happened was, I just pretended to a Mountain Lion way over there [near the top of the eastern mountain range] that I was a Mountain Lion.

I said [in a gruff voice]: I’m a Mountain Lion, too. [And I sounded mean.] … Oh, yes, I am.

And then the Acorn Woodpeckers said that I ought never do that.

Alice to Readers [continuing]: … It might be a Lady Rancher. She said: Yeah, they might come and check it out and eat you.

Well, time to go back. I can tell, when that stuff comes up. I’m just going back.

ALL THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT ACORN WOODPECKERS! – IT LOOKS LIKE THE SUN AGREES WITH ME ABOUT THIS!

. . . . .

Bye bye. I’m thinking about you.

Bye! I’m thinking about you. You’re a good, special kind of Bird. Woodpecker! Different from other Birds.

WOODPECKERS AND RAVENS FEEL EMBARRASSED WHEN I COMPLIMENT THEM. SONGBIRDS AND MAMMALS ARE EASILY BEGUILED.

Alice to Readers: I notice that all the Birds are modest, and don’t like it when I praise them. Wouldn’t it be funny if human people were like that! [Laughs!] No! Mammals are quite different! Easily beguiled! Easily fooled by a passing word … and a special glance.

. . . . .

I SAY I CAN WALK ON WATER. BIG DISCUSSION WITH NANDAYS, SONGBIRDS, GROUND HOG, AND COYOTE ENSUES.

Alice to Songbird: What did you say? I can walk on water! … What did you say?

Nanday says something.

Alice repeats to Nanday what it said: Ten to one you cannot walk on water!? Did I hear that? Who said that?

Nanday: Nanday!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday?!

Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday?! Ten to one you cannot …

Nanday to Alice: Yep! Yep! Yep!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday Nanday Nanday?!

Alice to Nanday: Ten to one you cannot walk on water!?

Nanday to Alice [rowdy-like]: I THINK that’s what is SO!

Alice to Nanday [rowdy-like]: I CAN walk on water if the Mountain Lions are chasing me. You’ve never seen me do it because they’re not chasing me right now! … Yes? … Do you believe me? … Nanday believe me?

Alice to Readers: [Big silence.] Oh! Nanday’s thinking it over … The Songbirds decided I can get through water very fast.

Alice to Songbirds: How about walking on water?

Songbirds reply.

Alice to Readers [repeating what Songbirds said telepathically]: Ducks can walk on water … Dharm Darshan Kaur can-NOT walk on water. (This is telepathic response.)

Ground Hog to Alice: We don’t feel that you can walk on water.

Alice to Ground Hog: There ARE human people that can walk on water.

Ground Hog to Alice: I don’t feel that you got that right.

Alice to Ground Hog: But I never walked on water. But I COULD, I bet, like the Ducks, because I like Ducks … and I like Nandays … and Ravens … and Songbirds.

. . . . .

I like all the Birds. Every Bird. Good birds … Herons, Ducks … everything.

Coyote: I don’t believe you know anything a-BOUT these things!

I SAY MAMMALS THINK THEY COULD MAYBE FLY ONE DAY – SONGBIRDS FEEL SORRY FOR ME

Alice to all the beings: Yes? Well, we Mammals believe … I’m a Mammal, you know? … We believe we could do things that otherwise we could not do. We believe you could too, if you want to.

Special things, like … maybe I could fly, if I had to. But so far, I never flew.

. . . . .

But you can fly! …

Raven [from afar, sounding kerfluffled]: STOP that TALK-ing!

Alice to all the beings: You see? We think we could. But we just haven’t practiced. But we have no wings. That doesn’t make sense.

Nanday [quite definite about it]: No that Doesn’t. D-mmit. That doesn’t make any sense at all! Not any sense at all! Not Any sense!

Alice to Readers [paraphrasing what the Nanday said]: Can you hear? It certainly does not make any sense. It certainly does not make any sense at all.

Nanday: Right.

Alice to Nanday: Who is that? Woodpecker?

Nanday: Yep.

Nearby Woodpecker to Alice: Pecker Pecker Pecker Pecker.

Distant Woodpecker to Alice: That’s a that’s a that’s a Nanday.

Alice to Songbirds: What say? I’m mixed up. Very mixed up again.

Mountain Lion [gruffly on the Wind] to Alice: Yes, you ARE very mixed up!

Alice to all the beings: Well, you guys can talk English now, right?

Nanday [imitating the Woodpecker]: That’s that’s that’s that’s a Nanday. And Nanday says they Can speak English!

Alice to Nanday: Well, maybe one day I’ll fly! I cannot fly, Nanday!

Nanday to Alice: NOT YET!

Songbird does quite an elegant fly-by.

Alice to Songbird: Wow, what a BEAU-tiful flier you are! Wow1 So BEAU-tiful! Wo-o-w! So BEAU-tiful!

Acorn Woodpeckers to Alice: Thank you very much!

Alice to Acorn Woodpecker: BEAU-tiful! A BEAU-tiful flier!

GROUND HOG HAS PREPARED AN ELOQUENT SPEECH – HERE IT IS

Ground Hog: I want to Say something. What is your name? Alice? THANK you.

[It is just weird how the animals ask my name, and then they hear my name, but I cannot hear myself telling them my name. Sometimes they hear Dharm Darshan, but today Ground Hog hears Alice.]

Ground Hog: Thank you very much, Alice, for this conversation.

Alice to Readers: A Bird just went over. It flew so beautifully! It was soaring and coursing through the air. It was so beautiful! Wow!

Songbird: Thank you for that!

Alice to Songbird: Even if I COULD fly, I could NEVER fly like THAT.

Ground Hog: I am getting Quite Angry. You didn’t hear me At All. I won’t go out of my way to compliment you any more.

[Oops! Gosh! I didn’t hear Ground Hog till I reviewed the video. Giant faux pas]

Songbird to Ground Hog [trying to make up for my bad manners]: GROUND Hog, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Alice to Songbirds: Man, you guys fly just beautifully. I would look so silly.

Songbird to Alice: Oh, STOP that!

Alice to herself: Lucky if I could go a tiny way. That’s all.

Songbird to Alice: STOP that! STOP that! STOP that!

NANDAY SPOTS A MOUNTAIN LION OVER IN THE EASTERN MOUNTAIN RANGE

Alice [looking at field and at eastern mountain range}: Wow!

Nearby Nanday to Alice: Stop! Wait! Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop! STOP that! That’s it … Up that G-dd-mned mountain lion. Yep.

Alice to Nearby Nanday: Over there?

Nearby Nanday to Alice: YEP!

Alice to Nearby Nanday: YEP? Where IS it?

Nearby Nanday to Alice: Up that MOUN-tain!

Alice [turnin to the left]: There?

Nearby Nandays to Alice: No, not right There! Up that mountain.
Yep. Up that mountain.

Alice to Nearby Nandays: Thank you, Nandays. I’m just leaving. I’m going to go.

Farther Away Nandays to Nearby Nanday: Where where where is it?

Nearby Nanday to Alice: D-mmit! Up that MOUN-tain right there!

Alice to Nearby Nanday: Up there?!

Nearby Nanday to Alice: UP THERE D-MMIT!

Farther Away Nandays to Nearby Nanday: Where where where is it?

Alice to Nearby Nanday: Up that mountain? … Ok.

ALICE TELLS THE STORY OF THE MOUNTAIN LION WHO PRETENDS TO BE A RANCHER – NANDAYS, COYOTE, MOUNTAIN LION, AND SONGBIRDS ARE LISTENING!

Alice to Readers: There is a Mountain Lion up there. Sometimes it pretends to be a Rancher …

Nearby Nanday: Sh-t! Got it!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … and sometimes it pretends to be a Ranger …

Nearby Nanday [exclaiming in alarmed consternation]: YEP!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … and when it …

Nearby Nanday: Yep YEP!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … pretends to be a Rancher it uses cuss words …

Nearby Nanday: RIGHT!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … that the Ranger can’t use ..

Nearby Nanday [expressing disgust]: RIGHT!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … so it knows the different dialects, and it fooled the Rancher over there ..

Nearby Nanday [beside himself]: Right RIGHT!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … the Rancher’s helper, into thinking that it was a Ranger! … And I TRICKED the Mountain Lion! …

Nearby Nanday: YEP!

Alice to Readers (continuing): … and now the Rancher’s helper knows what’s up!

Nearby Nanday: Right. Yep.

Alice to Readers (continuing): He knows what’s going on. And everybody else does too.

Coyote to Alice: How did you Trick that Mountain Lion?

Alice to Coyote and to all beings: How did I trick it? Ok. You want to know? I could hear the Mountain Lion talking …

Nanday: Yep!

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … and I said: “Are you really …

Nanday: Yep!

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … a Ranger or Rancher? OR ARE YOU A MOUNTAIN LION?!

Songbird to Mountain Lion: Did she say this?

Mountain Lion [embarrassed] to Songbird: Ok, she DID say that.

Songbird to other Songbirds: She SAID that!

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … and I listened. And I didn’t say ANY-thing at all.

Nanday: Yep,

Nanday’s Interjections ‘Yep’ Are Like Japanese Custom of Interjecting ‘Eh’ in a Conversation

[Nanday is encouraging me to continue talking with these interjections, much as japanese people interject the mild exclamation ‘Eh’ as other people are telling a story. Could Japanese islanders have gotten this speech pattern from the Birds on the islands of Japan? … Or maybe vice versa? … Or maybe it is simply a similar speech pattern that arose independently of Bird speech.

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … If it were a human person, the Mountain Lion would have answered back …

Nanday: Yep!

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … but No! Um-um!

Songbird and Hummingbird: That’s it!

Alice to Coyote and to all beings (continuing): … That was a Mountain Lion. Right?

Right, Nanday! That was a Mountain Lion!

Raven must have been listening. Raven makes the striking sound: Cluck! … like a pebble dropping into still water from 6 to 10 feet above it. I’m taking this as a good sign. Maybe the Raven is saying: That’s a wrap!

ALICE AVERS THAT MAMMALS ARE TRICKY. COYOTE GETS ITS DANDER UP.

Alice to all the beings: Oh, boy. TRICKY Mammals. I Tell You. Deceptive. Sometimes deceptive. Not like the Birds at all. I like the Birds better.

Coyote to himself: I really and truly get that.

Nanday to everyone: D-mn Straight!

Alice [repeating what Nanday Said: D-mn Straight!

Coyote to himself: What does D-mn Straight mean?

Nanday to Coyote: Out! Get Out!

Alice to Coyote: I do. I like the Birds better.  Very deceptive Mountain Lion.

Coyote to Nanday: Why do you wnat me to go away? How DARE you say that to me?

Alice to Readers: Sometime the Mountain Lion becomes very enraged, too. I don’t like that. Birds don’t do that …

Coyote to Alice: Yes, they do that!

Alice to Readers: … unless someone is really mean to them. If they are mean to them, the Birds get upset too.

Coyote: Righty right right, they DO!

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here is the second video filmed at Paramount Ranch, Santa Monica Mountains, California, on 4 October 2025. It is quite a medley of disparates melded through my descrying and scrying talents as a Lightworker.

The video explains why I like Nanday parakeets. Then I talk about the effects of the recent long-drawn-out geostorm on Lightworkers and on others. I had my first ever talk with a mourning dove just before I filmed the video, and I discuss that here. Then a garrulous ‘wing’ of Nandays flies by.

Dear Ones,

This is the nineteenth and last video in the Paramount Ranch series. There is a view of the new Western Town being built on Paramount Ranch. There is also a talk with a Nanday parakeet …

VIDEO BY ALICE

CONCLUSION

The Nanday Parakeets are trying to protect themselves from being massacred by naturalists on the pretext they are not a species native to the Santa Monica Mountains.

I of the Hu agree with the Nandays that all the beings on New Earth deserve a chance to thrive and grow here, without discrimination as to place of birth.

Nandays and I share that common ground.

We hope you, Dear Readers, will share that ground too!

INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Starring in this video are one cranky Nanday hubby and one beguiling Nanday missus.

Do Nandays have the right not to be persecuted in America? I vote yes for Nandays! Be kind to all beings on Earth, say I!

There is an edited Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Just back there, on the road to the street, I heard a Nanday. So I opened the window and said: Nanday!

Then I saw, over on this side, four Vultures circling in the sky. Then, like the Ravens do, I said to the Nanday: Vulture! Vulture! Vulture! Vulture! [assuming that the Nandays, like the Ravens, count by repetition rather then by using number words]

And the Nanday said, in that very loud, very assertive voice that they have: Hey, guys! I just found out! Those birds are called the Vulture! [Alice laughs.]

Alice to Readers: So they do learn. They pick up those names for other animals from the humans. They are learning English, you know, because they probably already have their own language.

. . . . .

I am going back down the driveway and I am listening for the Nanday … I am not hearing anything. Then I hear a Nanday.

Alice to Nanday: Nanday!

First Nanday to Alice: GET OUT of my city!

Alice to Nanday: Here! Nanday!

Second Nanday to Alice: My husband meant ‘NAN-day city’!

First Nanday to Alice: Yes he DID mean to say that!

Alice to Nandays: Aw! Get out of my CI-ty? Did I hear THAT? Huh!

First Nanday to Alice: Yep! You did.

Alice: Awww!

First Nanday to Alice: It’s NAN-day city!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday! Nanday!

Second Nanday: Yes! That IS what it is.

First Nanday: Yes, NAN-day city! … NAN-day city! … It’s NAN-day NA-A-AN-day city!

First Nanday: YES, it is … YES, it is … AND YES, it is.

Alice to Nandays : Nanday! I love YOU!? Good GOOD Nanday.

First Nanday [brusquely]: THANK you. Thank you!

Alice to Readers: At least I got a ‘thank you’. Yeah! That’s what he’s saying.

Second Nanday: —, Why did you say that to her?

First Nanday [making up for lost time]: GET OUT OF MY GODDAMNED CITY! [Gosh, how rude!]

Alice: O-kay.

Second Nanday is laughing. First Nanday: My GODDAMNED CITY! THANK you!

Alice to Readers: Okay. Nanday says that he loves Nanday, and then talked to the other Nandays ….

Second Nanday is laughing.

First Nanday: Yep. GODDAMN it! (and etc.)

Alice to Readers: … and they said ‘Get out!’ … and so he is explaining that.

Alice to Nanday: Okay. I’m leaving. I love YOU!

First Nanday to Alice: GET OUT!

Alice to Nanday: GOOD Nanday. GOOD Nanday.

First Nanday to Alice: God-DAMN-it! DAMN-it! Get . out . [and etc etc.]

Alice to Readers: They are just trying to protect themselves because people are really mean to the Nandays out here. The Nandays are very, very intelligent. But people think that they are not native birds, and so they think they have the right to kill them.

It doesn’t seem right. It doesn’t seem right that we should be killing beings that are sentient … Don’t you feel it? I mean, they are so bright! And they are so sweet to their families! And they have such a long child-rearing process! They have so many points in common with human beings!

I don’t know how we could justify killing them just because they are not native beings. You know? I mean, how native are we? We Caucasians don’t belong here! We don’t go round killing Caucasians, do we … (Well, now that I think of it, I guess some people do.)

That kind of justification could lead to killing of all the Caucasians. It’s just not right. It is a global community now. For all the beings it is a global community.

I could see where, if something is destroying our agricultural crops, we might need to kill that pest. That I could see. I mean, there is no saying that we are better than others, but all the species try to protect themselves. You know? And it makes sense to try to protect our agricultural crops, even if that means we have to kill certain beings that are feasting on them. Or else we must drive them away somehow,

But what are the Nandays doing? They are just hanging out, having a wonderful time, and trying to protect themselves from the Hawks and Lord knows what all. I am pro Nanday. I am in favor of, within reason, letting them just be here with us. Don’t you feel that? Why must they be so frightened of us and so standoffish?

. . . . .

Alice to Readers: Gee, things are happening to me all day with regard to animal communication. I use up a pile of film and batteries trying to get all of them it. It ought to be a good idea, but, my glory! …

I am heading back towards the entrance, …

[There is a Nanday family grouping here … a Mother Nanday, a Father Nanday, and one or more Baby Nandays. Sometimes father and baby are speaking simultaneously, or father answers the mother instead of the baby answering, so transcribing the conversation is a challenge.]

Baby Nanday, cooing sweetly [seeing my car approach]: Wow, PEO-ple! PEO-ple!

Mother Nanday to Baby Nanday [laughing]: CUT that OUT!

Alice to Readers: … and I am hoping to hear something from the Nandays. Let’s see what happens …

Mother Nanday, cooing a sweet whistle to Father Nanday: Sweetheart, be REAL-ly CRU-el to her, or she will try to eat us up.

Father Nanday [laughing gruffly]: ALL right.

Mother Nanday to Father Nanday [whispering prompt for it to swear]: JE-sus Christ, it is …]

Baby Nanday, all atwitter [picking up on the prompt]: It is that LA-dy! GOD DAMN IT! Lady is BACK again!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday?

First Nanday: I can’t STAND her. I can’t STAND it!

Alice to Nanday: I love YOU-u! Love, love, love! Love NAN-day. Good GOOD Nanday.

First Nanday: That lady has no right to …

Alice to Nanday: See you later! Bye, bye, bye!

First Nanday to Alice: STOP it! Nanday … STOP it!

Alice to Nanday: Nanday!

First Nanday to Alice: THANK you! LADY!

First Nanday: GET OUT and never come BACK again again! LA-DY!

Alice to First Nanday: Alice Clagett does not love Daddy, yes?

First Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to First Nanday: That’s RI-ght?

First Nanday to Alice: Yep! Yep!

Alice to First Nanday: Oh … We’re not scared! Okay.

First Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to First Nanday: Oh … very courageous! Courageous flier!

First Nanday to Alice: Yep!

Alice to First Nanday: Free! Strong! GOOD Nanday.

Second Nanday (sotto voce): Jesus Christ, she is trying to sweeten us up!

First Nanday: Right! DAMN right!

Second Nanday: Do BET-ter! NAN-day strength!

First Nanday (trying to be as mean as can be): Damn Right!

Second Nanday: Do BET-ter!

Second Nanday (prompting}: Yeah! THANK you.

Alice to First Nanday: Brave . Brave . Yes, free!

First Nanday: DAMN RIGHT! DAMN YOU-U!

Alice to Nandays: Thank you . Thank you .

Second Nanday (cooing, quietly prompting): ‘Thank you very much.’ SWEET-ly …

First Nanday: ALL right!

Second Nanday: That wasn’t really a very good ‘Thank you’.

Alice to Readers: You know, I would like to channel some more …

First Nanday (subdued): Yes it was! …

Alice to Readers: … extraterrestrial beings. They are a lot of fun. They are so much fun, and so unexpectable! Maybe it will happen! Maybe it will happen soon. What do you think?

Nanday to Alice [really loud – perfect rendition, per prior prompts from its peers]: GOD . DAMN . IT!

Alice to Nanday: Huh? Goddamnit? What? What did I DO?

CONCLUSION

God bless you all,
And keep you safe,
