Dear Ones,

Lately I have been drawn to Lord Vishnu, whose great powers protect and preserve the world. There are some very powerful, hauntingly beautiful chants to Lord Vishnu that I love to hear, and find very comforting during these times of great change on New Earth. So, here are two of the chants I love best, along with a little background information.

Lord Vishnu is the all-pervading essence of all beings, the master of past, present and future, the creator and destroyer of all existences. It is Vishnu who supports, sustains and governs the universe. He is sometimes worshipped in the form of one of his many incarnations on earth, for instance, as Rama and Lord Krishna. (1)

THE MANTRA OF LIBERATION

Lord Vishnu’s mantra is “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” means “I bow to the Lord who lives in the hearts of all.” It is called the Mukti (Liberation) mantra and is a sound code for attaining freedom. Here is a wonderful rendition of the mantra …
