Dear Ones,

Yesterday, after prompting from Eileen’s posts (1), I watched Bill Ballard’s video (2), and then he recommended Sandra Walter’s video (3), so I watched that. And sort of a firestorm was triggered in me … to just get out there and bless the sacred natural spots around here with a ceremony, and intention to bring through 5D.

What do I know about this? Nothing! But darned if I didn’t leave the cat a bowl full of food, grab some warm clothes, just in case, and head off for Mesa Verde. Where I found a little spot amongst the needles under an old dwarf juniper tree, across from a little mound of stones that had once been an Ancestral Puebloan dwelling.

I was feeling pretty inadequate and, well, silly. I picked up some local pebbles … the same kind of sandstone the Ancestral Puebloans had used to build their homes … and found a tiny shard of painted pottery, and put them all in a little circle under the juniper tree, with a bigger pebble in the middle. And then picked a few little flowers to place round the central stone. And stood to bless the circle and the tree. Which felt great.

But it was not till I turned round to face the mound of stones, which had once been an Ancestral Puebloan home, that everything shifted. I felt a whirling, not round me, but between me and the ancient stones. The air shifted. It’s hard to explain … as if the stones were both there and not there. It was an unworldly feeling. I dunno, actually, what happened at all. But it felt right, and complete.

So, I just want to encourage everyone to give it a go. Go ahead and try this ‘blessing Earth, sky and waters’ thing. It feels pretty cool. Way so!

And don’t be afraid to dream big. Next time I go to Mesa Verde, I think I’ll take a flute along, to play a note or two, and place my 5D intention over the whole of mesa. See what happens …
