INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

This video is about Acorn Woodpeckers and the mysterious Kabir Birds. What ARE they? And why did the Acorn Woodpeckers fly into such a tizzy when an airplane passed overhead? These are the questions to be explored in the video.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Kabir Birds and Acorn Woodpeckers Are Consternated by an Airplane Passing Overhead
By Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones. It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir Bird! [This is just my nickname for the bird.”

“Kabir Bird” says several times “Kabir!”

An Acorn Woodpecker chimes in.

Alice to Readers: I think the hecker-hecker-hecker-hecker-hecker-hecker-hecker-hecker call is that of an Acorn Woodpecker. Then right after that is the call of the mysterious “Kabir Bird.”

That is an Acorn Woodpecker, I think, over there. [Then I imitate the Acorn Woodpecker call.] I think that’s the Acorn Woodpecker.

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: I love you! Where are you?

Alice to Readers: I am trying to get “Kabir Bird” to make an appearance. No luck on that today … What is that other Bird? What IS the Kabir Bird?

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir! Kabir!

A Bird utters a sharp call.

Alice to that Bird: WHAT? What was that sound?

Alice to Readers: I ask who made that sharp sound just now.

Acorn Woodpecker says: “That was a Woodpecker. Dharm Darshan, that was a Woodpecker.”

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: I love YOU!

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir! Kabir!

Kabir Bird to Alice: Kabir!

Alice to Readers: I can’t find it.

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Readers: I’ll never figure it out. I just don’t know.

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir!

[An airplane begins to fly overhead.]

Mr. Acorn Woodpecker says about the airplane noise [please excuse the language!]: “Goodbye from Mr. Woodpecker! … My God! What IS that? Great God. What IS that?”

Mrs. Acorn Woodpecker: “What IS it?”

Mr. Acorn Woodpecker [all upset]: “I love you, my wife; I love you!”

Mrs. Acorn Woodpecker: “I love you too!”

Another Acorn Woodpecker: “My God. What IS it?”

A Bird calls sharply: EeeW!

[It seems the sharp bird call is an alarm call because of the airplane noise.]

Alice to EeeW Bird: What was that?

EeeW bird calls sharply: Eeek!

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir! Kabir!

EeeW bird: EeeW! Eeek! EEEK!

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Alice to Kabir Bird: Kabir!

Kabir Bird: Kabir!

[Alice sighs.]

Alice to Readers: I guess the Birds have much more acute hearing than humans, and that airplanes sound really loud to them. Maybe we could help by explaining to them that airplanes have people in them and are not a threat to the Birds.

. . . . .

In love, light and joy
