Subconscious metaphors: To dress down

Dear Ones,

Here are some thoughts on the metaphor ‘to dress down’ in the context of rites of initiation and rites of manhood, as opposed to the context of hunting and preparing game, and how this might influence rare, rogue acts of murder and cannibalism. There is an edited Summary after the video …

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I have one of those subconscious metaphors, or unconscious metaphors, that I have been talking about … to talk to you about, right now.

It is called ‘dressing down’ … and it is used in military boot camp, and, I suppose, in other contexts in the military, for officers to discipline their subordinates by ‘dressing them down’. And I think that probably involves … I have seen it in the movies … It is something like yelling at them, calling them names, and demanding that they do exactly what they are supposed to do … what they are told to do.

I think that is called ‘dressing them down’. In the subconscious mind, it may be confused with ‘dressing down’ meat … like when you catch a deer, you kill a deer, and you want to prepare it for your family to eat. So ‘dressing down meat’ … I have seen camps in Colorado, where the hunters go … hunters’ gathering places. And then they go out on expeditions, to hunt game during the hunting season. There are several types of hunting seasons in the fall.

So they have hunting camps, and when they catch the game, they bring them back and ‘dress them down’ there. Then the people can get the fresh meat, after it has already been ‘dressed down’ … ‘Dressed down’ means taking the offal  (the intestines and so forth) out. You prepare the game … You would probably skin it, and prepare the meat for freezing or later cooking.

Basically, we have this one metaphor which means two different things …

One, it means to yell at people, and make sure that they toe the line and obey orders instantly; which is very important in the field of battle, in wartime.

The other has to do with killing game and preparing meat and then eating meat afterwards … that visual image that the unconscious mind takes in … or the subconscious mind … one of them.

The difficulty is that sometimes … in what I would call rogue circumstances … not as a general rule, but in rogue circumstances in the military … it is possible that, in these rites of manhood or of induction into groups … these ‘rites of initiation’ that take place in the boot camp, and in other organizations, such as initiations into street gangs and hazing by college fraternities … during initiation into the group, it can take the form of cannibalism.

So what we want to do is to bring this metaphor out to the conscious Light of the Higher Mind … so that people are not misled into performing acts such as cannibalism, which are not approved by society, and carry great tolls, as far as social opprobrium is concerned. They also affect the Soul in terms of Soul wounding, and cause greater samskaras in the first chakra, which is a very important chakra for staying alive.

So I suggest, in using that term ‘dressing down’, to be very careful not to visualize killing and quartering game. The result will be that there will most likely be very few, or no, rogue instances of murder and cannibalism in the military, in street gangs, in college fraternities, and so on.

Cults that kill (1) are a totally separate thing. Those are rogue cults led by antisocial personalities such as Charles Manson, (2) and Daniel Perez (aka Lou Castro), (3) and so forth. For those, I do not really have a fix right now, since so much malware and malspeak are involved.

The Soul of the leader of a cult that Kills is so malwared up, that it will take time to straighten out that issue with regard to purifying the DNA, and so forth.

I will talk to you all later.

In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars
