This video documents a strange look to the Sun during a Severe Geostorm on 11 May 2024, in late afternoon.

I guess you all know the Sun is looking right weird. It seems to be lighting up the whole sky really brightly this evening. I was out walking today, and I could see so clearly every detail of the mountain on the other side of the valley. It was just very unusual.
Yesterday there was an X-5 solar flare. I don’t know if it was Earth-directed; I suspect it was, though. That occurred yesterday evening.
As you know, there is quite a bit of Light heading towards Earth right now. We’re in the midst of it. At least the Kp index has ratched down just a little bit from yesterday, which was an outstanding day.
Let’s take a look at the Sun right now, getting on towards evening. [Shows Sun.]
Well, there is Mr. Sun. I wish I could explain how bright it is … how white the Light is. The Sun is so bright that I am really not getting any detail in the image. Sorry about that; maybe later … heading on towards Sunset.
