INTRODUCTION

Dear Ones,

Here are conversations amongst a Raven family … a Father Raven, a Mother Raven, a Fledgling Boy Raven, and a Fledgling Girl Raven. It has only been a few days since the children have left the nest … which is to say, they were quite some while ago ‘eggs’, then until quite recently they were ‘nestlings’, and now they are ‘fledglings’.

The children are getting a cram course on how to survive after they leave their parents. A helpful Songbird chips in.

I read online Raven education of ‘fledglings’, which are the ages of the young Ravens in this video, may continue for 2 to four months. During that time I expect the young Ravens may learn quite a lot.

After the video plays at regular speed, there is a Slo Mo version of the initial video clip which reveals a Secret about the abrupt and to me somewhat alarming shift in Raven behavior and activity that has recently taken place. See what you think of this Secret!

Oh God COVID-stricken thing.

Can you hear it?

Raven is saying, and Hummingbird
is repeating: Oh God,
she [Alice] is here right now.

Can you hear it?

Raven says: Stop PEEPING at us!
Hummingbird says: He [the Raven] says she
[Alice] is PEEP-ing at us.
Then Raven says softly: Oh, I HATE that.

Fledgling Raven [over and over again]:
I HATE you G-d d-mned people.

Can you hear it? It’s very subtle.
Mom and Dad have taught it caution
regarding humans.

Something has happened to turn
these Ravens against the humans here.

I found the same to be so at
Paramount Ranch two days ago.

I wonder if the Ravens
have been bespelled?

Have they joined up with
the Hawks or the Mountain Lions
against the humans?

Could it be they practice Black Magic
of their own accord when ired up?

Something is up! Humans here ought
to be very careful in their dealings
with Ravens until the situation
simmers down.

Songbird says: Oh, God!

Whose side
is the Songbird on, anyway?!

Father Raven yells an alarm: STOP!

Mother Raven seconds the motion.

Fledgling Boy Raven [urgently]:
Run! Run! … Oh my G-d! RUN! RUN!
Mother Raven [querulously]:
Oh, STOP that NOISE, will you?
Father Raven [low, gruff voice]: D-mn right!
Fledgling Girl Raven [high voice]: Oh, NO!

are trying to teach their two children
to be independent?

Could it be Mother Raven?
Fledgling Girl Raven: All right, Daddy.
Then Father Raven [staccato beat]
says: STOP IT!

All right. I WILL stop it.

I hear the Fledgling Girl Raven
still saying, over and over again,
very sweetly: I DO love you, Daddy!
Father Raven [assuaged] says:

Father Raven moans: Oh, God!
Fledgling Girl Raven [upset]:
WHY won’t she fly as we all fly away?
We all fly away! G-d d-mn you all.
Father Raven coaxes Fledgling Girl
Raven: COME!

Fledgling Girl Raven [high,
anxious voice] says over and over again:
They will fly away!
Father Raven moans: Oh, G-d!

Can you hear Mother Raven and
the Fledgling Girl Raven talking now?
The LIttle Girl Raven is not strong
enough to fly like her brother. She
hopes her Daddy will help her.
Mom is encouraging her daughter.

I often wondered why a group of
Ravens is sometimes called
an unkindness of Ravens,
a conspiracy of Ravens,
or a treachery of Ravens.

. . . . .

Maybe parental concern for their
fledglings as they leave the nest
is the answer!
