Alice’s Perilous Tales: Badlands and Chaco Canyon . photos by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

Alice’s Perilous Tales: The Chaco Canyon Marksman

Here are images from the Badlands, Angel Peak Scenic Area, and from Chaco Canyon National Historical Park in northwestern New Mexico, between Albuquerque and Farmington.

I recall while while walking along Wijiji Trail in Chaco Canyon I had an astral vision of a rancher or ranch hand standing on the high ridge to the left as I was heading out along the trail. I had a a vision he had a rifle with a scope; that he was a pretty good shot with the rifle, and that he was aiming it at me.

I took a good look along the ridge and saw no one there, and no movement as well. From that I got it might have been a plan someone was making for the future, or something that happened in the early days of the Wild West, when quite a bit might have been going on.

Work Camping and Annual Camping Opportunities in America . by Alice B. Clagett

  • WORK CAMPING
  • NATIONAL PARKS AND FEDERAL RECREATION LANDS CAMPING
  • COLORADO, NEW MEXICO, AND NEVADA STATE PARKS CAMPING
  • FREE CAMPGROUNDS ACROSS AMERICA

Dear Ones,

WORK CAMPING

I just read an article in “AARP the Magazine,” Dec/Jan 2015, called “Mixing Work and Pleasure on the Long, Winding Road.” This is about ‘work camping’, which I thought might be of interest to some of us as we go through the Ascension process. Reason being, a competitive career lifestyle is not always compatible for all of us as the process unfolds. Work camping offers a chance to ratchet down on housing cost … by living in a trailer … and at the same time work for minimum wage at a low key job, and garner enough money to pay for food and gas. With some employers, part time work is available.

I could not find the AARP article online; It looks like you have to become a member to get it. However, in the article they mention Amazon.com has a CamperForce program, providing free campsites and about $10 an hour, plus overtime, for seasonal work in its warehouses all across the US …

Link: “Amazon Camperforce” … http://www.amazondelivers.jobs/about/camperforce/ ..

Some campers do seasonal work for KOA; you have to be willing to clean bathrooms and empty trash.

Link: “Live the Life You Love: Become a KOA Work Kamper” … https://workatkoa.com/ ..

When I was camping at Mesa Verde last summer, I found out that Aramark offers seasonal jobs at National Parks and elsewhere. This sometimes includes a campsite, minimum wage, and part time or full time work in a laundry or gift shop or snack shop, etc …

Link: “Hourly Job Opportunities,” by Aramark … https://hourly-aramark.icims.com/jobs/intro ..

NATIONAL PARKS AND FEDERAL RECREATION LANDS CAMPING

For those that do not need to work, passes are available to National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands …

Link: “America the Beautiful Passes,” by National Park Service … https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm ..

However, and this is pretty important, passes do not include camping costs, which can be hefty at National Parks.

Typical camping costs for National Forests, which tend to offer less developed campsites, vary from free to $12 a night …

Link: “Seasons, Rates (Fees) and Forest Information” in “U.S. National Forest Campground Guide” … https://www.forestcamping.com/dow/intro/introduc.htm#fees ..

COLORADO, NEW MEXICO, AND NEVADA STATE PARKS CAMPING

State Parks sometimes offer great opportunities for campers. I noticed on both the Colorado and the New Mexico banks of beautiful Navajo Lake State Park, sites with amenities and an incredible view are offered.

On the New Mexico side, annual camping permits are $180 a year for New Mexico residents, $100 a year for New Mexico resident seniors and disabled, $225 a year for out of state residents. More information here …

LInk: “Navajo Lake State Parks” by New Mexico State Parks …  http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/SPD/navajolakestatepark.html ..

On the Colorado side of the lake, camping is apparently just $70 a year for one vehicle. For more on the amenities there, see …

Link: “Navajo State Park,” by Colorado State Parks and Wildlife … https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/Navajo ..

Looks like that fee will get you the right to camp in other Colorado State Parks as well …

Link: “Annual Pass Information,” by Colorado Parks and Wildlife … https://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/AnnualPassInfo.aspx ..

I gather from this chart that Nevada State Parks offer seasonal low entrance fees with free camping. Annual permits for camping in all Nevada State Parks are $200 a year ..

LInk: “Annual Permits,” by Nevada State Parks … http://parks.nv.gov/fees/annual-permits ..

And maybe other state parks have good camping opportunities too.

Scenes from the Great Plains . by Alice B. Clagett

Filmed on 15 January 2016; published on 27 January 2016

  • VIDEO BY ALICE
  • SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Dear Ones,

Here are scenes from the Great Plains. The background music is “The Temperature of the Air on the Bow of the Kaleetan” from the album “Undercover Vampire Policeman” by Chris Zabriskie, CC BY 4.0.

As the sound of the wind is distracting, I decided not to call this a musical collaboration. That is because the music is not featured as prominently as it is in most of my musical collaborations.

There is a Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones. Here is the view in New Mexico …

Image: “Great Plains 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

It is a view of the sky; the most interesting part of the landscape … because it is wintertime … is the sky. Just the most beautiful clouds …

Image: “Great Plains 5,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

Because of the broken ground here, I can tell that there has been a snow here not too long ago, that has melted, and left the earth like this …

Image: “Great Plains 6,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Great Plains 6,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

I do not know if you can tell the texture of the earth after a snow melts. When I step on it … see here? See the strange texture?

Image: “Great Plains 7,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Great Plains 7,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0\

When I step on it, the ground sinks in. So the snow, when it forms the ice crystals around the Earth, and it sinks into the earth where the water melts, and then the water freezes at night, it creates this very interesting texture that, when all the snow is melted, as in the current thaw, it is as if it is aerating the soil, you know?

Image: “Great Plains 9,” by Alice B. Clagett, 15 January 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0

It is aerating it so that it fluffs up, and leaves the soil good for seeds to grow, and like that. It is pretty cool phenomenon. I am sure there is a name for it; I am just not sure what. [Shows Sun]

This place here, Carlsbad, New Mexico, and these ducks here, and this river here, are pretty close to a couple of other towns. See the strange thing on this duck’s head?

It reminds me of a purple grackle I saw today, a little bit farther to the East. it had a big lump, with feathers on it, on its chest, which made it a little hard for it to fly. And this town here, and this river, and this whole area, are pretty close to Alamogordo, New Mexico, about 100 miles as the crow flies.

It was in Alamogordo that an atomic bomb was developed that was detonated in 1945 at the Trinity Nuclear Test Site in Jornado del Muerte (‘Work Day of the Dead Person’), south of Socorro, New Mexico.

Socorro is not too far from Alamogordo … about 100 miles as the crow flies … and Alamogordo is not too far from Roswell, New Mexico … about 90 miles as the crow flies. Roswell is where that incident about the ‘weather balloon’ that was really the nuclear sampling device balloon took place.

I was just wondering if there is some congruity between that test that took place in 1945, and the odd markings on this duck, and also on the purple grackle that I saw a little bit to the east of here. That is just a thought for now, and for the future.

Carlsbad, New Mexico, is certainly a well populated place, with plenty of water, A lot of people are having fun here.

I am just wondering about all that. I hope all is well with this area. I wish this part of Earth, this part of Gaia, peace and health and joy. And I see here the Sun is doing its best to shine down, with grace and Light and love, upon all that is, including this place.

Signs in the Clouds: Angels Flying, Bloomfield, New Mexico

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars. And here I am at a place I have never been before … Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, San Juan County, New Mexico. and I just want to show you the clouds, which are looking very interesting today, once I get round this way [walking through cemetery gate]. I got a partial image here …

This is the waning moon, here, as seen in the noonday sky … The full moon was not too long ago.

And then begins a series of clouds. This is just the beginning of it; it looks kind of like angels flying across the sky …

Then the tree interrupts. This is the other side of the tree …

… and I am following this trail of flying clouds. Can you see it? It is kind of low to the horizon … and it arcs along, and then it goes off, from east (on the right) to west (on the left).

I think that is a pretty good sign again today. It is like a flight of angels, an arc of angels from east to west; and then, the beautiful noonday Sun overhead. The Light is very clear and very white.

I am on my way to Chaco Canyon to bless the Earth. I think this is going to be a good day, as are most days, these days; incredible days. Until I get to Chaco Canyon, God bless you all! …

This is after a while; after the winds have changed the configuration of the clouds …

Metamorphosis . by Alice B. Clagett

Filmed on 10 October 2015; published on 13 October 2015

Dear Ones,

This video is about the metamorphosis … the beautiful transformation that humankind is experiencing right now. There is a Summary after the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

It is 10 October 2015 today. I am sitting up here in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. All I can see are pine trees everywhere, and the beautiful needles of the pine trees on the ground. And they make soft, silent footing.

Image: “Pine Forest, New Mexico,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Pine Forest, New Mexico,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

A light breeze is blowing. It is a beautiful, balmy fall day. Here we are in the midst of incredible clearing for humankind. Incredibly beautiful clearing is going on. And we humans are doing what we may to facilitate the process. I have to say I am very impressed with humankind.

It is a time of mental chaos and mental turmoil and confusion. Imagine being a millet seed! I saw some millet on the way over here. There was a place where they were growing millet. And I did not even know what it was, till I got out of the car and took a picture of it … off in, was it Oklahoma or Kansas? … millet growing …

Image: “Millet in the Midwestern United States 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Millet in the Midwestern United States 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Millet in the Midwestern United States 2,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Millet in the Midwestern United States 2,” by Alice B. Clagett, 10 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

The thing about millet is: You plant one seed, and when millet is a mature plant, there are all these seeds on one millet plant! And so millet is an example of fertility and fecundity, and feeding all of Earth; the prosperity of all the hearts on Earth … the happy growing, and the happy evolution of humankind.

Anyway, I was going through fields and fields of millet seeds. And it feels to me like now like a millet seed would feel, if a farmer planted it in the field. And then the rains came, or else the irrigation system … whatever it takes.

The water came, and softened the shell of the millet seed. And then grace told the millet seed that it was time to sprout and grow, yes? Imagine the turmoil there … the changes taking place inside of that seed, biochemically. Immense changes, as the seed starts to sprout, and bursts out of the hard shell, that has been softened by the rain … yes? … and begins, for the first time, to burst through the shell of soil above it, and begins to feel the sunlight, and begins to photosynthesize.

Wow! That is just like humankind right now. We are going through immense changes internally. Everything looks the same; but we are going through metamorphosis. And it is like a butterfly … It is like when a caterpillar becomes encased in the pupal shell. And then all these changes take place inside, and everything gets mixed up. The whole structure of the caterpillar’s body gets changed.

Image: “Monarch Life Cycle – 12 of 20”: Monarch butterfly pupa, by Steve Mosdell, Flikr … https://www.flickr.com/photos/sidm/4813664836 … CC BY 2.0

Image: “Monarch Life Cycle – 12 of 20”: Monarch butterfly pupa, by Steve Mosdell, Flikr … https://www.flickr.com/photos/sidm/4813664836 … CC BY 2.0

They call that … I do not much like the term, but they call that ‘pupal soup’. It is just like us right now, because humankind is about to burst forth into the sunlight, and is about to change from something that crawls on Earth, to something with beautiful wings, that can fly.

These are the times! And we do what we do: We say Yes! I am willing to sprout. I am willing to burst through the soil. I am willing to feel the Sun upon my green leaves. I am willing to grow into a great millet plant with many seeds, that can help the whole world with wisdom and Light and grace.

And we are saying: Yes! I am that caterpillar. I am willing to experience the pupal soup, so that I may become something that is far grander, and far more beautiful. So that I can remember the greatness that I am.

And we humans, we are assenting. But what is actually making the change, I feel, is the Divine grace … the grace of God that lights our path and carries us forward, through the chaos, through the turmoil, through the sprouting of the seed, through the confusion of the pupal changes, and into the greatness of our Souls.

God bless you all with love and Light and peace. God’s grace upon you!

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, This is Alice. I Am of the Stars.

And I am just checking out the clouds here. These are the clouds over the Gurdwara (meaning the house, or door, of the Guru) in Espanola where I am going, hopefully, in another half hour or so.

It almost looks like a cloud sunrise, or a great angel rising up in the sky …

Image: “Lord Metatron Cloud 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 9 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Image: “Lord Metatron Cloud 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 9 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

Right here I could almost see Lord Metatron …

Image: “Lord Metatron Cloud 2,” by Alice B. Clagett, 9 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

That is interesting, because I was just asking the Divine to create a gateway, with the help of Lord Metatron, to channel energy into these beautiful New Mexico soils, and for the world, and for all the cities of Earth.

Look, it looks like angelic wings coming up here …

It looks like a giant Lord Metatron figure …

Composite Image: “Lord Metatron Cloud 5,” composite by Alice B. Clagett, 9 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

And is that not interesting … when we say a prayer, and we ask for help, and there in the sky is a reflection of our very request! It gives me hope for all humankind.

I feel that these gateways will be established all over Earth, and channel in the energy everywhere, and transform all the old, dense energies … the misqualified energies … to the highest Light.

That is my current cloud reading: The Lord Metatron.

I Am of the Stars

A crystal ceremony near the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico to bless and heal all the cities of Earth. There is an edited Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I thought I would perform a little crystal ceremony here, on these ancient lands in New Mexico, close to these sacred mountains here, on a beautiful day, with some clouds to keep the weather cool … … but not too many clouds; so that it is very beautiful, walking …

Image: “Crystal Ceremony near Jemez Mountains, New Mexico 1,” by Alice B. Clagett, 8 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

And I found this juniper tree, that is sacred to the Native Americans, and to me …

And near it there are bundles of wood that have naturally fallen there [pans right] …

Image: “Crystal Ceremony near Jemez Mountains, New Mexico 3,” by Alice B. Clagett, 8 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

… and over here as well [pans left] … I am going to move that can, and put it someplace else …

Image: “Crystal Ceremony near Jemez Mountains, New Mexico 4,” by Alice B. Clagett, 8 October 2015, CC BY-SA 4.0

And they [the bundles of wood] are like offerings of fire for the fiery spirit of the crystals [that is, symbolic offerings of fire … not that I would ever set fire to them … My thought was that one day, a long time from now, Nature herself may make this offering … as is the natural way.]

And here I have cactus. The cactus is my defense for this beautiful, sacred ceremony, in this beautiful, sacred place. And so I have natural offerings in the bundles of wood;I have protection because of the cactus;and I have the energy of healing from the juniper tree, under these sacred skies. And so, that is my location. Now let me move that can, and take it out of here …

So here I have, right next to my sacred spot, another kind of cactus for protection; and juniper all around, baby junipers, here and there, for new sacred healing energy …

And this is the spot that I have chosen, right here. Let’s see … I brought four crystals, for the different directions … You can see where the shadow goes, see here? …

Where the shadow goes is north. So, to the north, I am placing one crystal …

And to the south, where the Sun is, I am placing another crystal. Actually, it should go right about here [moves crystal a little] because the noonday sun has gone on …

And then, to the east, over here …

So there is my crystal offering: On the north, and on the south, and on the east, and on the west … … I ask the Divine to uplift the energy of all the cities of Earth in such a way that it may express itself just as these beautiful crystals do …

… With clarity, with the beauty of the sunlight within them, and with the healing energy of the natural world all around them.

By God’s grace may this be so, that all the cities of Earth may be healed; that the Devic world may once more find its home in, above, and around the cities, so that they may find themselves once more in balance with nature.

God bless the cities of Earth, and God bless the rest of Earth … the wilderness, the mountains, the deserts, and the oceans …

… that through their pristine clarity, and through their incoming grace, they may honor the most difficult places on Earth with their wonderful energies. Amen.

Dear Ones,

A cloud reading in beautiful New Mexico: Sweet dreams, seeding New Earth with fertility, and the highest aspirations of humanity. There is a Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, This is Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I am here in New Mexico, doing a cloud reading. I am standing on a dirt road that leads to some of my most interesting places. One is a place where, at Solstice every summer, the people meet and have a Peace Prayer Day. People from all over the world come here, and join the Angels on the land, and create peace everywhere.

And also today, I am going to Native American lands up the way here … or at least pass through them … And that is also one of my most favorite journeys: To go through Native American lands. We will see what happens.

And now, the cloud reading. Here it is …

And what I see here in the clouds coming very quickly over the mountains. They change moment by moment. And what you have there at the top, it seems to me, is a dreamscape. The top of the dreamscape is these beautiful, fluffy, white dreams.

And beneath them are some little, rain-bearing clouds, that are fluffy but full of rain. And I think these represent seeding New Earth with fertility.

And so we have sweet dreams … beautiful, good dreams … at the top; and seeding New Earth with fertility at the bottom there. And then we have, over the mountains, the highest reaches of Earth, the highest aspirations of humanity are coming to life now. So, a very good vision here, in beautiful New Mexico.

Here is the place where the Peace Prayer Day … https://www.3ho.org … held every year in June, right around the time of Summer Solstice. [shows, off in the distance, buildings between a rise in the ground and a far mountain range]

It is not that time right now; it is close to the Fall Equinox time. If you look very closely … even though it is not quite time to go walking around those grounds … you will see this structure here. [Zooms to a closeup of one of the buildings] … This is the place where they have the 3-day yoga intensive that pulls in the most beautiful Light on Earth, right around the time when the Peace Prayer Day people meet in this structure. Pretty cool!

In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars
