No Name

Last night I dreamt
I stood
in the back yard
of my mother’s house

A stranger stood
inside her bathroom window
looking down
at me

And then I stood
at my old bedroom
window

looking out

I saw the side yard
and the State road

I was alone there
with the rush hour
traffic

CONCLUSION

God bless you all
And keep you safe,
And be with you
Through all your days.
