And when you come right down to it we spend our whole lives long honing our own personal moral imperative, don’t we? So there is no way that it could completely coincide with the majority opinion.

Yeah. And that’s the angst of being a social animal, is it not? We have the opinions of others with which to contend all our lives long, don’t we?  And yet we have to be true to our own hearts. So, a thought for the New Year.

Happy New Year to each and every one of you. May your New Year be prosperous beyond all your dreams, and happy, and healthy. And may you find new friends who are true and good to you, and who will help you, and whom you can help.
