Sat Kriya automatically takes advantage of these bandhas or ‘locks’ of kundalini yoga. Even without our knowledge of the locks, the stance of the kriya causes root lock, diaphragm lock, and neck lock to occur.

Thus if we perfect the Sat Kriya pose as we practice the kriya, the ‘great lock’ of kundalini yoga will draw energy up the spine and clear and enlarge the central vertical power current.
