The Human Personal Energy Field: Power Currents and Energy Centers
Matthew Nihra: In this section, the series author has picked and chosen those yogic and Lightworker techniques that help her to attain ‘neutral mind’. She has added an overlay of understanding to help synchronize the Ascension lore with the ancient esoteric teachings. As she explains it to me, insofar as possible she has dovetailed in what information she could glean from psychology, psychiatry, and human biology. Then where it seems the images available online might be more simply depicted, she has devised and added new images for your perusal.

There are three main ‘power currents’ in the human personal energy field. The image below depicts the first of these, the ‘sushumna’, through which flows the ‘central vertical power current’ or ‘kundalini’ of the human energy field. The sushumna is shown as a column of white Light that runs vertically along the spine.

Along the sushumna are the main energy centers or ‘chakras’ of the human energy field. In the image below, personal chakras 1 through 7 … those within a person’s torso, neck, and head … are depicted as spheres of Light. The colors, from lowest to highest, are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

The image below symbolically portrays a detail of the ‘third-eyepoint’ … otherwise known as the 6th chakra or ‘ajna’ … and the crown chakra … which is also known as the 7th chakra or ‘many-petaled lotus’. The indigo sphere of Light at the level of the eyebrows (or slightly higher) represents the third-eyepoint. The violet sphere of Light at the top of the head and the multicolored lotus flower that surrounds it represent the crown chakra.
These two are related to the pituitary gland and the pineal gland respectively, which are located quite close together in the human brain. In the image, I represent their close association as the stem of the lotus flower.

This next image depicts the second of the three main energy currents of the human personal energy field, the ‘ida’. This second energy current is represented as a wavy white line of Light. You may note that this white line of Light originates at the left side of the base of the spine (which is to say, on the right side of the image as viewed by my reader).
The cooling and relaxing energy of the ida courses upward through the chakras to the third-eyepoint. This energy flows through the left nostril and affects the right hemisphere of the brain, which is related to intuition, imagination, and creativity.

This third energy current is represented as a wavy tawny-colored line of Light. You may note this tawny-colored line of Light originates at the right side of the base of the spine (which is to say, on the left side of the image as viewed by my reader).
The warming and invigorating energy of the pingala courses upward through the chakras to the third-eyepoint. This energy flows through the right nostril and affects the left hemisphere of the brain, which is related to analytical, logical, and scientific ways of thinking.
