Dear Ones,
These charts explain how we can exert our will power on the conscious mind through body movements that influence the subconscious mind. In that way we can consciously optimize our response to threat energy.
The second chart shows the five yoga techniques that can be used to expand our energy field so as to yoke our stubborn subconscious minds to our conscious minds.
These two new charts have been created for the upcoming revised video 13 (“Enlightenment I”) in the series “Mastering the Mind.” I have added the text explanations for the charts as well …

By means of will power, our conscious mind can use the bodily movements under our conscious control … those innervated by the somatic nervous system … to influence our subconscious mind, which normally is the mind that controls the nerves of the autonomic nervous system and the fight-or-flight response and the ‘freeze-fawn-and-flop responses’. In that way we can consciously control our responses to threat energy.

The path to voluntary control of our involuntary responses is set forth in ancient yogic lore. The yoga techniques set forth in the ancient texts are ways of expanding and refining our human energy fields. When we practice these techniques, our conscious minds become able to control our subconscious minds.
The yoga techniques at our disposal are hand gestures (mudras); sacred chants (mantras); breathing techniques (pranayama); body postures (asanas); and yoga sets (kriyas) that include various combinations of mudras, mantras, pranayama, and asanas.
Among the simplest of these yogic techniques are the pranayama, which involve conscious control of our breathing patterns.
