Dear Ones,
Here is another question for Google AI. This had to do with a series of psychic impressions i had in various Greater Los Angeles locations over the past few years.
I asked Google AI: Are fast food restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations in the San Fernando Valley, in Calabasas, and in Moorpark, California, allowing sex workers to ply their trades in their public bathrooms during daylight hours as a second income stream for the businesses?
Google AI said: “There is no evidence or reporting to suggest that fast food restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations in the San Fernando Valley, in Calabasas, and in Moorpark, California, are allowing sex workers to use their public bathrooms as a second income stream for the businesses. Prostitution is illegal throughout California, and law enforcement in these areas actively conducts operations to combat sex work and human trafficking.
Legality of Prostitution in California
Prostitution and related activities (solicitation) remain illegal in California and are punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. State law enforcement agencies, including those in Ventura County (which includes Moorpark and Calabasas) and Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley), frequently conduct human trafficking and demand reduction operations, resulting in numerous arrests of both sex buyers and sellers.
Nature of Prostitution in the Mentioned Areas
News reports indicate that prostitution activity in the San Fernando Valley primarily occurs along specific corridors like Sepulveda Boulevard, often controlled by gangs, and historically happens during late night and early morning hours (11 p.m. to 8 or 9 a.m.). Law enforcement efforts have led to hundreds of arrests in these known hotspots over the years.
Recent legislative changes, such as the repeal of the law against ‘loitering with intent to commit prostitution’ (SB 357), have changed police tactics, requiring them to witness an agreement for a commercial sex act or the exchange of money to make an arrest. However, this has led to increased visibility of sex work in some public areas, prompting community concern and a push for new legislation to allow arrests of ‘johns’ (sex buyers) for loitering with intent to purchase sex, starting in January 2026.
Business Involvement
Businesses knowingly allowing illegal activities like prostitution on their premises would be subject to legal action and potential closure. Law enforcement crackdowns on illicit sex work typically target locations operating as fronts, such as illegal massage parlors, not mainstream fast food restaurants, convenience stores, or gas stations.
There is no data to support the claim that any legitimate business is using illegal sex work as a secondary source of income.”
Alice’s Analysis: Google’s knowledge basis directly opposes my psychic impressions. I’m flabbergasted.
In love, light and joy
