Dear Ones,

We are moving into a time of High Light. A Cannibal CME is expected tomorrow, 8 August 2023. This comprises a long-duration X1.6-class flare piggybacked by a magnetic filament.

Cannibal CMEs can be quite awesome – G2 or maybe even G3. Fasten your seatbelts!

Today there has been another X1-class solar flare. Despite deep shortwave radio blackouts over the Pacific Ocean today, that new flare is expected to produce an Earth-directed CME.
