Dear Ones,
Here is a very cool video! It seems like the Cockatoo on the left, near the end of the video, is saying “I like that” – first by expanding its head feathers …. Can you see it? … and then at the very end of the video, by looking at the Cockatoo on the right and whispering the words with its tongue.

My white homing pigeon (a peace release bird) whispers silently with its tongue in the same way. I told it it is ok to speak out loud, but i guess it feels silence is safer. I think it prefers not to attract the attention of its housemate Oreo cat.
Oreo cat has started speaking English vocally, but only first thing in the morning … or immediately on my return from running errands. She is such a sparse speaker, and so easily influenced by big birds and squirrels and humans who are into mind control.
Hugs are better than conversations with Oreo, as far as I’m concerned. On the other hand, when other cats sidle by or confront her outside the patio door, she waxes quite vocal.
Io lux et pax nobiscum.
Joy, light and peace be with us!
