LEFT BRAIN AND RIGHT BRAIN; MALE AND FEMALE CLAIR AUDIENCES

For those of us who hear clair chatter from time to time … you may have noticed that left brain thinking brings in mostly men, and right brain thinking brings in mostly women.

I have been running into some trouble because I use my left brain more than my right brain, which is unusual for a woman. So in my clair chatter I have been running into mostly men, whose way of expressing themselves is a little more rough and ready than my own. And also inclined to be less spiritual than is my point of view. It has been, well, unnerving. So I have been casting about for a solution: How to escape from this unintended male audience.

ON CHANGING THE DOMINANT EYE SO AS TO SWITCH GENDER RECEPTIVITY IN ONE’S CLAIR AUDIENCE

As you may know, most folks have a dominant eye … the one that they usually see from. Intuition tells me this has to do with the side of the brain they usually use. So for a changeup, notice which eye is your dominant eye. You can tell by placing a hand over one eye, and then the other. See which feels most comfortable … that is your dominant eye.

Then practice seeing out of your non-dominant eye. You can do this by concentrating on the tactile sensation of the skin around the eye you want to learn to use. Or you can just put your hand over the other eye. After a while it will be easy to notice your brain activity … whether it is left or right brain … and just switch naturally from one lobe to the other.

I found that concentrating on right-eye viewing booted me out of my male audience. This has been especially helpful when they got to thinking about cockadoodle doo, one-upmanship, world domination (big sigh!), and stuff like that.
