Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice.
I found out something interesting today at church. It has to do with the Angelic Realm. So I will give you the background and I will tell you what happened. Two days ago I was in church. The habit is, in this church, to stand at your place in the pew, after you take Holy Communion, until the priest sits down. And then everyone sits down.
And so, I was surprised to see that, after the gentleman who sat next to me had taken Holy Communion, instead of standing with everyone else, he knelt, and was deep in devotional prayer and communion with God.
That got me thinking. And so today, when everyone was there and took Holy Communion, I thought I would give it a try too. There is something I should explain about Holy Communion, for those not familiar …
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is like this phase that we are in, on Earth … this phase of Regeneration and New Creation … What it is, is an understanding, and a promise, and a physical symbol … or understanding in the physical realm … that we have that ability to be in the physical realm … and be God Consciousness … be Christ consciousness.
And that is the meaning of Holy Communion: We remember that we can be like Christ while in our own physical bodies on Earth. It is a good thought, and a good ceremony, for those that are used to this kind of ceremony, during this transitional phase into New Creation.
With that as an aside … Just now I went up and took Holy Communion … this is like taking Christ consciousness into your own body … and then I went and knelt directly afterwards, instead of standing, with the rest of the congregation, till the priest sat down … which, from the standpoint of societal expectations, is kind of a hard thing to do, because there is that expectation to do like everyone else does.
So, in the interest of my mystical leanings, I tried kneeling. And … what do you know … it felt very comfortable to be kneeling while everyone else was standing. As well, I felt, in the Angelic Realm, a descent of angels, as if they immediately recognized something. The Angels descended, and they were all around me, The space around me became so sacred, so sweet, so new, and so beautiful!
It was quite an experience. It was quite a comfortable experience experience … that of disregarding societal expectations when my heart tells me that some other physical action is more appropriate for regenesis and renewal of my Soul. A small test case … yes … but a springboard for further discoveries.

I have three unrelated facts for you just now. Let’s see if I can remember them.
How to Avoid or Cancel Deals with the Devil
On Getting into Demonic Contracts by Mistake. The first one has to do with devils and demons and stuff like that. And what I have to say is this:
If you happen to find yourself in the questionable position of speaking with them, always know that no matter how reasonable their suggestion sounds, it is very important not to agree …because, through a work-around of the logical mind, they assume that, if you agree with them on any reasonable suggestion, then you have ‘bought into’ their realm.
The Solution. If, by chance, you do buy in … say, in a moment of sleepiness … then the only thing you have to do is to say …
Spirit to Team! I cancel, annul, and tear up all contracts! For the All, through Free Will!
Just do that whenever there is a little slip-up in that regard, and that will keep you free and clear of all those tricky word plays that they use to attempt to influence the human race. That is the first suggestion.
On Avoiding Being Mind-Controlled by the Demon Realm. The second thing has to do with the way that they manage to create images and sounds in our minds … in other words, their way of logging onto our natural, God-given telepathic processes.

… I have discussed how they have a technology for glomming together the tiny, axiatonal lines of the etheric net (which is one of our subtle bodies).
This thing that they do, interfering with telepathy, and logging onto telepathy, is like that.
They create in the etheric net a short circuit (as is often the case). They change the arc of energy there so that, inside of the mind, inside of the brain there is one spot … [points to left side of temple, above eye] … and on the other side (up a little, I think) … [points a little higher up, on the right side of the temple] … there is another spot … and they manage to arc the energy forward towards the front of the forehead … [points to a spot between the eyebrows] … where many people mistakenly think the third-eye point is.
So from the left side of the head … [points once more to left side of temple, above eye] … arcing around in front of the head … [traces with her finger a line across the forehead] … and back to that other side … [once more points a little higher up, on the right side of the temple].
And that is how they create the illusion that they are speaking with us, and that we are being mind controlled. It creates the illusion of object-based reality that is so opposite the law of love.
The Solution.The solution for that is to feel the third-eye point where it really is (which is in the center of the head. The pituitary gland is at the level of the eyebrows, but located in the center of the head. The pineal gland is at about mid-forehead level (what some people think of as the third-eye point), but also located in the center of the head.
There is a V-shaped energy that goes from the point on the face between the eyebrows, and from the center of the forehead, to the center of the head, where the pituitary gland and the pineal gland are.
Enough biology! The point here is: When you use your telepathy, make the point of your Awareness the very center of your mind. Do not push it forward, into the telepathic realm that carries us into the notion of being mind controlled. That is a mental filter, and an illusion, that we can project energy out of our minds … [moves finger forward from middle of forehead, towards the viewer] … and into the third-eye point of another person, and penetrate into their minds. These are nothing but illusions.
The power of the third-eye point, and the mastery of self … the mastery of the mind has to do with this point deep inside the brain. So feel the very center of your mind. Place your Awareness there. And that way you will be beyond Satan’s grasp … beyond the grasp of the demon world. They cannot play with you, with regard to false sensory identification. They cannot create that object-based reality that is so untrue, so opposite the law of love.
A Story About the Sylph I got at Baptism
That was point number 2. And now I have a story for you that I told, in part, before. And this has to do with a friend of mine in the realm of the nature spirits. It is a sylph that I know! And long ago it manifested as a fiery white cross on my back.
These sylphs, they say, are paired with human beings that are baptized in Jesus Christ. I have no doubt but what there are other sylphs that specialize in other religious paths, and other spiritual paths.
But when I was born … shortly thereafter … my parents took me for baptism in a Christian church. And at that moment … as I read later … my sylph and I became one. It became my partner in spirituality throughout my life.
I had forgotten about that! And then one day … I do not know why! … I was listening to the most beautiful religious music in a spirit-filled Christian church, and suddenly my sylph manifested as a brilliant, white, fiery cross on my back, in the place where the back funnel of the heart chakra is …

When it manifested, a river … an ocean … of cosmic love poured forth from the front of my heart … poured forth from the front of my heart every time that I was around other people … And when I would bless the waters, and walk in the woods it would happen.
Now … Why do sylphs pair with humans? They do this so that humans can reach a level of Spirit where, by sensing the heart, and feeling the heart, and opening it completely.
It is a beneficial partnership for both, because the sylph itself, while helping the human to perfect his or her energy of the heart, also perfects its own spiritual path. And such a sylph becomes transformed to a seraph, one of the highest orders of angels; it joins the seraphim.
There is that story.
On Thoth and the Emerald Tablets: The Angle, the Cross, the Circle, and the Vortex

It is a very deep metaphor, that of the cross and the circle, and I got to thinking about this question. Another meaning of that symbolism is that the sylph … the fiery cross … perfects the circle of the heart. Is that not cool? Very cool!
In a deep subconscious context, the cross bars a predator such as a snake from entering the underground home of a small mammal such as a pack rat. In the early human context, the cross might represent a barrier at the mouth of a human clan’s cave; the barrier, perhaps of logs in the form of a cross, might prevent a cave bear or sabre tooth tiger from
In another context … in the context of the geography of the mind in the world, the angles in the cross represent logical or left-brain thought, and the circles represent right-brain thought, and vortical motion represents the movement of the blood through the body and the escape of the human from this trap of this world of time and space, from the world of Duality.
So the sylph; the training of the left brain, and the understanding of its limitations; and the love of the natural world for our own hearts … those things all come together to transform us to the highest that we really are.

TRANSUBSTANTIATION OF BREAD AND WINE
What is it to be Christlike? To live one’s life in the spirit of Christ? What’s the true lesson of the Last Supper?
There Christ transformed bread and wine to his own Christ consciousness. He ‘transubstantiated’ these humble Earthly substances.
When his disciples ate the ‘accidents’ … what appeared to be bread and wine but were, in truth, Christ consciousness … they too became as Christ. Here are Christ’s words …
1 Corinthians 11:24-26 (KJV – public domain)
24 “And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 “After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”
But what was he really saying? What if he were showing us that, in that state of consciousness, we ourselves can transubstantiate Earthly matter to Christ consciousness?

When you look in the mirror, say to your own Soul: “I am Christ!” When you meet someone, say to their Soul: “You are Christ!” When you see your dog or cat, a farm animal, a wild animal, even a fly, say to their beingness: “You are Christ!” When you walk on the Earth, say to the trees and rocks and waters: “You are Christ!”
What will happen then, if we consecrate all we see and sense? Then all the world will be transformed to Christ consciousness.

THE EVOLUTION OF LIFE
Here is a Table on “The Evolution of Life” from page 44 of Arthur E. Powell’s book “The Solar System.” It gives a general notion how the devic kingdom (in the astral realm) and the human kingdom (in the physical and astral realms) are side-by-side evolving.
SYLPHS, HUMANS, AND BAPTISM: SWIFT SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION
You can see Sylphs (spelled ‘Sylfs’ in the chart) just below the level of individualization in the devic realm. I don’t see Cherubim and Seraphim on the chart, but from what I’ve read they are individualized, so they must be among the Astral Devas indicated on the chart.
For a Sylph, the process of aligning with a human through baptism into Christ Consciousness (1) can result in a great leap of evolution, into the higher devic realm.
And for the human who cherishes his or her association with the Baptismal Sylph, a great evolutionary jump into higher Christ Consciousness can result.
HOW THE ELEMENTALS HELP CREATE AND NOURISH PHYSICAL LIFE ON EARTH
This is not the only way in which the devic kingdom cooperates with the human kingdom, for indeed, no life would exist on Earth were it not for the efforts of the elementals, which create and nourish not only our own human bodies, but also all plants, animals, and mineral beings on our beautiful planet.
Note that the Solar Spirits (the ‘Solar Devi’) are at the very top of this chart on the evolution of life on Earth. The play of the Solar Spirits is expressed in solar flares, through which they fling creative and restorative bursts of light to all the planets and beings in our Sun’s care …

THE SIGN OF THE CROSS
From my youth, I remember the ‘sign of the cross’ which confers the blessing of Christ’s presence in our lives: In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti (in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit) …
Arthur E. Powell has an intriguing passage to do with the ceremony of Baptism, which includes the blessing conferred by the sign of the cross.
Citation: “The Mental Body.” by Lieut.-Colonel Arthur E. Powell, The Theosophical Publishing House Limited, London; printed by the Whitefriars Press, Ltd, Tonbridge and London, 1927 … “Chapter XXXII. Rebirth,” page 289, the first full paragraph, beginning “The ‘seeds’ …” through the second full paragraph on page 290, ending “… of Vishnu.”
According to the above passage, a child is born with seeds of evil sometimes termed in the Christian churches ‘original sin’. The making of the sign of the cross on a young child during the sacrament of baptism, creates an artificial elemental which is like a ‘guardian angel’. This thought form is ‘ensouled’ by a sylph.
Sylphs are air elementals, thus hard to depict. The above picture is of a Sea Sylph, but it reminds me of the Baptismal Sylph, which has the same sort of energy, but settles in the shape of a white, fiery cross onto a person’s back at the level of the heart chakra when the person is baptized …

The Sylph thus ‘protects our back’ … protects the back part of our heart chakra, which in some instances might otherwise be ‘stitched shut’ by nature spirits that have been bewitched by the dark. (3)
In Arthur Powell’s passage referred to above, there’s a description of baptism when practiced by the ‘Liberal Catholic Church’. In that ceremony, the priest makes the sign of the cross along the entire body of the child. The thought form so created is referred to, in the pass age as a ‘cuirass’. A cuirass is a defensive armor of the torso. In this case the cuirass is made of white light.
Here’s an image that reminds me of a cuirass of light that has settled on a person in the sign of a cross. To me, the dark background visually represents how the thought form, or else the Sylph, protects us from the dark. It is like a Warrior of Light protecting our heart:
ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION OF A BAPTISMAL SYLPH INTO A SERAPH
According to Arthur Powell’s passage, in the fortunate instance when the baptized child lives his life in the spirit and thought of Christ (what some call ‘walking with Christ’), then there comes a time when the Sylph is transformed into a Seraph. For the Sylph, this means ‘individualisation’ …
A seraph is a member of the highest order of angels, with individualized consciousness. The pink, winged figure below is a depiction of a Seraph by Giotto di Bondone …
After reading all this, I was really happy that I had been christened (baptized, blessed with the presence of Christ) in my early childhood.
Further, in recent years I have had an experience of my Sylph activating and bringing forth the love of Christ through my own heart chakra. For me, this is an absolutely glorious experience of ecstasy. This happened, apparently, because the spiritual music being played and sung by the musicians and the congregation in that church, were so very beautiful that my heart was filled to overflowing with joy at hearing it.
The mountain of Christed energy I encountered when my Sylph activated had an untoward side effect: The pastor in the Christian congregation where I had been worshiping, along with two ushers, ushered me out of the church, and asked me not to come back.
How Christ’s Light Reveals the Darkness in This World
When Christed energy arrives in our lives, it can be disconcerting to other people, as the light of Christ shows, in striking detail, the dark in this world, which had heretofore remained hidden.
When those around us see what is before them, in this duality play on Earth, they begin to realize than choices must be made … very important choices for the welfare of their Souls.
The choices that lie before us, at each turn of the path, in every second of our waking consciousness, are these: To turn to the Light of Christ, or to fall back into the great slumber of darkness.
When each of us begins to rise to the vision of Light and Dark, the first thing that happens is, we feel that someone else has ‘done something to us’ … Someone else has brought beings of darkness into our lives.
On Aligning with Christ, Rather Than Blaming or Judging Others
This, though, is a misapprehension. Instead of blaming or judging others, it’s better to align with Christ, to know that he is with us and will protect us. That is the first step on our Christed journey.
Then, should others blame us for what their newly opened eyes begin to see, let us not judge them as they judge us. Let us pray Christ may confer the blessing of his love and light upon them.
I say this by way of caveat, as it seems that even a little bit of greater Christ consciousness … as in my case … is always swiftly followed upon by misunderstanding from those around us. If yours is that path, may you will be the more easily able to cope with what may follow, be it joyous or upsetting, from the standpoint of social acceptance.
How the Sign of the Cross Can Bring Us Great Joy
Setting that aside, I would like to end on this happy note: Lately, I have noticed that when I practice the sign of the cross my Sylph feels great joy, and my heart chakra energy feels protected and free to express itself in the world.
And so, for me, the sign of the cross is the answer to many worldly concerns.
