The True Story of Adam and Eve

What really happened in the Garden of Eden? …

Adam and Eve were having a wonderful time, exploring the Art of Love under a beautiful tree known as the Tree of Long Life and Happiness.

It was summertime. Little did they know, there was a very large snake in the tree. The devil came by and said to the snake, in a low, snarly, hissy voice (so that the snake could understand) …

Tell Adam and Eve that what they’re doing is Evil!

So the snake snuck along slowly, till it was near their ears.

By this time they were asleep under the tree, cuddled in each other’s arms. Dreaming sweetly of conjugal love.

The snake hissed in their ears like this: What you did was wrong! Trust me on this! I just found out from the fellow that owns the Book of Good and Evil.

Their eyes opened wide. They looked at each other.

Adam said to Eve: WHY did you tempt me?

Eve said to Adam: WHY did you treat me like an evil thing?

Then God, who had been listening all the time (naturally) sent just a hint of his magnificent, loving heart down to the vicinity of the devil, the snake, the tree, and Adam and Eve. But just a hint was more than enough! Everyone was struck with awe, looking up at Him.

And God said: My children, this dissing of your human nature is truly not to my liking. I like Love. Hate’s just not my thing. My feeling is, this Garden, and this Tree of Long Life and Happiness, are just not the place for the two of you. Until you kiss and make up.

So out they went from the Garden of Eden, and into a Dimension NOW known as Duality. A Dimension of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

You all know, from the Bible, what happened then (1). And from Joni Mitchell, how the longing of their children grew to return to the non-dual state:

And all we many children of Adam and Eve, at this moment of Ascension, have, after all these aeons, found our way back. Back to the Garden of Earth.

What damage has been done, will be undone.

All of us, all humankind, shall join in this Great Song, the Song of Earth Arising.

Yet in the Bible there is mention of the Cherubim and Seraphim, the Powers and Potentates, Thrones and Dominions, the Virtues and Principalities, the Archangels and the Angels …

Certain of the archangels are the highest order of beings in the Devic Kingdom; these are termed ‘devas’ or ‘devi’. As it turns out, there are different sorts of devas (the highest beings in the nature spirit line of evolution, which is separate from but complimentary to, the human line of evolution, whose highest beings are Spiritual Adepts). Who knew!

THE BIBLE: ANGELS VERSUS BEINGS OF LIGHT (ETs)

In our understanding of the Bible, there is a ‘glom’ regarding angels and messengers from God (described as men surrounded by Light). Actually, these are different sorts of beings. Angels are beings that include the Devic Evolutionary Line. Beings of Light who look like men are Star Brethren, such as the Hathors of Sirius and Venus, the Arcturians, and the Pleiadians. These are apparently our brothers and sisters of the stars … those who, when our hearts are tinged with fear, are known at ‘ETs’. But when our hearts are fully lit, they are known as our Star Brethren …

Dear Ones,

I have been thinking about the Bible doctrine that Mary was a Virgin and also the Mother of God. I wondered what application it might have for all women. An idea came to me during the church service yesterday.

THE SACREDNESS OF CHILDREN BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK

In the traditional way of thinking of the Virgin Birth, of course, Mary, a woman who had known no man, was blessed by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to the Son of God. Well if we take it this way, then this might imply that sexuality and Divinity are opposites.

But to look at the conception in terms of women everywhere, the notion that Mary, a young unmarried woman, conceived a child who was the Son of God, could offer a benediction to all unwed mothers. To read that the Angel said to Mary, that her child would be great and would be called the Son of the Most High, might help us understand that all children, regardless of the circumstances of their birth, deserve love and respect, and are capable of feats of great courage and great worth in the world.

The crux of the issue seems to lie in whether Mary was an unwed mother, or whether this was truly an Immaculate Conception. But maybe, in either case, we could say that conception is an immaculate event. That all mothers are blessed with God’s love. That childbirth is one of God’s greatest miracles. That all children are children of God. And this is the conclusion I draw from the story of Mother Mary, whose solid, steadfast, blue white Light imbues all those who revere her.

A Vision: Choosing the Light . by Alice B. Clagett .

Dear Ones,

In the hours before dawn today, I could feel the light massing on nearby Earth, just beyond my ken. I felt it preparing to leap into our vision, over the far horizon, into our lives and homes, our backyards and our mountainsides. Preparing to leap, sparkling, from rooftop to rooftop, from home to home, all across this great City of the Angels …

I could feel it there, before I saw it. I opened the drapes. All was dark. I could feel how dark the world around me was, here in Los Angeles, on the astral plane. I could feel the beings of darkness assailing me, and assailing many others.

And then I had an inner illumination. These are the words that were gifted me at that moment:

“I am blessed by God.”

I thought, “What beautiful words! What a beautiful early morning gift!”

And for a few minutes, as I repeated them over and over, I very tangibly felt the astral darkness recede, and a shield of Divine protection come round me.

And then I thought:

“My goodness, this is no time for cult of personality. No time for pride. No time to rely on our rational minds. We must set all this aside, and place our faith in God alone. We must place our faith in the Highest.

“In truth, we sometimes place our devotion at the feet of worldly leaders of religious movements rather than relying on God. Yet if we were to go to the teachings of those we revere, no doubt we would discover that our great spiritual teachers spent their whole lives relying on God. And in so discovering, we might turn to God as well.”

After a little while, I looked out my window again, and there was the morning light! Looks like it’s going to be a cloudy day here in LA, but nevertheless, this new morning light warms my heart.

I was thinking later about my faith in Christ’s teachings, and reminiscing about the times when I’ve truly felt Divine Love shining in my heart. These have been, without a doubt, the highlights of my life.

For those of us who look to Christ’s love, and also for those who follow the tradition of Judaism, what better words than these? :
