Afterlife: Astral Plane . by the Theosophists, with comments by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

The below-referenced account of the astral plane encountered in the afterlife is useful in an Ascension context, because we are experiencing the same terrain while in physical form. Further, the same lessons can be learned from it as might be learned by a human being who is ‘in the know’ after passing from physical form.

And, the same navigational caveats and goals apply as we get to know the astral plane while in physical form. We are passing from the lower to the higher astral planes now, and it is good to know the how and wherefore of it.

The account is from Arthur E. Powell’s book “The Astral Body and Other Phenomena.” To preserve their copyright I must provide the reference rather than including the quotation. I hope this will not deter the reader from looking up the passage …

Citation: “The Astral Body and Other Astral Phenomena,” compiled by Arthur E. Powell, published 1927, Quest Book edition 1973, copyright The Theosophical Publishing House, London, Ltd. 1965 … “Chapter XIV: The After-Death Life: Particulars,” page 125, second full paragraph (beginning “It is of …”) through the fourth full paragraph on page 129 (ending “… impose upon himself”).

In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars
