I sought spiritual counseling from Jeffrey Allen lately … https://www.iamjeffreyallen.com/ … His advice was super clear and very helpful. He and Mother Mary did a great job of spiffing up my aura, too. He came up with some great healing images, a couple of which I’d like to share with you.
THE FIRST STORY: HOW LIGHT OVERCOMES DARK
Jeffrey Allen said (and I paraphrase): Image two rooms connected by a door. In one room there’s a light shining, and the other room is dark. What would happen, he said, if you open the door? Will the darkness from the dark room step in and make the other room darker? No, quite the opposite! The light in the light room will make the dark room a little less dark.
So…. Darkness has no power; no power at all. Light is the true power. Darkness is just absence of light.
THE SECOND STORY: THE LIGHT SWITCH THAT TOGGLES BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER
Then he mentioned the notion of a room with a special kind of light switch on the wall; one that only turns the light on. I had trouble with this concept because my dad taught me about repairing light switches when I was young, and my young child self had learned about the on-off quality of light switches. So I changed this visualization up like this:
I imagine a room with a light switch on the wall. When I toggle the switch upward, the ceiling light turns on. When I then toggle it downward, the light gets brighter. When I toggle it upward again, it gets brighter still. And so on. So for me, there is nothing but light, light, and more light. That’s the reality of my existence. What fun!
