Dear Ones,

Here is the eighteenth in the series “Tiny Anthologies: Devas of the Forests of Earth.” This series includes the devas of different types of trees, and also the devas of the chaparral forests … the dwarf forests or ‘elfin-wood’ of Southern California.

Very often I find that the devas of the forests of Earth … the tree spirits or dryads … are spherical energies that turn the Light of the Sun this color or that depending on the tree that these devas overlight.

Sometimes, in addition to or instead of spherical energies, there are splendid multicolored rays or bursts of Light.

Sometimes you may see … dancing in the Light of the Devas of the Forest … the diamond-shaped beings of Light that I feel to be the helpers of these Devas of the Forest. These diamond-shaped beings I feel to be the nature spirits of esoteric lore.

ON GAINING ‘SECOND SIGHT’ OR ‘EXTRASENSORY PERCEPTION’

Of course, faeries and elves and pixies and brownies and gnomes and the like are fourth dimensional beings, not the third dimension … not members of the physical world, as they seem to be in the video mentioned above.

First gain the ‘second sight’ or ‘extrasensory perception’, develop your powers of intuition, then you will be able to see them or sense them or feel them. A person has to prove to themselves that such beings exist, and not rely on the reports of others; don’t you feel that to be true?

Dear Ones,

Here are some photos of artwork by tree spirits … The first two photos are from a tree that grows in Towsley Canyon near Santa Clarita; it seems clear that the spirit of this California oak tree was fond of two owls. Maybe they lived in the tree.

The next tree spirit, which clearly had a horse as a friend, expresses itself through an eucalyptus tree that grows in Corriganville, near Simi Valley, California.

Another, which likes children, expresses itself through an ash tree that grows in West Hills, California …

The next tree spirit expresses itself through a eucalyptus tree in Tuna Canyon Park, California. It is clear from the heart impression on the chest of the owl portrayed in the bark of the tree that the tree spirit formed a close bond with a very special owl friend.

Then there is a jacaranda tree spirit that likes some nature spirits from the forested back yard across the street from where it stands.

Then I found a place where the tree spirits had made the images of cattle and people in the trunks of two oak trees.

“An elemental is a mythic being described in occult and alchemical works from around the time of the European Renaissance and particularly elaborated in the 16th century works of Paracelsus. There are four elemental categories: gnomes, undines, sylphs, and salamanders … These correspond to the Classical elements of antiquity: earth, water, air and fire. Aether (quintessence) was not assigned an elemental. Terms employed for beings associated with alchemical elements vary by source and gloss …

“Universally, an elemental is a type of magical entity who personifies a force of nature and controls natural powers derived from their element.

“Within the Paracelsian concept an elemental is a mythic being described in occult and alchemical works from around the time of the European Renaissance and particularly elaborated in the 16th century works of Paracelsus. From the classical Paracelsian perspective there are four elemental categories: gnomes, undines, sylphs, and salamanders … These correspond to the Classical elements of antiquity: earth, water, air and fire. “Paracelsus … noted that undines are similar to humans in size, while sylphs are rougher, coarser, longer, and stronger. Gnomes are short, while salamanders are long, narrow, and lean. The elementals are said to be able to move through their own elements as human beings move through air. Gnomes, for example, can move through rocks, walls, and soil. Sylphs are the closest to humans in his conception because they move through air like we do, while in fire they burn, in water they drown, and in earth, they get stuck. Paracelsus states that each one stays healthy in its particular ‘chaos,’ as he terms it, but dies in the others.”

I have heard that the ruler of the Salamanders might be the Jinn … although the term is spelled ‘Djin’ in this reference …
