Alice B. Clagett: Dear Ones, Welcome!  I am Alice B. Clagett, author of this video series. I am delighted to be here with you today. Now let me introduce today’s co-narrator Matthew Nihra.

Matthew Nihra: Hello and welcome! I am pleased to be here with you. This is the twelfth video in a series on mastering the mind and the human electromagnetic field (the EMF). The title of this video is “A Passing Thought on Comets, Meteoroids, and Carrington Events.”

Series Author Alice B. Clagett and I will co-narrate today’s video. The first section of this video has to do with our welfare and the passing of comets and asteroids through our solar system. The title of this section is “Close Encounters with Comets and Asteroids.” Let us begin …

Asteroids are rocks …

. . . . .

It may take these objects a very long time to orbit our Sun … up to a million years … or it may take only a short time. To put this into perspective, a short-period comet or asteroid orbits the Sun in less than 200 years.

A meteoroid is a small fragment of a comet or a small fragment of an asteroid that enters Earth’s atmosphere …

. . . . .

Sometimes this meteoroid burns up in our atmosphere, but sometimes a piece of the meteoroid lands on Earth. The part of the meteor-OID that lands on Earth is called a meteor-ITE …

. . . . .

A famous meteoroid in recent years was the asteroid fragment that coursed through the skies of the Russian city of Chelyabinsk on 15 February 2013. It was the type of meteoroid that creates a bright streak of light known as a ‘meteor’ …

Image: “A meteor during the peak of the 2009 Leonid Meteor Shower. The photograph shows the meteor, afterglow, and wake as distinct components,” by Navicore, 17 November 2009, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Leonid_Meteor.jpg … CC BY 3.0 Unported

. . . . .

So then a ‘meteor’ is not an object in the skies of Earth. Rather, it is a streak of light that is associated with the arrival of a meteoroid.

A very bright meteor … a very bright streak of light through our skies … is known as a ‘fireball’ …

Image: “Leonid Meteor Storm, as seen over North America on the night of November 12-13, 1833,” by Edmund Weiss, published 1888, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Leonid_Meteor_Storm_1833.jpg … public domain

. . . . .

Should the ‘fireball’ explode in our skies, then that event is termed a ‘bolide’ …

. . . . .

What the residents of Chelyabinsk saw in their sky on the morning of 15 February 2013 was a ‘fireball’ that exploded with such force that the newspapers called it a ‘superbolide’ …

. . . . .

And what does it mean when a fragment of a comet or a fragment of an asteroid impacts Earth’s atmosphere? Series author Alice B. Clagett has a thought on this …

Image: “The Andromedid or Bielid meteors as seen over France on 27 November 1872, a product of the breakup of Biela’s Comet several decades previously,” by Amedee Guillemin, 2 January 1877, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Andromedid_meteors,_November_1872.jpg … public domain

. . . . .

Alice B. Clagett: In our lifetimes, we are likely to encounter the near proximity of only a few of the comets and asteroids that orbit our Sun. Yet, I feel, those comets and asteroids that pass through our Solar System during our lifetime have a special meaning for us.

Image: “Phaetheon, the Solar System’s Sodium-Fizzing Asteroid,” illustration by NEA at NASA … COMMENTS: The sodium fizzle from Phaetheon, which is an asteroid that orbits the Sun every 1.4 years, is thought to produce the Geminid meteor showers. . . . . .

Some people theorize that the periodic coursing of a comet or asteroid through our Solar System is one method of Divine information flow and transformation. That is my own feeling about it as well.

I propose that Earth’s encounters with fragments of comets and asteroids have a similar meaning. In the case of meteoroids that enter Earth’s atmosphere, however, this Divine information is especially apt for humankind.

I propose that a comet or asteroid is like the Roman God Mercury, whose predecessor was the Greek God Hermes …

Image: “Mercury Greek [Roman] God,” by Uva79, 12 September 2017, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mercury-greek-god.jpg … CC BY-SA 4.0 International

. . . . .

Mercury and Hermes were thought, in ancient times, to be the messengers of the gods. Could it be that the Roman god Mercury was a symbol for the sighting of a meteor in the night sky?

If so, then the ancients may have thought that such a sighting might bring them messages from the gods, who, in ancient times were considered to be members of a pantheon that might be said to collectively represent what we term today the one God. I also feel that may be so.

. . . . .

Like a gateway event, a comet or asteroid can bring us Ascension gifts, or it can pose some trouble to do with changes in the magnetosphere of Earth and instability of our personal energetic array.

Now our co-narrator Matthew Nihra will introduce the topic of the famous Chelyabinsk meteor as a recent example of this theory. The title of this section is “The Chelyabinsk Meteor — Good News or Bad?”

The Chelyabinsk Meteor – Good News or Bad?

Matthew Nihra: Chelyabinsk is a city of over a million people that is located in south central Russia.

. . . . .

Alice B. Clagett: Matthew, from the standpoint of Divine care, why do you suppose this breathtaking event might have occurred?

Matthew Nihra: A good question, Alice. I have some thoughts on that topic …

One hundred kilometers northwest of the thriving metropolis of Chelyabinsk … about an hour and a half’s drive away … is Chelyabinsk-40, home to over 80,000 people. This is a ‘closed city’, which once was kept secret, and now has been christened ‘Ozyorsk’ …

Ozyorsk and the region around it are contaminated with plutonium from the 1957 disaster at the Mayak plutonium plant. The disaster is variously termed the Kyshtym disaster; the Mayak disaster, after the name of the plant; and the Ozyorsk disaster, after the new name for the closed city at that location …

With this in mind, let us turn to series author Alice B. Clagett for her interpretation of the Chelyabinsk meteor event …

. . . . .

Some people term the Chelyabinsk meteoroid explosion catastrophic, as if the Universe ‘had it in for us’. My own notion is markedly different from that. Intuition tells me that, with a minimum of injury to us humans, the shock wave of the explosion of the meteoroid over Chelyabinsk cleansed and healed the scar wrought on this beautiful region of Earth by mankind’s nuclear contamination experiments and mistakes.

For more on that, search my website for the blog entitled “Good News Arrives with the Chelyabinsk Meteor” …

And now here is Matthew Nihra on the online theory that comets may trigger Carrington events. The title of this section is “Good Comets, Bad Comets, and Carrington Events” …

Good Comets, Bad Comets, and Carrington Events

Matthew Nihra: It could be there are ‘good comets’ and ‘bad comets’ … and ‘good’ meteor showers and ‘bad’ meteor showers … as regards possible changes in the Soul DNA of Earth’s beings, including humankind. That is quite a broad notion to consider.

. . . . .

It might be useful to keep a journal on the noospheric effects we perceive to occur with the impingement of Earth’s magnetosphere by comets and by annual meteor showers. From a personal standpoint, that is one way to tell whether such a theory holds true …

. . . . .

Then there is a theory that Sun-grazing comets such as Comet Lovejoy might trigger bigger geostorms, and maybe even a Carrington event on Earth …

Initially there was a great flood of X-rays that apparently rendered measurement of their magnitude ineffective. That would have been a Carrington Event, but it seems to me that the solar flare was not Earth-directed. However, the great number of what I term ‘Earth-directed solar flare flurries’ at the time may have created a resonance or reverb effect on Earth. –Alice B. Clagett

Image: 2003 Halloween Storms, by Senior Airman Joshua, 18 January 2005, in Wikimedia Commons … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Aurora_dmsp.jpg … public domain … DESCRIPTION: “Composite image of an aurora seen by the DMSP satellite on 30 October 2003” … COMMENTS: I have read that the largest solar flare in this group was X28 (classed by some as X40 or X50). –Alice B. Clagett

. . . . .

Now here is series author Alice B. Clagett with an alternative to catastrophic thinking in regard to Carrington events …

Alice B. Clagett:  I know there is an inclination expressed online towards catastrophic thinking regarding Carrington events. My own feeling is that catastrophic thinking does not help humankind through the Ascension process. Instead, catastrophic thinking may temporarily throw a person’s Awareness into one of the hellworld dimensions.

. . . . .

That experience of a hellworld dimension would cause a conflict between our own energy array and that of New Earth. Do you not feel it to be so? Were that disparity of energetic expression to occur, then the Ascension process might become for us far more rocky … more fraught with fear … than necessary.

. . . . .

Even in the midst of death and destruction, there are ways to hold what we see before us in the physical world without turning to catastrophic thinking. One such instance is depicted in the painting before you.

Despite the catastrophic omens around him, the Christ figure in the painting is bringing in the Light of a new day on Earth.

. . . . .

This role of gifting Earth with Christed Light is that which is undertaken by Lightworkers today. Their Soul mission is to offer what help they may as all humankind embarks on the adventure of New Life on New Earth, in the face of the chaos and tumult that inevitably take place during times of change-up to the New.

. . . . .

I feel it best to imagine the Universe as our gift from God, and its unexpected gifts of Soul upliftment as His Ascension gifts to us. In fact, I hold the possibility of a Carrington event in that light.

I get it may seem that a Carrington event is catastrophic, but such an event might offer unexpected Ascension benefits.

For instance, what I judge to be long-term deleterious physical and mental health effects of electronics might be forestalled by a Carrington event. Why is that?

. . . . .

That is because a Carrington event might render electronics inoperable. If that were to happen, then the nations of Earth might quickly construct systems of finance, …

… that do not rely on electronics anymore. As the advent of electronics is quite recent in Earth history, such a task … although monumental … would not be beyond the realm of the possible.

… the change-up would also disperse the very real threat posed by cybercrime and cyber fraud to the implementation of world commerce, world finance, and global communication.

It may, in fact, be true that all the possible future catastrophic events portrayed so vividly in the movie theatres …

. . . . .

In other words, our fears of change as portrayed in the movies might be overlooking a greater truth: That God is looking out for humankind.

I feel that change, though a little frightening, is in fact a gift from God for our upliftment.

Every cloud has a silver lining! …

I find that thought allows for even-minded action in the face of bad news of great proportions. Now here is Matthew Nihra with a few concluding words …

Conclusion

Matthew Nihra: This has been but a passing glance at the notion that comets and asteroids may bring Ascension gifts to humankind. The topic of close encounters with Sun-grazing comets and asteroids brings along with it concerns about Carrington Events and bad news for Earth as well. It is my hope that today’s discussion has helped set those concerns to rest.

Image: “Meteor Burst,” by NASA Ames Research Center/S. Molau and P. Jenniskens, 1995 … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Meteor_burst.jpg … DESCRIPTION: “This picture is of the Alpha-Monocerotid meteor outburst in 1995. The Perseid meteor shower, usually the richest meteor shower of the year, peaks in August. Over the course of an hour, a person watching a clear sky from a dark location might see as many as 50-100 meteors. Meteors are actually pieces of rock that have broken off a comet and continue to orbit the Sun. The Earth travels through the comet debris in its orbit. As the small pieces enter the Earth’s atmosphere, friction causes them to burn up.”

COMMENTS: I have read that the largest solar flare in this group was X28 (classed by some as X40 or X50). –Alice B. Clagett

Image: “Meteor Burst” [adapted and resized], by NASA Ames Research Center/S. Molau and P. Jenniskens, 1995 … https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Meteor_burst.jpg

DESCRIPTION: “This picture is of the Alpha-Monocerotid meteor outburst in 1995.
