I feel it to be a jinni’s representation of himself in humanoid form. I feel it to be a friendly overture, even though I was roughly tossed about by the sandy wind of the whirlwind that formed not a foot from where I was standing. I was astounded to find the image on the film as I played it at one-quarter speed. I feel the jinn, though more powerful by far than us human beings, might be our allies if we treat them with respect, and if we allow them their arid homelands on which to live and raise their families. I note they especially prefer to cavort in Earth’s astounding energetic vortices and portals. –Alice B. Clagett
