Dear Ones.

Here is a good news about COVID in the United States today …

As of today, the 7-day average for new COVID cases is 126 thousand.
The 7-day average for COVID deaths is 428 deaths.
As of 2022 the population of the United States is 332 million.

And here is the good news: That means the number of COVID deaths nationwide is only slightly more than one death per million people.

I checked the California figures, and the same is true for California.

To be specific, the figures are 1.3 COVID deaths/million per day for the nation, and 1.1 COVID deaths/million per day for California.

I figure this means the odds are long that COVID will lay you and me low. In fact, very long odds on that one!

What do you think about it? Could that be so? Could the COVID scare be just a news hype?
