Dear Ones,

Here are two adaptions of a photo I found touching. It has to do with fatherhood. Those are my Dad’s boots on the left, and me on the right, and he that held the camera.

If you look closely at the third photo, which is a ‘markup’, you can see a gnome on the ground, looking up at me. It looks like a friendly gnome, but serious, in the way of all the gnomes I have run across so far …
