Dear Ones,

Here is a video about a little whirlwind I encountered recently at a sacred music festival in the desert. Might it have been a genie (a jinni) dancing in delight at the beautiful music that was being sung? !

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

This is the end of a huge dust devil that came up, right upon us … the parking attendant and me … as I parked here today, It was incredible. I have never been in one before. Look, it is still dancing, right in the middle of the air …

It was dancing right on top of us for a minute or two. Look how it is turning!

Another person says: Look at the vortex!

I say: Look how it’s turning! Yeah! There is a vortex there! Look at it moving! Maybe I can get it even!

The other person says: It’s probably dancing to the music!

I say: Yeah! A ‘genie’ … a jinn up there …

He says: Yeah!

I: Yeah! Wow!

He: Just sitting there!

I: Think of that! Look, it’s making a pure channel now … like a column of energy going up.

COMMENTS: I videotaped this image on my camcorder. I feel it to be a jinni’s representation of himself in humanoid form. I feel it to be a friendly overture, even though I was roughly tossed about by the sandy wind of the whirlwind that formed not a foot from where I was standing. I was astounded to find the image on the film as I played it at one-quarter speed. 

I feel the jinn, though more powerful by far than us human beings, might be our allies if we treat them with respect, and if we allow them their arid homelands on which to live and raise their families. I note they especially prefer to cavort in Earth’s astounding energetic vortices and portals. –Alice B. Clagett

COMMENT: This appeared to me to be a self-portrait dynamically depicted in a whirling dust storm by a jinni or ‘genie’ of the Joshua Tree desert.
