Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice.

I was at church today, and I got a question in my mind: What is Sin? So I asked ‘up’ … you know? … and the answer I got is like this …

If you imagine a pond with very quiet water … a woodland pond … and then a leaf falls in. And for a minute or two, it is hard to see the trees around, and the reflection of the sky in the water, because there are little ripples there.

And those ripples are like sin.

And as time goes on, a mild wind … a little breeze … comes up. It blows the leaf over to the edge of the pond.

And then the breeze dies down. And what you see is the beautiful, perfect reflection of the sky. And that is the absolution of sin … the atONEment, or atonement, that happens when sin is resolved, and the pure nature of our Soul reveals itself.
