The Power of Imagination and Sandia Peak . by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

Something odd happened to me two days ago. I was driving, and I got to thinking about a Rumi and Meditation meetup I will be co-leading two weeks from now. I was concentrating so hard on being there with the folks in 2 weeks, I suddenly found the road I was driving on and the beautiful landscape just disappeared. Instead, I was there in the future, with the Rumi people.

This terrified me, and I suddenly recalled myself to the car, the landscape, and most particularly the steering wheel. All was well. Possibly no time had passed, I do not know. That will teach me to imagine vividly while driving.

Then there is another thing. I drove into Albuquerque today, and once again I noticed the incredible energy I had felt when I went through here in … I guess it was late November or early December? Absolutely incredible. Today it feels like I am joining with a huge vortex of energy — maybe 100 miles in radius, believe it or not. My head seems like it is expanding out into this vortex, no boundaries. There is a circling energy rising up from my base chakra, really strong. I have to center my energy exactly at my core, vertically, while sitting or standing. Wonder what will happen when I lie down?!

I originally thought the source of the energy might be Sandia Peak, which is on the northern flank of Albuquerque. It is almost as if this mountain might be one of New Earth’s chakras, activated. I did an internet search and found a clue that the center of this energy might be a tiny town named Placitas just the other side of the mountain. I will go exploring in a couple of days — check out Placitas and its environs.

In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars
