THE ALLEY
A Poem by Alice B. Clagett
amongst her early works

We were walking down an alley
and a child bounced out the door.
A white child kitten child
tumbled out the door.

So

we stepped over it.

Skies.

so I could eat (dayfood.

. . . . .

In love, light and joy,
