Dear Ones,
INTRODUCTION
Here is 1 John 2 on making good choices in life ..
1 John 2:15-17 (KJV, public domain)
15 “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
There is a lightly edited Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO
Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.
Right now I have three verses for you that I liked very much. They are in the First Epistle General of John, Chapter 2, verses 15-17. I liked them because they provide immediate direction about the Kingdom of God, and how to be in the eternal Light of God.
A Time of Choosing. The first verse goes like this …
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” –1 John 2:15
So here it is saying … you have heard this, right? … you have to choose whether to love the world or to love God the Father; that the love of the Father is capable of lighting up the heart of a person that loves the Father. But if we turn our attention and our love to the things of Creation, then it becomes much more difficult. We have to be very single-pointed. What do they say? To have ‘one eye’, right?
“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” –Matthew 6:22 (KJV, public domain)
We have to be very single-pointed about what we do in life, because life is kind of short, you know? … Reading onward …
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” —1 John 2:16
Now this is good, because it explains what is meant by the world and mammon …
Lust of the Flesh. So, “the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” … interesting, do you not think? And very poetic. [sighs] … Lust of the flesh most likely would be sexual desire that is not tempered by chastity or love for, say, one’s spouse. That is what I guess … You may have other ideas.
Lust of the flesh, according to Arthur Powell, compiler for the School of Theosophy, is like the desire elemental I have discussed in another blog …
Link: “The Desire Elemental,” by Alice B. Clagett, published on 31 July 2015 … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-5Ub ..
Arthur Powell’s associates always said that we have a desire elemental so that we can relate to this reality, this world. But the spiritual person needs to be constantly training and containing that energy, so that it serves the purpose of the Soul in this incarnation.
Lust of the Eyes. That might be the desire for possessions; the desire for riches and wealth and lands.
The thing about wealth and lands is that, if we think about them as something that we possess … instead of something that is assisting us, for the moment, in our Soul purpose … we get snagged up on that stuff, you know? It is better to think of the things that we see as an ever-changing Soul lesson that we are learning, than to think of them as things that we possess, because that snagginess kind of prevents us from learning our Soul lessons. That is what I think.
Pride of Life. I think that has to do with feeling that you are somebody in the world, you know? You have the social status. You have a certain arrogance of being a particular way in the eyes of other people.
You know, what do we really have, to be proud of, when life is really given to us by God, you know? We get it from God, and eventually give it back to God. So this pride of life consists of a kind of snagginess too; it is like we get stuck on what is happening at this very moment, and forget the beginning and the end of it, you know? … which is the Godliness from which we come and to which we go. So it is short-sightedness, I think; and stuckness, in the flow of the river of eternal life. You know? Last verse …
Death of the World Puts an End to Desire
“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” –1 John 2:17
Nice, huh? So he is saying, all this snag stuff will come to an end. The minute we pass on, none of that stuff will exist. The desire for it also will pass away, because the desire elemental leaves us, at the moment of death, and goes off to be with somebody else, I guess.
Aligning with God Is a Deathless State
” … but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” This is the main point here; the point is: Align now with the will of God. Right now, do God’s will in this lifetime, even though all these distractions exist, right?
When it says “abideth forever,” It does not mean ‘after death’, I feel. You could consider that the minute we align with the will of God, we are already in the eternal flow. So death holds no fear, because we continue, even after death, in the eternal flow of the will of God.
Very nice! See you all later. Take care.
In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO
REVELATION CHAPTER 1, KJV (public domain)
Dear Ones,
I know Ascension lore is a bit more optimistic in orientation than some of the ways of interpreting the Biblical Revelation of Saint John the Divine. So I thought I would provide some blogs on the chapters of Revelation, with comments in an Ascension context. Here is the blog on Revelation, Chapter 1.
The ‘standing in two worlds’ mentioned in the video is known in Ascension lore as ‘multidimensionality’. In this case, it means to place our awareness in both the physical world, 3D, which is the normal human awareness … and also in the Kingdom of God, 5D, the dimension of love and Light.
After the video is an edited Summary; beneath that is Revelation Chapter 1, the King James version (my mom’s favorite).

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO
Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.
I have been out walking by a reservoir in Colorado all day long today. It has been glorious … sometimes threatening to rain a little bit … but in general, very mild, with good cloud cover. It is a beautiful day, so I am very grateful for that, and grateful to be talking to you right now.
I was looking, just now, a little bit at Saint John the Divine’s Book of Revelation, Chapter 1, in which he is on the Isle of Patmos, waiting for God’s word … waiting for Christ’s word … so that he can write to the seven churches of Asia … the newly established Christian churches … and convey a message from Jesus.
In the very first chapter, he had a beautiful vision of Christ. He calls Him the Son of Man. He was standing in the midst of seven golden candlesticks. In his right hand, he had seven beautiful stars. And he explains, at the very end of the chapter, that the seven golden candlesticks were these churches, and the seven stars were the angels of the churches.
From that I gather that he is saying that Christ is sending the Angels to protect the churches of Christ … to protect all Christians and all Christian churches.
Even today, I will bet there are more Angels out there, protecting all the people and all the churches. So we can feel faith, and we can be hopeful that we will be protected by Christ and by the Angels …
There is a funny little insect on my camcorder right now … It looks like a tiny, white bee … beige, with white wings. [laughs] …
And so there is that; because this is a time of great tribulation, just a John said when he was writing to the churches. He said: I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. — Revelation 1:9, KJV (public domain)
The thing that I got from that was that he, John, was standing with the churches in their time of sorrow, now that Christ was arisen, and not actually walking among them.
Of course, Christ was there; the Angels were there; and there were many signs and wonders that were worked during that time, that showed people the way to their own hope and faith, even though Christ had risen.
Such is the case today, here in these times of Ascension, these times of tribulation; these times when we are not so sure what is going to happen next, we can count on Christ’s guidance. We can count on the Angelic realm to help us. Saint John, and Jesus himself, are here with us. as our companions in this time of tribulation.
And John says he also stands in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ. So he is standing in both worlds, at the same time. And that is something that we can look forward to as well. We can be with the people who need our help, here on Earth. We can serve the people of Earth. And we can also stand in Christ’s kingdom, and in Christ’s consciousness, and in his patience, ever at the ready.
People are arising at their own pace, and according to their own timing and that of God. Who are we to say when they should do so, or what should become of them? If this is a Free Will Planet, then this is their choice. It is not our job to lose patience. It is our job to stand at the ready; to be their companion, in their sorrow, and lift their hearts.
There is one other thing … something really special … that I got from this: The vision that John had of the Son of God was pretty stupendous. He saw him girt to the ground, in a beautiful white robe, with a golden girdle or belt. His hair was white and beautiful. His eyes were as a flame of fire … I think that means flashing with Light. And his feet like unto fine brass, (Revelation 1:15, KJV) … They were glowing, like beautiful fire …
Image: “One Like the Son of Man,” by David Miles … http://www.davidmiles.net/IMAGES/large_SonofMan.jpg … A man with a halo, clothed in a white robe with a yellow band across the chest, and holding a circle of 7 stars in his upraised right hand, stands before a hooded man face down on the ground.
In the Ascension world today, we call that the Body of Light … the beautiful Body of Light that a person has. We all have this Body of Light; but we are coming into our quantum abilities, and many other abilities. And we are learning to be aware of this Body of Light that we have, and that Christ showed to John. So that is something that is going to be happening to us.
The vision was so beautiful, and actually so awesome, that John just fell down, I think in a dead faint ..
17 “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” –Revelation 17-18, KJV (public domain)
So this is a passage that I would like to talk about a little bit, because this is what we are learning right now. This is the thing that we are learning.
Christ is saying he will show us the way to what we need to do today, right now, during the Ascension process … during what some call the Second Coming. First he says: Fear not. That is important: Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid of what Christ is, and do not be afraid of what is happening and what you see around you.
He says: I am the first and the last. I am sure there are a million scholarly texts on that. But suppose we just say that all we need to concentrate on, right now, is to walk in Christ’s footsteps, and to be like Him … And especially, to try our best to feel the energy of love for everyone that Christ felt. Christ forgave everyone. Christ loved everyone; you know? And it is a hard act to follow. But I think that is the thing: He is the first and the last, and the most important thing to pay attention to, right now … because the whole world … Earth herself … has ascended into Christ consciousness.
And we humans are the standouts, because of our mental filters and our thought processes and our memories. All those things need to be cleared. Because of those things, we are held back. You know? We are held back from this beautiful Earth that is without tribulation now.
If we just drop all our worries and our fears, we can stand with Christ in that beautiful Body of Light … just like Him, now, here on Earth.
This passage goes on … it is packed full of information. He says: I am he that liveth, and was dead–Revelation 1:18, KJV (public domain) … There are a couple of things here … I see people walking around all the time, that are not very aware, you know? And I see myself falling into lack of Awareness and lack of love. And that, in a way, is death, you know?
Christ was vibrantly alive with love. Even when he died, he came back, physically, through love. From this I gather that I ought to try to stay as alive in Christ’s love and Christ’s consciousness as I can. Do not be afraid of death; because Christ came back. And we can come back too. Death is a passing thing; but Christ’s love is the pendulum on which this Universe swings.
And he says: behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen –Revelation 1:18, KJV (public domain) … So it is! That is how it is! Christ conquered death; and that is confirmed in the next phrase …
He says: I … have the keys of hell and of death. Now what does that mean? Christ did, in a way, go through hell, in his crucifixion. And many people fear the possibility of hell when they die. Yet Christ conquered a fear of hell, He conquered hell itself, and he conquered death.
And we humankind … we followers of Christ … we who hope to experience that love that He knew … we are asked to do that today. This is our job right now! This is our job: Not to fear death. To know death for what it is: just a transitory thing. To know that we can regenerate our bodies if we wish to, just as He did. Even now, without dying, we can do that. Just to understand that we have that power now. We have that power.
Many people in the world today … because of the popular media … because of the understanding people have of the way the world is … are living in hell or purgatory, something like that. This is completely unnecessary.
We can make of the world whatever we wish to, through our own hearts; through our own love. And we do not have to work towards it. We can visualize it and create it right now.
I know I have said this many times, but it is becoming increasingly important to do it. [laughs] That is how I feel. Other people may not feel that urgency … Maybe it is only on my own timeline. But I am increasingly noticing the difference between feeling Christ consciousness, and forgetting about it. You know? It is becoming more and more important; and the results are far more dramatic, these days.
So say a little prayer for me, and I will say a little prayer for you too. I hope we have a chance … just like Saint John … to go out onto a quiet place, like the Isle of Patmos … to listen for what Christ has to tell us, and to see … to actually experience … the presence of Christ. And to know, and to hear, what Christ has to say to us right now. And not to listen to the voice of the world so much. Not to listen to the voice of our fears or our thoughts, or anybody else’s opinions of what is happening right now.
But just to have faith, and to trust in God … and maybe read Chapter 1 of Revelation. It is pretty cool! It is the most beautiful vision in the whole wide world! And it is full of loving support for Christians, and for the Christian churches, through the Angelic realm and through Christ.
God bless you all, keep you in faith and love and hope and happiness and joy forever!
In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars

TRAVEL AMONG THE ASTRAL SUB-PLANES
Dear Ones,
INTRODUCTION
I have been searching for a while now for descriptions of the seven sub-planes of the Astral Plane. I have found some pretty good information in “The Astral Body and Other Astral Phenomena,” compiled by Arthur E. Powell, published 1927, Quest Book edition 1973, copyright The Theosophical Publishing House, London, Ltd. 1965.
However, this information is spread out, hither and yon, in the book. As this book is under copyright, I cannot quote snippets of text in the blog, out of legal concern. However, I will offer a little information from School of Theosophy sources that are in the public domain, along with page citations of copyrighted information that can be consulted by those who have copies of the book.
………
Another way to cover most of the material on the various sub-planes, would be to read …

At the end of the blog is an explanation of travel from one sub-plane to another, which is useful in an Ascension context, as the Awareness of humankind expands from the merely physical, out into the astral plane, and beyond, to the fifth dimension, the Kingdom of God, where Christed and Buddhic consciousness abide.
Now, on to the compilation on the seven astral planes, according to the School of Theosophy …
………………………………………………
THE SEVEN ASTRAL PLANES
“First of all, then, it must be understood that the astral plane has seven subdivisions, each of which has its corresponding degree of materiality and its corresponding condition of matter. Now numbering these from the highest and least material downwards, we find that they naturally fall into three classes, divisions 1, 2 and 3 forming one such class, and 4, 5 and 6 another, while the seventh and lowest of all stands alone.
“The difference between the matter of one of these classes and the next would be commensurable with that between a solid and a liquid, while the difference between the matter of the subdivisions of a class would rather resemble that between two kinds of solid, such as, say, steel and sand. Putting aside for the moment the seventh, we may say that divisions 4, 5 and 6 of the astral plane have for their background the physical world we live in and all its familiar accessories.
“Life on the sixth division is simply our ordinary life on this earth, minus the physical body and its necessities; while as it ascends through the fifth and fourth divisions it becomes less and less material, and is more and more withdrawn from our lower world and its interests.”

THE HIGHER ASTRAL SUB-PLANES
“The first, second, and third subdivisions seem much further removed from this physical world, and correspondingly less material. Entities inhabiting these levels lose sight of the earth and its belongings; they are usually deeply self-absorbed, and to a large extent create their own surroundings, though these are not purely subjective, as in Devachan [the Heaven Worlds], but on the contrary sufficiently objective to be perceptible to other entities and also to clairvoyant vision.
“This region is beyond doubt the ‘summerland’ of which we hear so much at spiritualistic séances, and the entities who descend from and describe it are probably often speaking the truth as far as their knowledge extends.
“It is on these planes that ‘spirits’ call into temporary existence their houses, schools, and cities, for these objects are often real enough for the time, though to a clearer sight they may sometimes be pitiably unlike what their delighted creators suppose them to be.
“Nevertheless, many of the imaginations that take form there are of real though temporary beauty, and a visitor who knew of nothing higher might wander contentedly enough there among forests and mountains, lovely lakes and pleasant flower-gardens, or might even construct such surroundings to suit his own fancies.”

TRAVEL AMONG THE ASTRAL SUB-PLANES
Here is an explanation of navigating among the various astral sub-planes that I found very interesting. Apparently this has to do with transforming one’s Awareness, rather than movement through space …

This is useful in an Ascension context, as our Awareness is expanding outward from the Material Plane (that is, the plane of physical reality), into the Plane of Forces, from thence into the Astral Plane, and thence on into the fifth dimension, the Kingdom of God, where Christed and Buddhic consciousness abide.
According to the above excerpt, expansion of Awareness into the loftier astral realms depends on a person’s ability to change his astral rate of vibration. This is done, according to the teachings of today’s Ascension workers, through creation of loftier emotions, such as love, faith, trust, and joy. The ability to create emotions ‘on the spot’ is a new skill for us humans … it requires diligent practice. See …

We must all ‘learn the ropes’ of the seven astral planes, whether those of the Hellworlds (sub-plane 7, the lowest astral sub-planes); the Purgatory Worlds (sub-planes 6 through 4; the intermediate astral sub-planes); and the Heaven Worlds (sub-planes 3 through 1, which heretofore were the very loftiest abodes of human consciousness).
Once we have this power of astral navigation at hand in our clair ‘tool belts’, it will be much easier to communicate with our Ascension team members in the higher dimensions, and to help those still learning astral navigation skills without getting mired down in ‘sticky wicket’ situations.
Another caveat: It is important to master timeline skills, in case we find ourselves in Hellworld situations that are difficult to pierce through. For this, see my blog category: Timelines – multitemporality – alternate universes – fractals
